I recently purchased my wedding dress from peridress.com. They pushed my order back 4 months saying that they had to hand sew beads on, I recieved the dress yesterday, there isn't a bead on it anywhere. It looks nothing like what it was supposed to, the sewing on it is gappy, it is too short and there is not enough fabric to let out to lenghten it. The customer service is awful. They take between a week and a half to three weeks to respond. I DO NOT recommend this site. They are horrible!

I am sorry to hear that, but I have a totally different experience from Peridress web site. I purchased my wedding dress in winter, it is not a hot season for wedding. I got my wedding dress on time and it is very beautiful. I know that they just remake the dress, their dress is not the original one. It is just some detail different. But my dress it still very nice. I recommend this web site.

I am also sorry about you. Maybe there is misunderstanding between you and peridress. You should tell your requirements when you place the order. I purchased my wedding dress from peridress too. I can’t express how lucky I am to find peridress to make my wedding dress! I received my wedding dress in time! It is very well made and in very good condition. It was a bit long when I tried it on, but I wore heels on my wedding day so that worked! Also I love all the beautiful handmade work on my dress, they are AMAZING and I am thrilled! I got a lot of compliments on my wedding day! Anyway, I BELIEVE I WILL DO FURTHER BUSINESS WITH PERIDRESS IN THE FUTURE.

Hello, I needed a white princess dress for Halloween for my 7 year old. I found thee dress on-line & gave theem all her measurements. They even e-mailed me back to get additional measurements to make sure it fit. I ordered it October 10, 2011 & told theem I needed it by October 25the. I just received by October 19the. The dress fits her perfectly.When I ordered thee dress, I didn't realize it was coming from China. So, when I got thee receipt stating it was from China, I was very scared theat I wouldn't get thee dress on time or theat it would not look like thee picture. I was wrong! I would TOTALLY order from theem again! My little girl & I are very pleased. Just make sure you have all of your measurements right. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE: I ordered 6 Bridesmaids dresses from peridress. When they arrived I realised that I had ordered a wrong size. So I reordered the correct one at my cost. Peridress asked me to send them photos so they could make the dresses exactly the same, which I did. This saga draged out and finally it arrived- (6 black bridesmaids were ordered) and this one would you believe was powder blue. It wasn't even the same style, so god knows why they asked me to send them photos for. I emailed them straight away as my daughters wedding was getting closer. WE fix they said. TWO days before the wedding another dress arrived, this one was black, but that was about it. The beading was different not only silver beads where the others were black beads. The skirt of the dress had no pleats the other 5 were heavily pleated. When trying on the other dresses hems were all over the place. Way above the ankle on one side and hanging on the floor on the other side. There was not one dress that looked half decent on the girls, one had hardley any pleats on one side the other side was so thick with them that the material stuck out. All the dresses would have to be redone in a mager way. Needless to say my daughter had to go out on the day before her wedding with her bridesmaids and buy 6 new dresses. They got 6 beautiful black dresses from Myer's and they ended up being cheaper than those from Peridress. Peridress asked me to send photos showing faults and believe it or not they said they couldn't see anything wrong with them, so I pointed out the faults with some of them and this is what they said.
Our dress is made by hand, there will be a little different with each other. And they are all beautiful as a whole. Monkey's could do a better job.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I, stupidly did. I did not know of this website or I would not have dealt with them. I ordered a dress in February giving sizes and indicating that I wore A SIZE 14 US. I rec'd the dress late March and when I tried it on it was about 3 inches too small around the bustline. I couldn't find an e/m to contact them, but I tried to call them in China three times to no avail. After I contacted the credit card company I rec'd an e/m asking me to cancel my stop payment, return the dress and we would a credit. I refused to stop payment but sent the dress back (at a cost of. $50). with no assurance from our P.O. that they would receive it. They (Judy their Cust. Rep.) sent an e/m saying the dress had been rec'd and they would refund 50% claiming the dress was made to the size I had indicated. With the cost of the dress ($180 plus return shipping of $50 and the cost of a replacement dress) I now have paid more than twice what the dress is worth. i I said I wouldn't accept their offer and they now have countered with 55% return. They sent pictures of the dress with a tape measure and it showed the back zipper opened about 3 4 inches ( the approx. measurement too small). This is an ongoing situation and I guess I won't have any recourse since I'm dealing with China - an expensive lesson to learn. I will be in contact with PayPal first of the week to see if they can help me further. I hope you will learn from my experience and NOT order from Peridress even though their prices seem so good. Others have said that they have ordered dresses 1 or 2 sizes larger then had to pay for alterations which were expensive.

Do not be fooled by all of the "wonderful" praises of Peridress. They are a scam. Stay away.

When I encountered the favorite style of Moonlight on Peridress, and encountered your excellency of service patience, I think I was in the right place to do the right thing. With a bit of worry, I purchased their dress. A bit of worry becomes into surprise until the ordered dress send to my hands by UPS guys. I have a perfect feeling just the same as the original piece. I have a good experience from Peridress. I ordered the wedding from Peridress mainly for the guaranteed quality and best prices. I received the package in 6 weeks afterwards the order was placed online. I was timely informed where the step was during the order procedure and dress manufacture. Everything went smooth.I tried on the dress to find what it looks like. Absolutely beautiful and perfect fits, especially of the costume jacket, I couldn’t cheat myself to say! Stumbled across this site whilst browsing the internet and thought I'd add my own comments to hopefully help anyone considering ordering a cheap copy.
I'm a freelance seamstress in England and I do the alterations for five reputable bridal stores who only sell designer gowns, in twelve years I've worked on approx 10, 000 gowns (yes really!), the bride's chosen gown comes into store, it's pinned to fit and I do the alterations.
My phone number's in the yellow pages so I get lots of calls from brides who have ordered a dress from China, usually a copy of a well known designer. I have a good eye for detail and most of these dresses are NOTHING like the dress in the photo.
This photo is usually taken from the genuine designer, they use the cheapest quality zips you could ever imagine, which usually break very quickly. Quite often there's very little or no boning where it should be on strapless gowns so it falls down around the bust area, they smell of smoke and often have dirt marks on them. They often use a duchess satin (which is good) but it will have flaws in the fabric or dirt marks. Also the major designers only supply to reputable stores and usually have a recommended retail price. So if you order one for a couple of hundred dollars, you'll get what you pay for I'm afraid, a cheap and not very good copy.
I never fail to be amazed by the bride who thinks her cheap copy from China is absolutely beautiful... One girl showed me a picture of the dress she'd ordered and when it arrived I couldn't believe how she loved it and it was NOTHING like the picture!
When you read reviews where the bride thinks her dress is absolutely beautiful, you have to consider first what her standards are compared to yours, you can't trust another persons' opinion on something like that.
Another point to note, the big designers do use factories all over Asia, but their standards of manufacture are second to none. The corsetry and beadwork is superb. The seams are absolutely straight and perfect, altering them is easy as they're made properly to start with.
I must add that I have seen a small handful of cheap dresses that are actually OK, but of all the dresses I've worked on that's a very small handful.
I agree that the designer dresses are way out of price range for most people, so look for sample sales or buy the real thing second hand and have it cleaned and altered.

Oh. I am sorry to hear that. I got my dress from peridress too. But I really love the dress Peridress sent to me. It is well made of good satin fabric. The perfectly cut silhouette is so simple, even more beautiful than the picture on their website. When I placed an order on the select wedding dress, I felt a little bit skeptical about its real quality when reached. As result, it took my breath at the moment of unpacking the express package! Now my friend in the accompany of purchasing the dress was considering her wedding dress also from them, not only for excellent dress quality but also for nice and warm hearted services! We will highly recommend the online dress boutique to all relatives who had wedding plane in the next spring!

I bought my dress from this site! It is ...very pretty...worth waiting for...and so glad. I was worried it would be too small as I gave them my exact measurments but it fits! (I still need someone to lace me into in properly so I can check the size out when it's on correctly)

I also asked for a lace up back instead of a zip, which they have done. My advice to anyone ordering from here is to give them specific information or your own request advance.

I also got a response to every email so I couldn't be happier with Peridress and I will be ordering bridesmaid dresses from here. I love the way it fits and the way it looks! I could not believe that ordering from china could be so great!

I think you would better leave all your special requirements in your order, or you can email them. I believe that they would make the dress as your requirements.
