Little Monkey Toes Failure to refund

I bought a pair of sandals for my two year old niece from the Little Monkey Toes website. They did not fit and I was told via email that I could return them. I sent them back UPS (so that I could track the package) and three weeks after they received the returned sandals, I still had not heard from them with any kind of update on the status of my return. I emailed them twice without any kind of response. I finally had to get Paypal involved and file a claim against them before they actually responded to me. Once the claim was filed, they immediately responded with "here's your refund! Thanks!". It was absolutely ridiculous having to wait this long for a return to be processed. I'm very much under the impression that if Paypal had not become involved, this company would not have refunded my purchase and would have continued to ignore me. I will never even consider doing business with them again.

Little Monkey Toes Don't buy from them

I ordered three pairs of shoes from Little Monkey Toes for my daughter on April 6, 2010. Following my order I received an email stating that one of the requested pairs was no longer in stock and asked if I would like to substitute that pair for another color. I responded with the substitution I wanted and never received a response. About a week later, I hadn't heard anything so I sent another e-mail asking when my shoes would be shipped. Once again, I was asked about the same pair of shoes not in stock and assured that my order would be shipped the following day. Again I responded with the same information, and again no response. Another week went by with no shoes so I sent yet another email stating that if my shoes were not shipped in the next 48 hours I would like a full refund. About 50 hours later, I received an email stating that my order had been shipped. In all, it took 20 days for me to receive my order. But that's not all! I had to send two pairs back because they did not fit my daughter, I sent them back on May 4, and according to the tracking info they were delivered on May 6. The site says to allow up to 2 weeks for a refund. On May 21, I called to inquire about my refund and I was told by Theresa that my refund was in process (who tried her best to rush me off the phone) and eventually told me that if I had not received the refund by May 25 to call back. Of course there was no refund by the 25th, so I called back and this time spoke with Denise. Denise informed me that my refund was, in fact, not in process when I spoke to Theresa and she was unsure why Theresa would tell me that initially. Denise then told me she would take care of my refund (no apologies) and it should take up to 5 business days. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service I'd received, stating that the 2 week period had expired. She responded that they do not open their returns daily so apparently, the 2 week process begins when they open my package. So here we are today, June 4th and I still have not received my refund. This is the WORST service I have EVER received. I will soon contact the Better Business Bureau if this issue is not resolved immediately. I just want to make sure that no one has to deal with the same horrible experience that I have.
