Dear Sir,
Our vehicle has been standing for over 3 months with promises on a weekly basis. we have purchased around 6 units to test in our fleet of over 100 vehicles but by far have not experienced such bad service from any vehicle supplier as from Kia in South Africa.
Firstly there is no proper contact numbers for complaints and the people handling just keep promising, see letters below.
The last was that Kia will carry the full cost of repair but still waiting for the vehicle.

I will be in contact with you this morning, the meeting was cancelled. Kia will only assist with a hire vehicle if there are parts on back order. The parts are all available and the engine is being assembled and should be up and running soon. I will be discussing the matter with my Dealer Principal and be in contact with you.

We do not even have a figure on this vehicle as yet, we need the go ahead to strip further and send to the engineers for a quotation(costs involved). i think once that is done we can see where we can all assist.
customer is to give the go ahead to continue. i will then prepare a complete quotation.

Hoping you can assist with our problem, we are fleet owners and have just over 7 of your Kia LDV products on test in our fleet and picked up a problem on one vehicle just after the 100 000 km warranty expired, see attached report.
Everybody is backing out and don’t want to get involved in the problem but for us it is a huge problem because it seems the quality and back up is not what it seems to be.
