I signed up for a 14 day 'free' trial of Pro Cleanse Gold Colon Cleanser on the 28th of April 2010. The deal was that you had 14 days to trial it and if you didn't want to continue with it you were to advise them before the 14 days was up and they would not send anymore of the product or charge for it. I waited for nearly a month before I received the product but they deducted €8.60 from my credit card for post & packaging on the day that I ordered it. After numerous emails to and from them I did finally get it on the 28th of May 2010. I used it and decided that it was usless and advised them by email on the 5th of May 2010 that I didn't want to continue using their product. I also instructed them that under no circumstances were they to take any more money from my Visa account. They acknowledged my email telling me that I should send back any left over product along with the empty container to reach them within the 14 days. Obviously I sent an email straight back telling them how they expected people to trial a product for 14 days and still get the bottle back to them within the 14 days! Furthermore I did not recall reading anywhere that the container had to be sent back. They 'kindly' alowed me a further 3 days to get the container back to them which I sent by registered post - costing me €7.50 by the way. I thought this was the end of it but I am only now after finding out that they have taken a further €35.50 from my account. I am having similar problems with Cho-yung for a 14 day 'free trial' which again I waited ages for. They claim to be a separate company but they are not. Again I advised them within the 14 days. They acknowledged my email and said they would not take money from my account - but guess what! They took €60.81. With alot of agruing to date they have only refunded me half that. PLEASE DO NOT GET CAUGHT BY THIS SCAM. Apart from the product being completely usless they make money on those who don't fight to get their money back and those who forget to advise them within the 14 day trial period. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.! Hi Cathy1983, did you send it by registered post? If so did you keep a copy of the receipt as there will be a tracking reference number on it and you can check yourself if they received it or not. They tried to use this excuse with me also, but fortunately I had the receipt and was able to prove that they did infact get the packages.
Keep putting pressure on them.

Best of luck.

Just checed my Visa Statement and finally all the money I was fighting to get back from Procleanse Gold and Cho Yung has been refunded. But there two big lessons here:- 1. NEVER NEVER DEAL WITH PROCLEANSE GOLD OR CHO YUNG. But if you do 2. KEEP BOMBARDING THEM WITH EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS UNTIL YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

And finally keep a record of all your correspondence with them.

Hi Kjerstine,

Believe it or not - even after all the trouble I have had, I received today an email from Procleanse Gold advertising 'great new offers' etc. They also say that they have a new contact number and email address. see below. Hope you get a result.

Hi Emmaocall,
If it's for the Pro Cleanse product, then this is the returns address they gave me (assuming you live in Ireland as I do - product came from uk)

VALUE PRICING DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED
REGUS HOUSE
VICTORY WAY
ADMIRALS PARK
CROSSWAYS DARTFORD
DA2 6QD
UK

If it is the tea you want to return, this is the address they gave me:-

CHO YUNG LIMITED
PO BOX 1119
CRAWLEY WEST SUSSEX
RH10 0BB
UK.

NB: I sent them an email to let them know that I was no longer interested in the products and when I did this they sent me the addresses above along with a 'Returns Number'. If you dont have this number they might use it as another excuse not to refund, so make sure you have yourself well covered. Also very important - send the packages by registered post and keep the receipts for tracking references.
Best of Luck.

Hi Louz. I also had live chats with both Procleanse and Cho Yung and I still ended up having alot of trouble getting my money back - as you'll see from the record of my events above. I hope by starting this complaint that it will help stop this company from trading - the more people hear about this scam the better.
Best Regards to everyone who have added to this thread.

I have also unfortunately been ripped off by this scam too. Ordered the trial beginning of September and on the 24th Pro Cleanse charged £77.20 and Cho Yung charged £57.20 on the 27th September, 8th October Pro cleanse charged £79.99 and on the 11th Cho Yung £59.99 totalling £274.38

Called cho yung and pro cleanse insisting on a for a refund as I had cancelled and never actually received anything. They both claimed they never received an email cancelling the account. Funnily enough I'm sure I spoke to the same guy for two different companies! The bank were helpful and gave me a number for card fraud as they said this is definitely fraud [protected], although this may just be for RBS. Am absolutely livid about this. Who buys tea at £60?

Hopefully I'll receive a full refund as no goods were received as well as the charges being unauthorised. The bank did say they could cancel my bank card to stop further charges being made.

Cho Yung [protected]
Pro Cleanse [protected]

Hope this helps at all

I researched into my rights. Luckily i have a visa debit card as it offers more payment protection. And also since i never received any goods this should also help with getting a full refund. I only wish I had researched a bit more at the beginning as it was too good to be true.

I have also been subjected to this scam! and can't believe I was so gullible! and all for the hope of shedding a few pounds! However stroke of luck (hopefully) in that my Husband has access to the "company house" website (creditsafe - that highlights company statistics) and funnily enough both company names of Cho yung Ltd and Value Pricing Distributors Ltd highlight the following company director and address: Both companies show that they belong to this person at this address!

Mr Mohit Asarpota
48 Bromsgrove Gardens
Edgware
HA8 5RN

Unfortunately there is no telepohne number! However perhaps this is the person that needs bombarding with correspondence and complaints. Interesting that both companies show belonging to this man and this address!
There is also a trading address that operates in London.
May be this is a case for Watchdog!
If I don't stop receiving tablets and tea bags I will be contacting the above person!
Hope this information helps!

I just received my trial packages today from
cho-yung tea and pro cleanse gold
when I tried to end the next sending I ran into the same problems as the others
my emails bounced as well looking the companies up through google brought me here!
I got scared after reading all the complaints and started feeling really stupid
Then I started looking into my favorites where I had kept the page I ordered from originally and guess what there is a way of live chatting with both companies
so thats what I did.
I cancelled any further sending from both products and both said it was ok gave me a cancellation nr etc .
Of course I made a copy of both the chats just in case...
does any of you have simular expierences?
kind regards Louz Holland.

I'm so glad I found this thread as I too was despairing of getting hold of ProCleanse Gold. I'm now going to give the phone number and email listed above a try. I have (finally) managed to get someone at Cho-Young to give me a sensible answer and have got back most of my money, but still ended up paying £27.50 for what was supposed to be a 'free' trial! I also read on another forum that the Cho Young tea does terrible things to your digestive system with prolonged use!
The moral to all this is no matter how 'free' something seems - find and read the Terms and Conditions every time! Boring though it is, that is where the 'scam' is buried. By signing up we are agreeing to the subscription terms which means they can take the money every month until you manage to get it cancelled which can take ages and costs you money in the meantime.
This marketing practise is deplorable and I will be writing to everyone I can think of to advertise it as well as to complain bitterly about both these companies. I am sure now that the advertisement that I responded to - supposedly an unbiased trial by some journalist - was a fraudulent posting. Anyone know any differently?
Good luck to everyone.
:)

I am in the same boat as all of you. I have just been on instant chat on the Cho Yung Tea site and was basically told that I would get half of my money back. He gave me the address and reference number to return the tea that I have paid for but not yet received. I will be contacting my bank to make sure that any future payments they try to take will be stopped. I feel so angry and ripped off right now. I mean who would pay £57.20 for some tea bags?!? I am now trying to get on to Pro Cleanse Gold!

Hi all, I cannot believe that these people charged me almost £200 for these stuff that we not sure are working. I had to cancel my card and because of this scam. I e-mail them, call them but no response. I will try the number that the priviou Kealogue gave. What a price to pay to lose weight!

I am in the same boat for Procleanse and cho-yung tea and cannot get anyone to respond to me at all. The telephone numbers on the documents are all unobtainable. I seem to be in no mans land and cannot get a refund or stop further amounts going from my credit card.

Same "trial" same problems but relieved of £77-20 Having finally tracked down a phone number that works--(many thanks Sharon Watts) help@mypcgsupport.com [protected] only to be told that as more than 14 days had elapsed I was only eligible for a return of half the money, money I had not agreed to spend for goods I did not receive! This is theft and will result in legal action.
