took my dog to get groomed and an hour before closing time, get a call stating that there's been a small accident "no big deal and not noticeable, the old woman says" - I go pick up my dog and there's a huge patch of hair missing - she had cut him to his skin almost -- it was 3 fingers' width and the length of my palm. The owner wasn't there that day, so I went back the next day and she said oh well your dog is good, but moves around a lot and i can give you 20% off the next grooming - WHAT? why would i bring my dog back to be cut so badly again? It cost me $51.96 for this mess up. Also, I didn't request any trimming, but they did it anyway. here are pics of before and after.
I have gone to Pride and Groom Numerous times on different days and times and have never seen an old lady. Are you perhaps confused on the location?
They shouldn't have charged you at all. That's not something tiny, that's a pretty big chunk of fur missing.
Did the owners call you when it happened? Did they offer an apology and discount? I have taken my dog there several times and have been very happy with the treatment and quality of service by Pride-n-Groom. I have a hard time believing they did not show concern for your dog, they have always been great to us. Accidents do happen.
