Pigeonly

I am writing this review to warn you all about using Pigeonly's services. I had a terrible experience with their billing. Don't even think of entering your credit or debit card details, or you will be in major trouble. Trust me, this company is not trustworthy. Even after cancelling my subscription, they still managed to fraudulently charge me. What is even worse is that they don't allow you to remove your card until you cancel the subscription. This is a shady way of taking money from people without them being aware. I did not receive a single email or notification for these fraudulent transactions. Can you believe it? They took money right out of my account without informing me.

Now I have learned my bitter lesson and decided to never use their service again. And I suggest you do the same. This company is nothing but a money-grabbing organization that takes advantage of people with incarcerated loved ones. They have no shame and use unethical tactics to keep charging you continuously.

In conclusion, I hope my review will help you avoid making the same mistake I did. Do not give in to their false promises and never enter your credit or debit card details, or else you may experience the same ordeal as I did. Stay safe and avoid Pigeonly at all costs.

I gotta be real honest with y'all about Pigeonly. Firstly, lemme tell you that waiting for an order to finish before starting another is a major bummer. Like, who's got time for that? My second peeve with Pigeonly is that it takes way too long for the order to arrive. It took like almost a week for my order to be processed and another week for it to finally get to me. That's not cool, man. And I even paid for the premium service!

But the ultimate deal breaker for me - and this one really ground my gears - is that you gotta fork out $19.99 per inmate. Can you believe that?! I thought that once I bought this thing, I could write and send pics to all my peeps in the slammer, but nope. Apparently, that's not how it works. I got my boyfriend and brother both in the joint, and this just ain't worth it, amirite?

All in all, I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied with Pigeonly. It's just not worth the hassle or the dough.

So, I gave Pigeonly a shot with their free 3-day trial and it was pretty cool at first. I was able to send pictures, but by the end of the trial, they hadn't been received by the recipient. I thought I was only going to be charged the agreed-upon $4.99, but then all of a sudden, I got charged $19.99 two different times! What a rip-off! I had to call their customer service and sit on hold forever just to get someone to tell me they made a mistake and they'd refund my money.

Apparently, they blame it on changing servers or something, but really it just seems like a sneaky way for them to make more money off of unsuspecting people who don't have the time or energy to fight for their hard-earned cash.

Despite their shady billing practices, I do have to admit that their service is pretty useful. They claim to make communicating with loved ones in prison easier and it definitely seems like that would be true based on what I saw during my trial period. The website was easy to use and I was able to send pictures without any issues (other than them not actually being received).

So, if you're okay with the possibility of being overcharged (or "mistakenly charged" as Pigeonly would say), then I think this service could be worth it. Just be prepared to potentially spend some time on the phone with their customer service team if you do get charged incorrectly.
