Frauds, thieves and extortionists! Not Your Mother's Estate Sale is a business that operates under dubious terms, engaging in fraudulent activity, theft and extortion, taking advantage of individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one, and in need of Estate Sale liquidation. Shameful!

NotYourMother'sEstateSale, aka NYMES-owners Tammy Weiss-Vincent Olivares-was contacted to conduct an Estate Sale for a specified amount of furniture and items to be auctioned from my home. The sale was to be conducted as an online auction through www.NYMES.net in 2014.

Two armchairs that were not part of the Estate Sale, went missing after 4 p.m. THESE CHAIRS WERE NOT PART OF THE SALE, nor has NYMES provided me with the name or a contact to reach the buyer after having contacted the business owner (Tammy Weiss) several times through text, email and by phone. NYMES is responsible for the two missing chairs and has ignored requests on my part, to resolve the matter.

Additionally, the dining set (and other pieces of furniture that were listed for sale) were also SOLD FAR BELOW their value (entire set-Vintage 1950's Maple dining table and 6 chairs sold for $12.00! That is not a typo! Twelve dollars! My request for a reserve to be placed on several items for sale during the auction was IGNORED. I was also never advised of pieces that may have a "higher dollar realization" or with "itemized personal reports on a daily basis". These are two statements they make on their site to gain potential listers. LIES! NYMES has since removed my listing from view on their website, despite keeping past auctions up for viewing.

Not only did NYMES misrepresent themselves and their services, they refused to honor requests to resolve issues with items that were stolen from the home, the company misrepresented themselves and their services, engaging in fraudulent business activity and allowing theft to occur. This harms both consumers and the economy.
