Melvin Mikes painted my house several weeks ago. He didn’t finish the job, but he took money for the job and vanished somewhere. I tried to contact him, but this jerk simply ignored me and didn’t provide any info. His phone sometimes didn’t work at all. Maybe someone has any idea how to track this guy and return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.
He was to paint the interior of my house. He started in September with a 50% deposit. After about a month he kindly requested if he could have the balance because he needed it and I reluctantly complied "Big Mistake". Now he is paid in full And he still is painting my house and we are in the second month (1352 sq ft). He only have completed about half of the painting However he hasn't completed the painting.
He call and ask if he can install 2 vanities, I reluctantly said ok. The next 3 week he did a huge list of other tasks that I did not want or he never asked permission to complete and sent me pictures to show me. He sent me a invoice for it. I had paid for the total painting that is only half completed however he is asking for payment for the projects that wasn't approved.
He refused to complete the painting he put about 10 deep knife incisions in the wall and left.
Unbelievable. He wanted me to pay for something that he completed without permission but did not want to complete what I paid him to complete.
He scammed me out of a lot of money.

Melvin Mikes received a deposit for paint, materials and baseboards to paint the entire interior of our house mid April then more than half of a deposit to start the job. Beware, not an honest man he left not even halfway through the job and ran off with our paint and money. His phone is going straight to voicemail and not returning calls. He’s a fast talker seems very nice. Not the case, he’s a con artist. Anyone out there knows how to contact him?

He scammed me as well as he talks a good game. He never returned money for work that he never started. Melvin is playing a dangerous game that will catch up with him real soon.
Was anyone successful in getting your money back, this happened to me recently with Melvin Mikes and I am at a loss for words how frustrated I am.
