I contacted Mason Barrett, Realtor, to work with me, a distressed real estate specialist, to help a distressed home owner who was in pre-foreclosure and who had contacted me for help. I was to be the direct contact with the home owner and Mason Barrett, Realtor, was supposed to assist me with dealing with the foreclosing lender. My compensation for helping the home owner was to be paid upon completion of helping the home owner. Once Mason Barrett, Realtor, had all the information about the home owner and the home, he bypassed me and went directly to the home owner to work with him so, accordingly, I would not be compensated for my efforts.
Interesting how Mason Barrett, Realtor, deals with those who bring him business, i.e., by completely stealing the business. After Mason Barrett, Realtor, stole from me, I spoke with a real estate investor in the area who laughed and told me that Mason Barrett, Realtor, tried to steal from him as well. Given the plethora of Realtors in the area as well as Mason Barrett's track record for dishonesty, I highly recommend staying away from him. Why take chances on a Realtor who is known to steal from others when there are many other Realtors available?
For telephone recordings between Mason Barrett, Realtor, and me in which you can hear Mason Barrett, Realtor, string me along to get information in the first phone call and then steal the business completely from me in the second phone call, as well as a full description of what transpired, please see the blog post at:

Had I done even a brief background check on Mason Barrett, Realtor, I'd have discovered his dishonest nature and never would have used him.
