Last month in march, I had a virtual consultation with Ideal Image Rep. I was told "Lets just apply and see what you are approved for". I did the application over the phone as they made it seem like i was just seeing what i would be approved for but the loan would not be paid until day of service. Well, I immediately got set up a loan with Fortiva $2000 prior to receiving any services. I was only told that I was approved for the loan and what my payments would be, not that they would charge the debt immediately. A week later, i called and told them i do not want to proceed with this and i cancelled my upcoming appointments and then they told me there is no active loan in my name so i thought i was fine. This morning i received a charge for "149.83" and when i tell you i was furious... I waited on the phone for almost an hour and could not get through so my bank told me they can dispute the charge once it posts. I cant even find Fortivas contact to cancel this loan. What kind of business does this? There are soo many reviews on being scammed and i am hoping to get this settled ASAP.. I want this loan cancelled today and i should NOT be getting charged for services i have not received. Ideal Image should absolutely change the way they charge people and their "billing policy" because I do not agree with how they are doing things and now the stress i have to deal with disputing this. They clearly only care for the profit and not actually caring for their clients wellbeing. Im not saying all employers but the way its set up sure seems that way. I'm just very disappointed by this experience and how ive seen so many reviews of this happpening to people and dont see this getting resolved as i have not read 1 review where Fortiva OR Ideal image did anything..

Ideal Image too my money for cool sculpting and at no point in the process did they mention that the cool sculpting services have an expiration date at which point I can no longer use my sessions. They stated that it is something in their contract but it was not called out to me at any point during the process.

I signed a contract with them in 2021 - I tried to engage their services on 4/2023 at which point I was told I could no longer because the vouchers expired. At no point during any of the sessions for this service did anyone tell me that my services were set to expire.

Hours reduced with less than 5 days notice and no explanation given. This is a horrible business plan. I just started treatments and my second appointment had to be rescheduled because it was late afternoon the week after hours changed. I, like I am sure many people who work (and must work to afford this kind of treatment!), need to do treatments near the end of the day or night and closing at 6 daily now really hurts my ability to get there. I drive over an hour each way to get there and cannot go in the morning or middle of the day. When I tried (IN MARCH) to reschedule to a Saturday, all appointments were booked through MAY! This is ridiculous. WHY did Ideal Image all of a sudden stop all night appointments? If you were planning to do that, you should have at least given a month notice to all locations and customers. I chose Ideal Image because of the reputation AND the hours were doable for me. You left a lot of people like me in a bind - after taking all the money upfront of course.

Ideal image feeds on your insecurities and gives you no time to make a decision. They are an extremely predatory company. After saying multiple times I really cannot afford this they swindled me into signing their contract. I realized after a couple of days I could lose weight on my own...but not before i realized they charge you BEFORE ever providing services...and that is how they cheat you out of thousands of dollars...when you call them they tell you "you don't qualify for refunds" and "you had three days to change your mind" NONE of this was explained to me by the saleswoman. They said "we assume you read the contract when you sign it" Well, good on them for fine printing that and not actually explaining verbally so we have an understanding before signing.

Horrible horrible practices, they are cheaters and thieves and prey on the insecure.

We paid for 9 sessions for my daughter. Scheduling was a nightmare. We were told even if her contract ends, the 9 sessions will still be honored. Plus we paid a life time treatment plan for touch ups. Multiple employees reassured us when I asked during each session about being able to fit in all the sessions before expiration. Now our contract ended in January with 8 sessions completed on face and 7 completed on her bottom area. They are saying, you should have read the contract your sessions are expired. I waited on hold for 1 hr and 56 min with them before giving up.

It takes weeks to months to actually schedule an appointment for treatment after purchasing the contract. Ideal Image will have you confirm your appointment via email and text several times, and in some instances, "within an hour or your appointment will be canceled". I have had an appointment canceled without anyone calling me to tell me or rescheduling, the front desk says someone should have called you, the corporate offices say, the front desk should have called you, yet no one called and hthere I was an hour drive away for a treatment that was very much not happening without any accommodations. Now they have a new CEO who decided on 3.22.23 that they would now be closing at 6pm and no longer open Sundays. Once again, no email, no text, no call to say that they will no longer accommodate my appointment they also didn't send out a 30 day notice of change to anyone - Ideal Image got the update Tuesday and just closed their doors on Sunday. I cannot be the only one that the front desk or corporate "accidentally forgot to call". They also said they would accommodate my 5 remaining Sunday appointments, but can't do it during the week, since they close at 6 now and only have Saturday in July available for my next appointment, yet my contract runs out in September. How can they just change their schedule that dramatically without being able to accommodate all the people who had Sunday appointments or appointments after 6 Monday through Saturday? And I know I can't be the only one in this situation because other people must have had these appointments. I'm pretty sure they needed to give us at least 30 days and should have been able to accommodate these appointments within reason, not months out.

I purchased an Uhltherapy treatment for $1700. Because of a medical reason I was unable to use the service. I have called, emailed and physically gone to the location trying to change it to another service. They will not respond or I get the “only a manger can approve it” excuse and never hear anything else. This has gone on for 5 months and they completely ignore every communication.
I have asked to change to a different service or even just an account credit, but no answer.

Will not give any refunds at all not even in the first 24 hours

Ideal imaging called me because I was looking for prices on Botox online and as we have to fill out all of our information to get find out about the service . So they called me I said to them I’m pretty sure you don’t have a place in New Jersey and they told me yes we do at liberty Plaza now I live off of Berlin, Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville and we have a liberty Plaza five minutes up the street .they had me thinking this was the place the hole time on the phone .they had me on the phone for over one hour trying to get me to put down a down payment. She told me I can always cancel and get a refund at anytime let me just put it through and as I give her the information and I asked for the address and she kept hesitating on this say oh hold on wait let me see oh it’s in PA I said no no I don’t go over the bridge I need to cancel this and get a refund. And she told me she needed to make a call and she would get back to me . Of course she never did and as soon as I hung up, I sent a emails saying the same thing that I needed a full refund no one respond back sent one more no response back I called today and the guy said there are no refunds since there is a place within 60 miles of your location . So the whole time this lady repeatedly was telling me I could always get a refund for my money back if there was any problems was a complete lie. Do not use ideal imaging, unless you like dealing with people that are deceiving.

Had a video call with Christine workman I told her I wanted injections on both sides of my mouth and upper lip she quoted me a price of $2175.00 I had the procedure done Feb 20,2023 at 3pm, I waited fourteen days and returned on March 7 at 4:30 pm. To begin with I didn’t have the injection done going up to my nose but I did the lower part, I still had lines on the left side of my upper lip and it looks horrible the girl that did my treatment on Feb 20 said I had some banked in case I needed it, March 7 I go in and she changed her story in order to get my left upper mouth done which was only one line she informed me I had to pay another $975 I had my neighbor take a picture of me before my treatment and a picture after treatment and a picture 14 after treatment my face looks horrible I’m so ashamed. I was diagnosed with breast canver last September and feeling horrible having my breast removed so I decided to pay this high price to make me fill better about myself, I was treated horrible so I just walked out this was a rip off and I’m not going to settle for this. I will get an attorney,

I called in many months try to cancel the membership but no body call me back, now I got a charge on my card. When I first sign up for the services the sale rep has told me to call in and let her know four months in advance to request for the cancelation of my lifetime guarantee membership, but unfortunately she does not work for ideal image anymore. And I have tried to come into the location and ask for help but no body could help me.

In November 2022 my husband contacted idea image for a Christmas present for me. I want to reduce my lower/upper abdomen. Idea image scheduled me for my fist appointment in December, but the tech was not able to be there, and we rescheduled for January which they called and was not able keep me on that appointment date. They wanted to schedule me for February. Because of a trip already paid for a booked there was no way to allow. I wanted to begin the treatment before our planned trip. My husband David very upset and decided to cancel and requested a refund of the $6300. We were explained by Sydney that a review of the requested refund would take 7-10 days.

Because my husband was very upset about the situation, I tried to handle it. I spoke with Casey Weitz in customer care who advised me if scheduling was a problem on their end within a 60-day time frame which our would be 1/27/2023 then refund would be processed after review. I received a copy of the contract which we hadn't received before and read through it. If I called or no show, I would be charge $50 for each missed appointment. We never

missed an appointment, it was always a scheduling issue.

Decided to finally have the hair on my back removed after wife insisting I do it. After the consultation in spring of 2020 they said I would typically only require 10-12 sessions. Any additional sessions after the initial 12 session would be my responsibility to pay for them. The 10-12 sessions was $2,856 to which was paid up front at a minor cost savings “So they made me believe”. I had the first 6 treatments then covid hit and was unable to schedule any appointments with Ideal image because they would not take any. Once the covid scare was over, roughly 6-8 months I contacted them and was told my contract had expired. I explained that was due to them not taking appointments and they acted like they were doing me a favor and said they would issue 3 coupons but could only issue one at a time and I would be required to contact them after each session to schedule the next. After the first session I called to schedule the next and was told the person who set that up was no longer there and left no notes regarding the agreement. I pleaded my case and was told sorry for your luck there was nothing that could be done. So how I am 60% done and still dealing with hair. My advice is to never use them and if you have to! spend the extra money to pay as you go. They are dishonest business and dishonest practices and very high turnover.

When I had my first session they told me that an adverse reaction called PAH wherein the fat cells actually multiply after being destroyed can sometimes occur. They basically said its the rarest thing ever and that if it happened their insurance would fix it with surgery but that it wouldn't happen. They are big fat liars. I returned the following year because my stomach had gotten bigger. They blamed me for gaining weight (even though that's what happens when new fat cells generate, something tour body doesn't do naturally). Several months later I have lost some weight and my stomach looks even bigger. I can see where the applicators were. I have "shelves". I emailed multiple times, even contacted Allergan the company that makes the device. No response from Ideal Image. Today I called and waited forever to speak to an "executive." He scheduled me an appointment but had the audacity to tell me they may recommend MORE treatments at an additional charge. Idk what he was smoking to even suggest that to me.

I was relentlessly contacted by Ideal image in December 2022. After avoiding their sales people for days, I decided to see what they were offering and allowed them to present to me a virtual consultation during my virtual consultation. I was told that I could get cool sculpting on my chin. I was also told that I could get ultherapy for any wrinkles that I had, and a lip fill treatment. This woman had only spent five minutes looking at me. I didn’t know any of my medical background. She advised me to check the boxes in the questionnaire as no for any kind of medical issue. She remained on the phone with me, until I had signed all of the items that she had sent to me never at any time during our supposed recorded conversation did she mention that this was a non refundable contract or that I had three days to back out of this contract legally. She was very very pushy to make sure that I got into a treatment center immediately when I went to the treatment center I had mentioned that I was going to get a tummy tuck in a week to the technician that was doing my cool sculpting on my chin. It turns out that the 10 minute consultation virtually by the supposed medical professional wasn’t really accurate and I was unable to receive the cool sculpting on my chin because I did not have enough fat on my chin to go into the cup that they put on your face for the cool sculpting. I ask for a refund immediately I was in the treatment room and the technician told me that he would go talk to the office to see what could be done and I advised him that if I couldn’t have the procedure done that I needed my money back. He came in five minutes later and said let’s try it here on your stomach, I get advised him I was planning on a tummy tuck in a week. He explained that this would be just because he wanted to do it because he didn’t want to waste all of my time and that this would not cost me anything so of course I agreed not knowing what liars and cheats and thieves that ideal image employs. I went in the next day for my lip filler, which was perfectly fine, and I was more than willing to pay for that treatment. I contacted Ideal Image that evening, and explained that I wasn’t going to be able to do the ultherapy. I also explained that the cool sculpting was not what I had purchased, it was two days after I had purchased my package and I knew what my legal rights were to cancel the contract. I contacted Ideal Image headquarters and told them I wanted to cancel the contract. They told me I would need a medical professional to give me a letter for them. To receive a refund I explained that the law doesn’t work like that and I was within my three day period to cancel the contract completely and I was not happy with the service that I was receiving and I didn’t like being pushed into procedures that I did not qualify for, I also reached out to my bank and filed a dispute with my credit card company after going back-and-forth with the sneaky ideal image corporate office. Ideal image contacted me and told me if I dropped the dispute with my bank and the credit card company that they would give me back $2000 of my money. I contact my bank immediately and explained this to them.

It’s been over a month and I am frustrated and without $4000 in cash that I provided to this business for services that have not been rendered. I want my money back I want ideal image to change their car salesman sales techniques. I want the federal government to step in and start regulating these kinds of businesses so that they stop taking advantage of people who are just trying to get through each day a little bit better than they were the day before. ideal image should be ashamed of themselves, and they should be forced out of business after they are sued in a class action suit by all the people that they’ve taken advantage of and ripped off over the years personally, I will not be one of them, and I will go to all lengths required to let them know that I will not be bullied, and they will not steal from me because they put no refunds in their fraudulent contracts.

Scam company! Don’t allow yourself to be fooled by this company! I wish I read the reviews before calling. They signed me up right away for the membership special for $250 and then got me to take out a loan I wasn’t 100% sure about and I got approved and was tricked into making a first paying of $37.50. But the loan company approved and held $300. I did not agree to this! So I cancelled the lady on the virtual said she didn’t accept the loan ($750). However a day goes by and it’s accepted. Now I have to dispute the amount and cancel the loan on affirm. During all this with the loan issue, I read online that they call you to reschedule your appointment. AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID. So I said I had a weird feeling this would happen and to just cancel and refund my membership, they didn’t and accepted the payment! I’ve been on the phone for over two days with ideal image trying to get them to cancel everything, they leave me on hold continuously and won’t call me back either. I called from a blocked number and somehow they knew my information on where I calling from. (Langley). I plan to go legally to deal with this as yet again nobody has called me back or given me any information on my cancellation. Now they will have to lawsuit on them which I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn’t the only one trying to bring this scam company down.

I have been going to Ideal image for years for my face laser treatments. One of the hardest area to have hair permanently removed. The treatment was just slowing growth so touch ups were a must upon finishing the package sessions. I had been there for years and was set a set fee. It seems lately my contract and the set fee has not been honored. It has been inconvenient to go to my appointments and staff members charge me differently or make an appointment and get told I have a balance even when updating my contract. I find it hard to believe that the staff members in my clinic are unable to pull notes, history of payment and the contract that I had recently done. It is harder to believe that I keep having the same issue and my account not be actualized. No one is able to help inside the clinic where they can transfer you to a supervisor. It seems minimal yet I can not make an appointment until someone reaches out and it takes days for a response. Numbers given have you in long time ques and when you request callback no one calls you back. No one can assist in just pulling up my account and it is so inconvenient not to get the customer service at the moment or attention. Be careful with these contracts and ongoing fees. They tell you it is a lifetime but you can be paying a lifetime for these touch ups when treatment areas are not removed. They also have an issue honoring prices even for long time customers. Customer service such as mine with a actualized contract shouldn't take days or several numbers not to reach someone to help.

I’m writing to you on behalf of the ideal image non-refundable services and fees. When I first booked a free consultation I was expecting to get a general idea of what services I could choose from. However, I feel that I was pressured into signing the contract by the consultant. I was not even informed that all fees and services are non-refundable. I have not even received the contract details in my email until I had to call the company myself and explicitly ask them to send me the information. I feel that this is not a fair service provided by ideal image as some candidates like myself may change their minds and would like to cancel certain packages and should be provided

the refund for those packages if they haven’t used any of the services. Now I am forced to choose a product or service with the company otherwise I have lost all my money through the prepayment method. Unfortunately, through that I feel that the company is cheating out on their clients rights. This is not something I had expected for a highly reputable company such as ideal image. Moving forward, in regards to my friends, family members and online reviews, I would have to provide a realistic expectation of what I would rate the company, and so far it’s not looking really good in my opinion. I hope that in the near future, they explicitly inform their clients about what is going on when they agree to signing in these types of contracts. With that being said, thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I would really appreciate that at least my complaint will be addressed accordingly.
