It is really sad that someone who claims to represent the teachings of God, is having his employees harass other religious entities behind the scenes. Jim Brown who is Minister of Grace & Truth Ministries in Hendersonville Tennessee, has had several of his cronies call on via the phone, e-mail, or sometimes on site of a competing Church, and attack the beliefs of that congregation who Brown deems not to be a true Christian by his own beliefs.

Brown's hard-core cult-like teachings of the Bible, attract a fringe group of Christians who wish to exalt themselves over traditional groups such as Catholics, Baptists, Pentecostal, and any other religious group they deem worthy of attack.

Brown is not man enough himself to do the dirty work, so he has his followers or low-paid employees do it for him. They call people anonymously and verbally attack them with their views of the Bible. They send CDs and literature as well to unsuspecting churches who they target.

For several years. Brown and his group have been brokering airtime of cable systems across the country to carry their television ministry and raise donations. Brown hired an out of work heavy metal radio disc jockey - Dave Tuckmantel - to contact TV outlets to carry the weekly broadcasts.

Tuckmantel is responsible for harassing many religious organizations in behalf of Brown, and hap-hazardly boasts of his activities in the name of God.

This is completely unacceptable behavior and unethical for a religious entity to behave in such a manner. I was a supporter of Grace & Truth Ministries for quite sometime, however after learning of these shameful activities, I have since severed ties with them.

I feel the public needs to be aware of their activities and unethical behavior of Jim Brown and his Grace & Truth Ministries.

I see people hate God's words. Nothing that Grace and Truth Ministries does is unbiblical. Dave's life is no different than mine. I bet if we knew what you did behind closed doors, you'd go crawl in a hole and die. I'd rather be apart of a ministry of people that are broken, bruised, and REPENTANT than unrepentant, arrogant, lofty, lying fools like these mega churches. Who ever is complaining is probably fabricating and too immature to handle God's word. Lastly, you all mean they are OCCULT, not cult. Read the definitions.

I agree with you. I love Grace and Truth. I use to hate fire and brim stone preaching but Jim does an excellent job putting the scriptures together. Yes, I didn't like it at first because truth cuts to the heart. It's hard truth and not an easy Jesus. Why do you think the Pharisees sought to kill Jesus. As far as attacking Dave, it might be note worthy to look at some of the people God called. How about Paul and the killing of Christians or King David who had Bethsheba's husband Uriah killed and Jacob, later called Israel. God called these men and forgave them, justified them. Justification is nothing more than the Judge forgiving our sins. After God calls a man he predestinates the man to be conformed to the likeness of Jesus. It use to be during the days of Vietnam there were military drafts. The US Government would call men and predestinate them to be soldiers and train them in the ways of war. No difference here. God predestinates men to be Christ like to be Sons of the Mighty God. God changes the mindset and puts fear into our hearts which keeps us from doing the things we would want to do. Sin has it's pleasure. Its the love of God and fear that keep us from participating in sin, at least most of the time. I think when we reach full maturity we'll run from sin just as Joseph did. Anyway, I love Jim's teaching even though it cuts. How can I not respect a man for brutal truth. I respect men who tell me the truth and not what I want to hear.

Maybe if you'd try reading, say, the entire gospel of Mark, or even just the entire 3rd chapter of Luke you could begin to see Mr. Brown does to scriptural text exactly what Man has always done, declare it the sole divine/authorised version of the 'creator of everything' manifest will for the most cherished object of that creation, claim the creator has anointed one member of the creator's flock, a mere mortal(s) to provide the correct winning strategy to obtain eternal life then dictate this interpretation to every other human as truth-the only truth in its entirety. Oh foolish man. The universe, created universe, has never, is never and will never be subject to Man's dictates. We are only a small point in creation. According to 'the' bible, God has a covenant with the land and the beasts He seems to take as seriously and executes as justly as any of those declared between God with Man. I would rather trust a well proofed algebra book author concerning the laws of a creator God than a haphazard construction of belief from 'the' bible. By the way, if you consider yourself saved(what ever that means) aren't you already living eternally?

I have listening to this nutter on cable. Completely twisting the original intent of the scripture, and turning it into something unrecognizeable. A heretic for sure.

Hi JohnBy,
I know I could not listen to his yelling, overbearing, spiritual bully tactics.
I was mixed up in a cult many years ago, and suffered greatly by it! It's taken the Lord years for me to get past the emotional, and doctrinal poison that affected my walk with the Lord. And from what other witnesses have testified concerning their experiences with this man and his wife, marks them both as false teachers, actually.. heretics.
I've outlined on my blog why I and many other's have seen through this man and his teaching swill.
Thank you for confirming what my reactions were to his "you tube" teaching video's. I actually got headaches trying to discern what this man was saying.
Stay Away from this man and his wife at "Grace and Truth Ministries".
Oh, John, don't pay attention when some of the cult's followers start attacking you on a personal level. Cult's always work in that manner, especially to manipulate the immature babes in Christ. It is a "brainwashing" method.

I actually went to Newbury Park High School years ago with Dave when I lived in Thousand Oaks. All the guys used to call him "Tuck" and I can admit he was very unstable back then. He was constantly getting into fights and into the whole drug scene. I expected by now he was either dead or somebody's prison ### but never expected him to be working for a religious cult!
