OUR DENTAL LABORATORY WAS CONTACTED BY THIS COMPANY [protected] ‎ON FEBRUARY 23rd, 2011 SHORTLY AFTER OUR HOME FIRE THAT HAPPENED ON FEBRUARY 12, 2011. IN THE FIRES AFTERMATH THINGS WERE CRAZY AND I WAS TIRED OF DEALING WITH A YEARS WORTH OF UNSUCCESS OF A PAST CLIENTS COLLECTION. THEY CONTACTED US KNOWING THAT WE WERE A DENTAL LABORATORY AND SAID THAT THEY KNEW THERE WERE MANY DENTISTS OUT THERE THAT JUMP FROM DENTAL LAB TO DENTAL LAB RUNNING UP BILLS THEN DROPPING THE LAB FOR THE NEXT TO CONTINUE TO GET WORK WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT. DENTISTS DON'T SIGN CONTRACTS WITH LABORATORIES AND THEY CAN GO A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS WITH THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK ONLY TO LEAVE A DENTAL LAB HOLDING THE LOSS. I WAS AMAZED AT THEIR FAMILIARITY OF OUR BUSINESS AND THEY FAXED US (FROM: [protected]) A CONTRACT THAT STATED THEY WOULD ONLY TAKE 20% OF OUR COLLECTIONS ONCE COLLECTED WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING TO THEM UPFRONT. THEY ALSO ASKED TO ATTACH ANY DOCUMENTS ABOUT THE COLLECTION WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLIENT TO THEM AND THEY WOULD GO AFTER THEM. THEY CALLED ME BEFORE RECEIVING MY CONTRACT AND HAD TOLD ME THAT THEY DID RESEARCH AND HAD FOUND A PREVIOUSLY COLLECTION ON OUR CLIENT FROM ANOTHER DENTAL LABORATORY AND THAT THEY WERE CONFIDENT THEY COULD GET OUR MONEY FOR US AS WELL. AFTER ABOUT A MONTH I ALL OF A SUDDEN RECEIVED A CALL FROM MY OLD CLIENT WANTING TO SETTLE THE COLLECTION WITH ME PERSONALLY STATING FOR A SMALLER AMOUNT AND THAT HE TRIED TO GET THRU TO THEM BUT NO ONE WAS RETURNING HIS PHONE CALLS BUT I FELT LIKE I WOULD BE BREAKING A CONTRACT WITH THE COLLECTION COMPANY AND WAS AFRAID THAT THEY WOULD CONTINUE TO REPORT ON HIS CREDIT THAT HE HAD THE COLLECTION OUTSTANDING EVEN IF I RECEIVED THE MONEY SO I REFERRED HIM BACK TO THEM FOR THE COLLECTION. I ALSO CALLED THEM TO LET THEM KNOW THAT HE WAS CALLING ME AND ASKED THEM TO FOLLOW UP. THEY STATED THAT HE WAS NOT CALLING THEM AND THAT CLIENTS DO THAT TO TRY AND GET OUT PAYING AS MUCH OF A DEBT AND THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT HIM. MY CLIENT CONTINUED TO CALL ME FOR A FEW DAYS TO TRY AND SETTLE WITH ME DIRECTLY AND THEN I FINALLY CALLED HIM TO SETTLE AND HE SAID THAT HE HAD ALREADY BEGAN TO PAY THE COLLECTION COMPANY. I SAID GREAT AND THEN CALLED THEM AND THEY VERIFIED THE COLLECTION AND SAID HE WORKED OUT 3 INSTALLMENTS AND THAT AFTER THE FINAL INSTALLMENT WAS PAID IN ABOUT 6 TO 8 WEEKS WE WOULD RECEIVE OUR PAYMENT. IT HASN'T BEEN LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE RECEIVED THE MONEY BUT I THEN BEGAN RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM GOLDBERG AND BLOOM ASKING IF I HAD ANY DEBTS OUTSTANDING AND WOULD LIKE HELP IN COLLECTING? WEIRD I ALREADY HAVE A COLLECTION WITH YOU. OH OK GREAT THANK YOU. THEN A FEW WEEKS LATER ANOTHER CALL SAME SCAM SCENARIO. I WAS OBVIOUSLY SUSPICIOUS THAT A COMPANY THAT IS PROCESSING MY COLLECTION IS SOLICITING ME AGAIN. I LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND A NEGATIVE RESPONSE WITH THIS COMPANY FROM MANY PEOPLE AND THEN MY HEART SANK, I KNEW NOW THAT I HAD BEEN SCAMMED! I TRIED TO CALL THEIR PHONE NUMBER ONLY TO FIND IT DISCONNECTED NOW! I WAS RECENTLY CONTACTED AGAIN FROM THE SAME EAST COAST ACCENT SMOKEY VOICED LADY (YOU KNOW THE VOICE WHEN YOU HEAR IT, ITS UNMISTAKABLE!)NOW CALLING FROM JAILER, REED AND SLOAN 954.351.2192 6245 POWERLINE ROAD, MIAMI, FL 33349 ASKING ONCE AGAIN IF I NEEDED HELP WITH MY DENTAL LAB CLAIMS. I SAID YOU GUYS HAVE MY CLAIM AND I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID AND OF COURSE SHE DENIED EVEN KNOW ME. HERE IS TO HOPING THAT THIS FAMILY INCLUDING A NEWBORN THAT HAS BEEN THROUGH HELL THIS YEAR THAT THESE ANIMALS GET WHAT THEY DESERVE...

The same exact thing happened to the company I work for, we tried using them to see if they could collect some accounts that we were having a hard time with, and then I never heard from anyone there and neither had our customers. We were lucky that they were not able to get payment but scary to think they have the information. I made sure to let each account know that they are to deal with us directly and if anyone calls to collect other than myself, it is a scam. Keeping our fingers crossed!
