Complaint regarding misuse of credit card

Dear sir / madam,

My name is Mrs.Narmada Balaji.
I have a HDFC credit card and the card number is - [protected]

I have used my credit card in big bazaar, arcot road, Chennai against purchases on 18.01.2014.

I received a call on 20.01.2014 pretending to be HDFC call center regarding redeem points against my card and was asked some details such as card validity date and the three digit number available on the backside of the card.I unintentionally my mistake gave the information.
After sometime on the same day I received a message saying that ' Transaction declined against my credit card for 7999.00 in Hi tech solutions - TSPL.The transaction failed due to security reasons '.
Immediately I called the HDFC bank call center and blocked my card.
I feel that someone has tried to use a fake card with the details of my credit card and tried to do transaction but luckily it failed.
Even though no transaction happened, I request you to please have a look into this matter so that myself or anyone else for that matter gets cheated in future.

i received a missed call from the same number after using my credit card on PAYTM, when i called back no one answered, searched google found this helpful info .
wrote a mail to hdfc bank customer services and also informed it to them over the phone .

I received a call today at 5:00 in evening from the same no. He was telling that the card has been put on hold. and he was transferring the call to customer care to further process. I felt it to be fishy and I disconnected it.

oh good...last night i had reserved bus and train ticket in governement official sites
and slept.in the morning i saw a missed call in mobile at 2:06am..with
the same number u mentioned..I just searched for this number in google and got
this valuable information from you..thanks boss and thanks google :-

I too received the frigging call from the number "[protected]"

Who in the hell would monitor my banking activity. Bull ###. Dear HDFC, please take care of these and prevent these ###s from getting info from your trustworthy internet banking.
