On 4/12/2022 at 1:22 pm I took my 2018 Hyundai Sonata Se to be serviced due to a sudden and unexpected grinding sound coming from the brakes, this started night before. My car has 61,554 miles on it. I have taken it for required maintenance at the required time. The last service was approx. 3 mos ago give or take a week. the service was an oil change, tire rotation, multi point inspection, and a trunk latch recall repair. I believed that taking my car to the Hyundai Fontana Dealership for regular schedule Maintenace that it is the service mechanics responsibility to inform me that there are or aren't any issues requiring attention or repair immediately or near future. So if a mechanic does a tire rotation he should have seen that there was issues needing immediate attention or will soon need attention such as brakes that need to be replaced or the bolts that hold the tires on and you put the lug nuts on, I believe a mechanic should have noticed that one was broken and one was missing, unless it was his fault for not putting the tires back on properly cuz the tires hadnt been removed since the mechanic rotated them and now I had to pay $1569.73 because of the damage to the rotors, breaks, and the bolts. But now they sure informed me that I would be needing rear breaks as well. how could they see that now but not last time. Had I been informed on prev. maint. have caused the expensive damage to rotors etc., avoiding me financial hardship. responsibly I took my car for it scheduled maintenance, reimburse the cost I incurred.
they had the nerve to say well we dont know how you drive.
Desired outcome: a refund cost of damages due to the negligence and failure to inform me of that my car needed or would soon be needing brake replacement and that there were bolts broken or missing.
