After I received my vehicle back from being serviced by Ferndale Motors, I noticed a crack in the windscreen. I approached the company about it and their response was that it must have been there when the vehicle was booked in. Well, the crack was not there and I am sure that it happened during the service process. I took the vehicle to PG Autoglass for an assessment report which confirmed that the damage was fresh and it must have happened that same day. The vehicle was not in my possession for the duration of that day. There workshop manager is now running around trying to pass the buck. First he said that the damage was due to a pressure crack that existed before the service and then he said that it was not a pressure crack but that it must have been caused by a stone. The company refuses to pay for the damage. I feel that the damage should have been repaired by them. I have since handed the issue over to a legal practitioner and hopefully, Ferndale Motors will realize that it is wrong to cheat people out their hard earned money, as ultimately, this is what they did. They have lost a client and I will make sure that all the people that referred me to them will do the same.
