My elderly parents have had Erie homeowners insurance for a while. Their home in Franklin, Tn was damaged by a storm in June of 2023. No progress is being made on this house, and they have now been staying in Sonesta Suites for 5 months with still no progress being made. Erie's response to all things has been extremely slow, and basically appears that they do not care at all about the customers that pay for coverage with their company. One contractor on the home only partially completed the job, and took roughly $15,000 of the money given to them to use on other home projects they were working on. They have never returned to finish the job. The insurance company has had my parents, who are in their 80's, try to handle all of this their selves. They have been told multiple times they would have them back in their home by Thanksgiving, then Christmas... Needless to say nothing is happening.

I am beyond disappointed in Erie. At this point, I am looking at all options for a resolution. Some consideration and concern would be greatly appreciated.

Desired outcome: Restoration of home and to recoup financial losses from this ordeal.
