Consumer Alert for Diamond Productions – Angel Vendrell – Majestic Events
This alert is to notify all consumers who may have done business or conducting business with Diamond Productions of Edison, New Jersey and their owner Angel Vendrell regarding photography and/or DJ services for private events or weddings from [protected].
Mr. Vendrell who is now operating under an alias of “Ray Rivera” and who has also changed the name of his company on several occasions, most recently to “Majestic Events” located at 174 Lafayette Avenue, Edison, NJ, is now under investigation by the Better Business Bureau for 23 counts of consumer misrepresentation and failure to deliver items to his clients for services rendered.
Anyone who may have done business with Diamond Productions that seeks damages should first contact the Better Business Bureau and secondly contact an attorney who can provide further assistance with contacting the local authorities.

I am Angel Vendrell of Absolute Celebrations; I have been in this business for 17 plus years, starting with Diamond Productions. As my services grew, my company expanded and we went from a small "DJ" outfit to a full service Production company. During this time, we began new ventures with names that adequately captured who we are as a company and directly spoke to our evolving services.
I've also had business partners, whom I am no longer partnered with, as they have gone off to start their own ventures (e.g. Majestic Events & Diverse Weddings). Therefore, the appropriate resolutions of legally dissolving as one and beginning as independents in fairness to us all took place.
My business is built on relationships, integrity, and nothing but customer service. Without this, a DJ could last in this business. When you're talking about the price of full wedding packages, our customers don't just "sign up" without due diligence. As a proud business owner for many years, I know that no matter how well we may pull off a bridal show - word of mouth in this industry is key. It is the single most important component to what we do and we are always conscious of this with each and every function we service. Our bread and butter is our reputation - period. That said, we strive for perfection at every event. My communication with my customers along the way and as their event nears, is my number one priority. I follow up with all of my clients after the event is complete and over a thousand clients have happily written positive testimonials about our services.
The majority of my business is built on referrals alone with a small margin of marketing dollars going into bridal shows. When you are in the service industry, there will always be complaints of some nature and we focus on addressing these issues directly with our clients. Accordingly, I deal directly with my clients who feel we did not meet all of their expectations and we always come to a resolution. I provide real customers for my potential customers to speak to as proof. They watch real videos and see real photos of events we have serviced. There are no gimmicks or opportunities to mislead.
At this time, there are no outstanding issues and the twenty-three BBB complaints are false. Claims of this nature are easy to track and are accessible on a simple Google search. They are surely not confined to this complaint forum. I am eager to speak with anyone on this forum who feels they were not rendered the services they paid for and begin the communication process to resolve each and every dispute.

Angel and Chris Atwood screwed me out of my wedding video. I am almost married two years and still do not have it. They're now operating under absolute celebrations. I have contacted they so many times asking for where my video is and they either don't answer or just put Me off. Please do not give buisness to these people .
I was also screwed by Angel, my wife and I got completely lied to and screwed on several occasions by the not so Angel. He now does business as ANGEL RAY OR ANGEL RV and the business name that is being used is Absolute Celebrations. He over promises and everything will sound like a fairy tale wedding but then he sends idiot photographers such as his photographer Carlos Martinez who did not show up at all to our groom preps and then the pictures we did recieve were ###! BEWARE! This has been a nightmare!
In response to Aug 16, 2012 post. (Also screwed by Angel Vendrell) to clarify he now does business under the name Absolute Celebrations, aka aCelebs, also now going under new alias names such as Angel Ray, Ray Rivera.

I signed up with Angel and didn't receive all services we paid for. I wish I knew this before hand. I guess I will make 24 on the complaints list with the BBB.
