David Williams, who claims to be from the Houston area and now from the Austin area, is an extremely smooth talker, has an elaborate scam of getting women to give him money, and he needs to be stopped. He goes on Christian dating websites basically pretending to be someone he isn't. He took a lot of money from me, nearly ruined my credit, and I am now on a mission to make sure he never does this ever again to anyone! Other information I have on him is he says he's a telecommunications engineer, travels a lot overseas (where he claims to get stranded, have an accident, etc, and asks for money to get home), and preys on trusting and unsuspecting women on dating websites, will promise you the world, come off as a born again Christian, and will call you baby telling you are his everything and loves you with all his heart. He strung me along for about 4 months, took a lot of money from me, gained my credit card information, and now I'm reeling from the mess he has caused. He's back on the Christian Cafe dating site as funlake 454, uses the same pics of a nice-looking blonde hair, brown eyed man around 6-6'2", says his favorite reading material is the Bible (which blows me away!), and claims to make a lot of money. . .please, please, please be on the look-out for not only this man on Yahoo, Gmail, dating sites, and Messenger sites, but any man or woman who makes a situation sound too good to be true! Because 99.9% of the time, it is too good to be true. I have learned the hard way. Not only will you be left with a broken heart, but you'll be left broke w/o any money in the bank. I am a wise person and have never been sucked into anything like I have now. He will contact you, set up a date with you, break the date last minute, claim to have gotten a call to fly overseas (probably Africa), then suddenly need money because the airport authorities are holding his luggage, or he's in a car accident and can't pay for his hospital bill, continually tell you how much he loves you, can't wait to be with you, and may even promise you marriage. Then after you're broke, you'll stop hearing from him, and low and behold, he's back on a dating site using the same pics but just changes up his information just a little to keep everything "real" enough to seem legit. He also has an accent, 1/2 British 1/2 Australian. Please be careful!

I believe this same person has just contacted me yesterday. He uses the name David Williams. Has an Austin phone number but claims to be from Ireland. He said he's a private pilot with a 25 passenger plane at our local VERY SMALL airport. I have friends at the airport and checked. We do not house any 25 passenger Gulfstreams there. He also said he goes to Dallas all the time dancing but when I inquired about specifically where he was vague. Said he goes to the Springhill Suites downtown for wine. That hotel doesn't even have a restraurant...let alone a bar. I tried to meet him and he made and excuse why he couldn't meet. Face it...this guy isn't even in the states...let alone the town I live in.

Ask all kind of personal questions...how much my house is worth...my parents names...what I do for a living...etc. Luckily I was on to him early and lied about all of it. And the really stupid thing is...I used to work with the FBI and told him that...and he's still sticking to his story. I told him I had connections at the airport and he still insisted his plane was out there. Our runway won't even support that plane. He's not a rocket scientist...!
