Useless company
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
Company information:
IBD-Marketing
United States

I was promised a firm price of $19,000 within three months for the sale of my timeshare. It has now been two and a half months and I have heard nothing from IBD-Marketing. This is after paying a $1698 (advertising) fee. How do I get my money back? Or my timeshare sold for the quoted price.

We have a similar complaint to the ones listed here. I had sent them approximatley $900.00 with their promises to sell in as much as 30 days time. Never heard a word for close to a year. Than one day when I was at work my wife was contacted and told that the person who signed us up was no longer with their company and that they would refund our money and in turn re-write the contract for an additional $500.00 over and above the original contract price. That was over 4 months ago. There of course have been no offers forwarded. I called the number for the company that was given to us today and it rang and rang with
"No answer". I have since sent them an email suggesting a price reduction but after getting on this site, I will be surprised if they answer. We would be interested in pursuing a Class action suit!
