The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Just like everyone else, my fiance and I got ripped off by these people. We went to the cooking show thinking we would just leave with the free things offered. Nope, we were also duped into a package. They raised my payment from 65.00 a month for 13 months to 123.00 per month with out a warning and charged me 30.00 late fee. Then the next month I paid the 123.00 and they charged me another 30.00 saying I didnt pay the shortage fee from the month before. I told the it would be a cold day in hell before I will pay these fees and they call 5 or 6 time a week trying to get me to pay. I told them to get the payment back down where it should be and I would think about it. Now they are threatening to take me to court and garnish my wages and say they are going to send it out for collections. I was shocked after over a year with out any payment trouble they take advantage of me. Now they say I am moved to a higher interest rate for non payment. They never for filled the vacation they included with our cookware. Everytime I called they said they were booked up full and to check back the next time we can get off work to go. What a bunch of scam artists.

They also contacted my Ex wife that I have been divorced from for 18 years wanting her to pay the bill. The have even called my neighbor across the street. Now I read that their BBB Accreditation was revoked on 12/16/2010 you can read it on their web site BBB http://www.bbb.org/minnesota/business-reviews/financing/equitable-acceptance-in-golden-valley-mn-3943 People RUN from the ###. Avoid the at all costs. Beware. Do not even think about it just RUN.

I was scammed by this company this year. Luckily I did not buy the products but I was promised something I never received. I had my complaint sent to our local BBB so that hopefully the same thing won't happen to any one else. Hopefully they will not be asked back to our Home and Garden
shows either.

I totally agree. RUN from this company. We bought their cookware at the fair. It is the worse and so very expensive. One of the dumber purchases I've ever made. They stick and don't cook evenly. The pans are totally worthless for cooking. I could have gotten lots nicer stuff at about 1/10 the cost. RUN!
