This Siberian Cat Breeder is a rip off. She charges customers $100 just to walk into her home to see her kittens that are for sale. If you don't pay pal her the $100 then you cannot see the kittens. She is absolutely rude too!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I Dont Blamb You I Have Two Mainecoons I Baught Them Healthy And I Keep Them That Way. I Don't Allow Any Body In My House In Less I Know The Person And Are Verry Responsible And Loving With The Cats They Have And I Always Get Vet Profe And Make The Person Keeps There Cats In Clean Sanatery Conditions And Have No External Paricites Or Internal And Feline Lequma Free And Must Show Me All Vet Papers And Provide Me with A Phone Number I Can Call To Conform The Person Isn't Bringing In To My Kittys. Im Not a Breeder But My Cats Come First And My Breeders Are Verry Reputable As They Have Checked Me Out I Was Them As Whell. You Are A Verry Loving Reputable Breeder And I Wouldn't Worry About Buying My Next Cat Or Kitten Because You Love Your Kittys As I Love Mine. Good And Reputable I Don't Know But I Like The Way You Love Your Kittys And Protect Them. Some People Are Just Not Worth Our Time Or They Would Appreachate Your High Standerds As I Do I Have The Same My Self. God Bless You And I Wish More Breeders Where That Way.
By the way, at that young of an age for the kittens, only serious buyers seeing them is really for the best interest of the kittens and my cattery as I do not know what people can bring in and they are vulnerable. Serious buyers with a reservation amount of $100.00 down, are willing to ensure safety of the whole litter and are careful as to not stop by any other breeders place or adoption shelter before coming to my home because it is for their own best interest if the litter stay healthy. This is why I do not accept the $100.00 until I have made sure they are okay with my contracts and have asked me enough questions and filled out my application or answered all of my questions.
Hello Jon, when I feel the person is just "looking around" I do ask them to pay a reservation deposit to let me know they are serious. As said earlier, they do not have to choose which kitten. The amount goes towards any kitten. Also, to judge whether or not a breeder is reputable and whether or not you would like to buy from them is not done by seeing the kittens. Secondly, it is not like cars as kittens are living beings and should not be constantly exposed to anyone and everyone. Especially in a small home cattery, disease being brought into the home by visitors is a pretty common happening. We charge the lowest price compared to any other reputable breeders and consider ourselves to be doing a service in preserving the breed and helping other cat allergic cat lovers to be able to have a cat. We barely break even and are definitely not a greed operation. They also are sold with health guarantees so it is not how you make it seem. Necessary precautions must be made to keep our cattey safe. :) Thank you.
I don’t normally write reviews but, because I feel like Simply Siberians has been GROSSLY misrepresented by the complaint above, I decided to chime in. After all, smaller operations need the support of satisfied (or should I say ECSTATIC!) customers.
To be brief, I was a little over my head looking for a hypo-allergenic breed that would be the newest member of my and my girlfriend’s city apartment. After a little google searching Simply Siberians’ website stood out and the location was perfect for me. The owner made the whole experience easy for me. She was knowledgeable, informative, and laid out the whole buying procedure in a way that was upfront and made sense to a newbie like me.
Long story short we’ve had Missy for over a year and that little cuddle muffin is the queen of the house… sometimes I think she eats better than I do! I recommend this company to the many guest who come over and are thrilled to play with a wonderful cat who doesn’t make their eyes water.
Simply put: Simply Siberians is “paw”-esome!
Wow! I cannot believe this. I know exactly who this woman is because she made a big stink about the reservation necessary. She called me a couple of days ago and I told her that I only let serious buyers come over my cattery. Also, this is NOT a pet shop, this is my home. I am a very small hobby breeder. There are plenty of breeders who do not allow people to come over their cattery without at least a reservation deposit to ensure this person is serious in adopting a kitten from them. The reservation goes towards the total purchase price of the kitten. It is NOT a FEE and it can apply to ANY kitten. I did not trust this lady, NICOLE, who has the email bootsiesibs@aol.com, so I googled her and saw that she had ads out selling Siberians! She even asked me for my pedigrees over email. So at this point I decided not to sell to her and WAS rude to her.

She is actually a great breeder and she did not charge me a dime! I guess people who sound untrustworthy will be charged because she did mention that some people come and use her cattery like a petshop and just play with the kittens. I think that's understandable. I even offered to pay her a reservation and she told me not to because I may still be allergic to siberians. Anyhow my Ezra is the most beautiful loving sweet and sensitive siberian cat ever and I was allergic to regular cats. This breeder is truly my friend now because she is most helpful in everything I need. I will be emailing her this link!
