I had some problems with my HP laptop so I found this company online called RatchetInfoTech.us which promised to solve my issues over the phone claiming that their phone number [protected] is free of charged. I called them but they failed to help me and despite that and a fact that call was supposed to be free they charged me for $100. WHAT FOR? they didn’t do a crap for me!

This company is total fraud. Their Payment gateways got blocked and they ain't got no money to give salaries to their employees. Employees are still no doubt and it's India so they are desperate for highly paying jobs. I used to work there when I didn't have an option then I got hit by my inner morality and I left the job. To be honest we used to hack emails for money and then send popups through email to the browser with RATCHET INFOTECH's toll free on it. People would fall for it and we used to tell them a story(kinda bedtime story) to fool poor(knowledge wise) American people and make them loose their pockets. Just Imagine that you are not facing problem on your computer and you're in the middle of doing your work then suddenly a message pops up which you can't close(without task manager) and it forces you to call ratchet infotech. You call them and they politically tell you that only they could fix the problem by doing advanced and cleanup and instaling network security(LMFAO, this Device is a hardware tool that is used in enterprise level network setup and ratchet infotech installs it remotely on your computer by putting a TOTAL NOOB CLEANUP TOOL AKA DR. Ratchet that pushes ads into your browsers). This company hasn't given salaries to their employees for past 3 months and they are forced further to work otherwise they won't get their balance. THEIR PAYMENT GATEWAYS ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN BLOCKED BY BANKS DUE TO EXCESSIVE FRAUD CAHRGES COMPLAINTS. I ONCE POSTED A REVIEW AGAINST THEM WHEN I WAS IN INDIA AND THEY SOMEHOW CONTACTED ME TO SHUT ME UP WITH MONEY BUT I KNEW THAT THEY WERE TRICKING ME SO I DIDN'T GIVE TWO FAWKS.
Beware of this scam and Don't fall for it. The above posted information is true by all means.

Ratchet Infotech is a real company and I am in touch with in 2 years. I am taking services from ratchet and they have good experts. First time, I had also asked to refund my amount from ratchet and they refunded my amount without any issue. But my experience is good so I am happy...

Thanks for sharing your experience about Ratchet Infotech. I have also called when my Laptop was not working. But As you are saying to charged money and in return nothing did. I think this is wrong. My laptop was not working (too Slow, virus alert again and again, restart again and again, more) good so decide to need help from someone. I have found Ratchet Infotech and asked for the help. They said, we will provide the services but we charged $500/PA for the same. Firstly I refused but finally I had paid $500 and then they start work on my Laptop and cleaned my Laptop. They worked 3-4 hours on my laptop and after that when i had used my Laptop again. My Laptop was working very good and still like the same. I am very thankful for the same. I have take services from them 5 or 6 times again and again without pay single cent. So I am happy with Ratchet Infotech. I love it... Awesome...

I was recently contacted via an email scam that comes through my hotmail email account. The company, Ratchet Info Tech, freezes your computer while you are checking email from your microsoft account. It then sends a pop up in a new tab, which you can't close out of. The new tab shows a phone number [protected]) to call for technical support with a "Microsoft Certified" stamp so the user believes it is from Microsoft Security Updates. Once you call the number, the Indian national tells you that your computer is in danger of attack as your network security or modem is not up to date on security. They say that strange IP addresses are breaking into your network and tell you they can update your security for a fee of $70-80 (no specific amount was mentioned). Next they ask you for control of your computer remotely and begin "cleaning" and "updating" your software. They download anti-malware and other programs which users can download for free, but they charge you for it. They keep you on the phone for hours trying to convince you that they need to continue "cleaning" and "updating" your Windows software, adding extra charges along the way. I was charged $100 for their "services", when I realized too late that I had been duped. There was nothing wrong with my computer to begin with until they intentionally froze it. I did notify the "floor manager" of the company that I was unhappy with their "service" as they are a scam, and that I notified Microsoft Corporation of their company and the scam. The man was enraged and yelled at me over the phone, confirming they had no customer service skills or knowledge. I see a few reviews of this company online, but most are negative, noting it is a scam. I would like confirmation in case I need to prove to my CC company that the charge was made by a fraudulent company.

There are people capable of doing things and then there are people capable of just blaming everything else but not willing to look into the mirror to identify the one person responsible for their being a loser in life.

Great that you took our valuable time and mindless efforts to go ahead and post such valuable review of you blowing your own trumpet and guiding people in US and Canada towards a better world. However what i feel is tat this is a desperate effort of an ex-employee to harm the reputation of the organisation, he could not flourish with. I mean you did not even mention our name fearing IF you lose your current job (which you might pretty soon with that kind of attitude towards an employer), this review might prevent the firm from taking you back. There is a mere possibility as i do not think this firm would be reading this review anyhow, I am a regular blogger for tech issues and i have found such reviews about this firm which equal to almost none. So i dont know if they will be concerned or not. But i am sorry to say, this review gives a bad picture about you and not the mentioned company,

As quoted by you, your desperate efforts to get a job brought you in the firm, I thought anyone would respect such employer if not love! But no you are not genuine enough to talk about the genuineness of a firm that gave you bread and butter! you did not know about scam? Come on dude! Desperation kills conscience and if you actually did not know what job you are applying for, you seem the dumbest person living. Of course second to the guy who hired a pathetic human waste like you, you were TRAINED? Lovely! And the holy grail of human intelligence did not realize what he was getting into. Hats off to you and your innocence.

And then you talk about atmosphere of the organisation? In your words Agents or "technicians" who can barely speak english have just have to make sales and show performance. With the written english displayed herein and also your efficiency to lie, you would have easily scammed dozens on daily basis (Earning 500INR for each lie! Lying over the web to hide our incompetency would get you not even a penny :-(...)

With your non technical background you tried to help all the customers? I pray for all the messed up machines! The things that i notice here you standing for and that forced you to leave this job and look for new one is that you could not have been able to survive due to your own shortcomings and i am unsure on whether you might have left or kicked out (Share your thoughts).

At least you researched that the company you could not fit in has been declared fraudulent b banks (If that acually is true), however do complete the research with the reason that why its still operating? Do you think banks are foolish to declare companies fraud and still support their scams? you did not know what job you were applying for and now you want all to believe that you know the inside stories of banks and their operations! LOL!

Looking at their mods operand i might not be best person to discuss if the should be called or not but i see you cannot be trusted with anything and i guess your current employer should reconsider your association with them. It breaks my heart to see that people like you exist as a plague in society, I am sure man would have been overlooked and you would have been hired b this organisation. Someone who actually needed the job and was capable of doing it would have been a far better choice with bad english too.

Hi all there

I wish to inform you all in the US and Canada about this scam company Called Ratchet Infotech based in Chandigarh, and Gurgaon in India.

I worked in the company for a few months (since I didn't know about the scam in the beginning). I was looking for a job desperately and stumbled upon this company as it is located in the IT park, Chandigarh where most other reputed companies are also located. We were given "training" a few days where we were taught how to resolve technical issues of the customers on the phone. We were taught how to take remote access of the callers computer and do all sorts of things inside their computers just so they become desperate and wiling to pay us.

I found it highly unethical to say the least. I still wonder how such an unlawful company be allowed to work in first place.!

Well, the atmosphere inside the organisation is also very unprofessional. Agents or "technicians" who can barely speak english have just have to make sales and show performance. (they get a 500INR incentive on a 500$ sale).

With my non-technical background, I tried to help all the customers while i was there since I couldn't abide by this unlawful scam. But all the things that I stand for eventually made me leave the company and find another job. I'm writing this after a few weeks of getting the new job since I would think about how gullible callers were made to pay by sheer fraudulent ways over the phone.

Despite having been declared fraudulent by many banks overseas, their payments still go through (why?).

Request you all out there not to call them ever and not give them access to your computer.

A request to the US and Canadians who keep calling them- Kindly make yourself a little computer savvy and knowledgeable. These people rely on your lack of computer skills to keep this scam going.

I called them about an issue I was having logging into my email account. I spoke with a guy called Kumar who spoke in an incredibly fast way and had a bullying manner. He told me that my computer is infected with malware and spyware despite my having McAfee and Malwarebytes anti virus programs. So I e-mailed McAfee to let them know that someone out there thinks that their product is failing me. I privately thought he was a scammer and we hung up but not before he had put my computer in "safe mode." We had to call back several times (Kumar was unavailble) to get help but they were unable to help getting my computer out of safe mode. Luckily my son is a computer person and was able to restore my computer. I don't believe that my computer is infected but he wanted to charge me $499 to "repair" my computer.

This company is a complete scam preying on unexperienced users who are having problems with computers. High pressure tactics are used to extort money. When my mother asked them to release control of her computer they refused and would not let her shut down so she just hit the power button.

Too bad they are hiding overseas as they would all be charged with fraud in North America by now.
