I have been using this company to purchase products online and this company provides cash back if purchase the products online via them. So long as your cash back amount is small they are ok but when the cash back amount is relatively big say > 30 GBP they track your cash back and then deny the same after couple of months. They started doing that very frequently with my account. When I asked them the reason for the denial when I had always given them all the genuine order details included the credit card from where the payment was made online they refuse to give any reason. They say because of Data protection they cannot disclose anything relating to my order which is to be honest a ridiculous answer. Having communicated further with them on this I found out that this company actually claims the cash back from the merchant which you are entitled to, but does not pay to the customer (like me) who is entitled to this cash back amount. That way they keep their company floating and make a lot of money. When I found this I was furious and wrote them an email to stop defrauding customers. When I wrote this to them they immediately blocked my account and took away all the cash back to thet une of 200 GBP which I was due from various merchants. This is how the company is engaginz itself in fradulent activities. Would highly appreciate if anyone else has had the same fate to tell me the next steps one should follow against them. If you are using this company for the first time or heard about this for the first time AVOID IT>

All going well, even got friends and family to buy things on my account, then one day I tried to log in, it's been blocked. Tried to get it unlocked for a week now, I'm trying to make sense of their emails.
Something's going on, it was all tracking fine so the money's going somewhere. . . .

I have made three attempts to retrieve unpaid cash back via the company's obstructive complaints'' system. According to Quidco everything should flow without problem and this money should have been paid to me automatically. Guess what? No cash has been forthcoming and not a single reply so far to my problem. THIS IS A NO GO COMPANY! The future of shopping? I don't think so!

They'd upgrade their website as on certain devices like BlackBerry Leap has been permanently blocked!

I know this is an old post but look at all those posts made on 23rd of Feb, 2012 from people sticking up for Quidco. They have all been made on the same day. Clearly trying to silence this customer who has been treated badly and blatantly made by staff. All my cashback claims at Quidco have been denied so they are still up to no good now :(

I have to agree, all the small amounts seem to track - except the odd 3p claim? then when it comes to insurance - £26, Microsoft - £96, Special offers - £10 (if you spend a certain amount with a certain seller)... (more than one occasion..
All above tracked ok, even had chat copies where i was told all was going as expected as I was concerned with missing amounts & incorrect amounts.
It seems that the excuses start coming, you dig deeper giving all information, screenshots of purchases, screenshots of quidco links, screenshoys or emails of invoices & delivery notes, 3, 4, 5, 6 months or longer later then nothing. Then eventually its, well if the supplier decides not to pay us, we can't pay you. Yet when you ask for a copy of the correspondence with supplier - nope sorry - can't do that, its confidential with supplier.
Tomorrow I will be phoning one of the companies to make a specific complaint as I purchased via quidco with a chat correspondence from quidco - linking the actual supplier page for me, which i followed and completed, even had an email saying it was being tracked from quidco... so my question will be did quidco actually receive the referral fee, it will be interesting if the company does give the information.
i can't take anything out of my quidco account - strange as last week it was showing a nice chunk, now its all back to tracking - i thought once confirmed and showing in your pay me amount it was yours...not now its crazy how they get away with it...
I wish I stuck with topcashback, they never failed payouts ever - just their rates were lower - wish i hadn't been greedy and stuck with lower which i knew i'd receive.

Before you criticise Quidco, you need to double check that the 'Quidco' that contacts you asking for bank details for a payment is the genuine one; I have had an email asking me for details so I can receive cash back...and the items referred to I have never bought & in fact I hadn't used Quidco ever (altho was registered)! Their actual email address was suspicious I reported the email to Quidco's phishing department.

I posted on Trustpilot about Quidco being rubbish and my post was removed after a complaint by the company. Funny how all the posts gushing about how wonderful they are have not been removed but when it's an adverse comment about how dodgy their operation seems to be then it gets pulled!

I've just been declined a £58 cash back from three for pitiful reason, though being tracked, and the only thing quidco has done is being sorry. you know what? I don't care about you being sorry! and that's not the only declined cashback in my four years life with these scammers. now I've closed all my accounts with cashback websites, if retailers want me to buy anything from them just lower the price.

Same here, was promised a 4£ cashback from magazine.co.uk and they just declined the cashback, for no reasons! You would think you could ask at least for a reason but none was given, other than "in the small print, you can read that cashback is not guranteed". Theres no way of raising a claim wi that merchant either which is quite unusual for quidco. If only users were told this on the merchant page... In the past they always been fair to me. After talking to customer services and their quality teams Without success, im now going to raise it with the FSA ombudsman, im very disappointed...

I have heard many complaints about this company and I opted out of doing business with them when I read the complaints. Should Thomas Cook not follow up on this complaint, it is very bad exposure for their business.

I've not had my cashback either and raised a claim on Feb 7th and have been given the runaround with a series of "automated" answers...one claiming Thomas Cook normally has several MONTHS delay in giving cashback - something which never featured in the small print before I purchased the holiday. I am disgusted with the way Quidco have given lip service to my claim, leaving me hangingin limbo for my £74 claim and I feel that they have stolen from me. I will not let this matter drop and demand my money back. My next letter will be to the media.

I took out Sky TV through Quidco, no payment. I took too long to chase it up (purchase was in January) - their website say any queries have to be submitted within seven weeks of the deal, so even though they owe me £100+ I can't get the money from them. I'd bet they've been paid though.

This is strange - Quidco post a response on 23rd Feb and then Four other people post on the SAME DAY to agree with Quidco.
How strange is that!
FACT - Quidco and Sky have not paid out. This is evidence of fraud!

I've not had any cashback either. I took out a broadband and telephone package with Sky on the promise of £100 cashback. Both Sky and Quidco offered incentives but I haven't received any. Sky state the contract was made through Quidco but Quidco are refusing to pay 'as the commission for the referral has been paid elsewhere'. I haven't had any cashback whatsoever and the only companies I've had dealings with were Quidco and Sky. I will be taking this matter further as Quidco should not be allowed to get away with offering cashback then not giving it back to genuine honest customers. This is fraudulent activity.

I feel very hard done by and will not be using Quidco again if this is what it is like!

Well, I'm in the same boat. No cash back given to me as yet from Quidco. Some lame excuse about me needing to chase them up for it by week 7, well I was never advised of this at all. Their own website give stats that indicate it could take several months before cash back is received. I have put in an official complaint and await their response, but so far it's not good and I don't feel this is a company I could trust. I doubt once my issue with them is finalised that I would ever use this company again and certainly would never recommend them to anyone based on my experience so far. Certainly there are positive and negative reviews on this thread so maybe it does work out for some people, I just hope Quidco do the right thing by me or its off to the ombudsman and watchdog I go!

Hi, I am very sorry to hear of the experience you have had as this is the last thing we want, and I can assure you that Quidco is in no way fraudulent. We are voluntarily regulated by the FSA and we have over 1.8 million members who regularly save hundreds and thousands of pounds with us every year.

If your account has been blocked as you say, there is usually a reason for this. The only reason an account would be blocked by ourselves is if you have been in breach of section 8 of our Account Holder Agreement, which you can find here: http://www.quidco.com/quidco-account-holder-agreement/.

We do also always obtain a reason from the retailer when cashback is declined, so it concerns me that you are saying you haven't had a response. We do aim to resolve 100% of cashback claims, whether the final response is positive or negative.

If you could send details of your account to us, I will be happy to check these details for you. Can you please send details of your account to juliewells@quidco.com and we can certainly try to resolve this complaint for you.

Many thanks,

Rosie

yet another person moaning about a great company who look after their users, in my experience if they have blokced your account chances are it was you who was carrying out the fraudulant activities.

Unless you can elaborate more or provide proof making such statements is slander

Disagree as well. All of my purchases have been perfectly fine and if there is ever an issue it's because I've not done something right. If you do something like return an item or cancel the order it will obviously not be paid or maybe you didn't read the terms on the page. Either way I don't think quidco is to blame when companies decline cashback or fail to pay it.

Disagree too. Quidco have never, not tracked anything and on the rare occasion that there is an error their customer service is great and always resolved the tracking.
