Olympic Pools - Whitehall, PA / Pool Filter

I went to Olympic pools in Macungie, PA to find out about a filter for my seasonal above ground pool. The person who was "assisting" us was rude and nasty. He sold us a filter for the pool, but he later told us that it would not work for this pool. When we got home with the filter, it was not assembled, it was missing hardware to assemble it and there were no directions or warranty information.

I decided to return the pool filter to this store. When I got there, the man behind the counter stated that they do not take returns at all. The receipt said that, but right below it is also stated that the receipt must be presented for a refund. He was rude and nasty and actually waved his finger in my face while raising his voice to me. I asked if he was the owner and he said, "Yes! I am!".

He offered to put the filter together and have me pick it up several days later, but he made sure he talked to me as if I was a child of his. He told me they were open all day to pick it up, but when I finished work today, they were already closed.

This man was completely unreasonable. I told him I wanted a refund because I did not receive all that I paid for. He would not hear of it.

Let the buyer beware. This is not a friendly or reasonable business person. He is keeping my money (almost $400) and refuses to take this equipment back. It was never used or even assembled. He has no reason to keep my money except that he was happy to get over on another person in the community.
