No honor!
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 11 votes
I received a free cruise vacation package from my timeshare company from the company Spirit Incentives. I submitted all of the information as per Spirit Incentives request. This included the $100.00 refundable deposit and dates of travel. I specifically went over the dates of travel with one of their representatives via phone call in December 2006. I submitted the dates via USPS of that same year. I waited for a period of time then I called to make sure they received my info. They told me they didn't, so I re-sent the copy of the dates via USPS certified mail (the green form) in 2007. It is now close to the travel dates and I decided to call because I had not heard from them. Well, they informed me they didn't received the 2nd copy of the dates (that I sent Certified Mail) and that they are not going to honor my vacation because I didn't have a return receipt with a signature saying that they received it. I have my copy of the certified receipt with the date I sent it. Not only are they calling me a liar but the USPS a liar as well. I was looking forward to this vacation as I was bringing a friend along for her birthday and much needed rest. I would not suggest doing business with them. They do not honor their agreements.

My husband and I went to a Time Share presentation in Atlanta, Ga. that was supposed to last 1.5 hrs. and ended up being about 4 hrs. Long story short we traveled 2 hrs. there and 2 hrs. back with a promise of a free 2 night vacation. We have already been denied 2 of the dates we requested, first one not meeting their requirements and the second one for lack of accomadations. We feel they are giving us the run a round and have no intentions of honoring their promise. We are requesting they proceed with the next requested date but do not believe they will follow thru as promised. We feel this is a scam and should be stopped. Spirit Incentives should be put out of business.
