Melissa Brault review: Sent deposit, story keeps changing 5

I sent this woman a $500 deposit for a male Canadian Sphynx Kitten through Washington Mutual. I requested a receipt and a contract and its been a month and 1 day of her making promises to send them and excuses why she hasn't and she has not done so. I have all her email correspondence proving everything and showing how many times she contradicted herself throughout. She tried to have the additional $1100 sent two months early and I refused to send that without the contract she promised. It was at this time I had a major red flag go up because no breeder asks for the full amount two months before shipping a kitten. Today it turns out that she cant even remember how old the kitten is. Today she said the birthdate on the ad was incorrect. Currently according to her ad the kitten is 6 weeks and she is now saying she is shipping the kitten in 2 weeks, even though she said previously she wouldn't ship a kitten until it was 12-16 weeks old. She also tried to tell me today the kitten is 8 weeks old which is incorrect according to the birthdate on her ad which I saved even though now she's changing it to two weeks earlier to suit her. I requested a refund for my deposit, because we have no contract. She told me you can take me to court and you'll get nothing. She went ahead and said she spoke to a police officer and sent me pictures of the so called "8 week old kitten" according to her date change today, the kitten in the pictures is no more than 4 weeks old. I breed these cats, I compared them to cats from my biggest litter and the kittens are not 8 weeks old. She said she only had a single male and female that she bred and she was a small time breeder and today she said she messed up on the birthdate because she has 3 litters of kittens, contradicting what she said previously. Previously, when I requested pictures of the kitten she sent me pictures of two different kittens on 2 different dates and when I asked which one I was buying and which one I put a deposit on, she would not respond. In her email correspondence she contradicts herself every other sentence. I can tell she's lying because she changes her story every email. I filed a police report with the quebec police department, they said I need to file a report with my local police department which I will do today or tomorrow. I have filed reports with scamwatch, the FBI, the FTC and I will be contacting all pet sale sites to warn them also. This woman is very bad news and I wouldn't be surprised if she was doing this to multiple people at the same time, collecting deposits and never actually shipping the kittens. This kitten was supposed to be my son's Christmas present and now I'm $500 out of pocket with no kitten. I did my research prior to putting the deposit on the kitten and did not find any negative reviews, thank goodness, I've posted about her so that she won't be able to do this to someone else again.
