I called to get some prices because my internet was slow. When I called a man answered the phone and had a thick British accent, he was very rude right off the bat! I asked for his name and he asked if I had a hearing problem!I replied no I just can't hear you and he finely told me his name was "Lee". He seemed to be very upset I asked him if I upset him in some way and he told me I should not be using his toll free number and if i had anymore annoying questions to just email instead. I told him I saw no other number or I would not have used that one listed! He replied by letting me the "American" how ignorant I am about toll free numbers and when I tried to politely end the phone call he just keep on yelling so I hung up. I don't mind someone cashing in on the American dream but to call me a stupid American for using a toll free number is a little over the top!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I Wou heresld like to say I agree!I called the 800 number to get some info I didn't see any other number and the guy on the other line call me stupid and started cussing me out and said terrible obscenities to the person in the background. I told him I was going to complain to the Better Business Bureau because I felt this behavior was uncalled for and he told me he ruined my life I'm assuming That's what he told American girl! one has nothing to do with this crazy man.you'd have to be nuts if you can see he wrote a complaint Below
Wow! That's so funny I called the same company, the man I talked to was incredibly rude because I called the 800 number. I'm not sure I think he was drunk because he was yelling obscenities at someone in the background.I told him under no uncertain terms would I rent from someone like that it went from bad to worse. I absolutely under no uncertain terms would have anything to do with this person or this company he seems like the kind of person that would lie to ruin your life!
I wanted to write to say that American Girl has nothing to do with the services of this company.
Here is a woman who is not even interested in using the services of this company, and yet she
has the gall to write a complaint in order to detract from the excellent reputation for this man's
business.
If I were American Girl, I would post a comment in order to retract her statement as soon as possible. She is running a business, yet has nothing to do with any sort of business dealings with Mr. Wilkins company, other than to solicit her services.
Maybe American Girl should try to own some vacation rentals, rather than being a housekeeper, and let her see what excellent service Mr. Wilkins gives to his customers.
