We purchase a house in 2006 and in 2008 we apply for the loan modification program, they had us on trial pmts for 3 to 4 months and they did this 3 times... They are still unable to help us... I received a letter 3 wks ago stating that we dont qualify for the making home affordable program because of exessive forbearance that they will see if they can qualify us for the traditional modification (inhouse program) they had me like this for the past 2 yrs now I have not been making the pmts for the mortgage for about 1 yr now... Quite honestly they do not care for their customers they are greedy. Everytime I ask whos the private investor they cant provide me with such simple information, when I asked whos the ceo to write a complaint letter same ans. Cant provide that info is private, when I asked whos the executors name I mean this people are trained so dumb that they think that we customers cant get information online... Im ready to write letters to the governor, senator, congressman, and evern the president...!
Today I called aurora to check stat on my mod and I was told that they are requesting new docs... I mean who are they kidding! Please we all need to get together do something go to a news channel or something public...! Im not giving up thats for sure!

Aurora is not a Loan provider you want to deal with. They have no interest in modifying any loans. These people are bullying and cannot be trusted. After 10 months of making trial payments with them, they denied us. We took it to an attorney and now is in the process of taking legal actions.
The best way to deal with Aurora is thru an attorney, not a Loan Mod agency. You'd probably have to pay a little more, but spare you a lot of emotional distress later dealing with Aurora.

You were reading a complaint about Aurora Loan Services.

Filing a new complaint about
I fell behind on my mortgage with Aurora Loan Services and then was offered a temporary modification plan for 6 months. After making payments on this modification for 3 months, Aurora Loans went behind my back and in the meantime sold my house without ever notifying me and gave me 3 days to move out. After contacting Tom Winn's office Deborah Knoll told me that I cannot speak to me and would have someone look into it and get back to me. I got a call back from a Kyle Giem who then told me he was going review the loan modification and that my move out date was extended to June 25, 2010. After reassuring me over and over that my move out was June 25, 2010, their attorney went ahead and filed an eviction and serving with papers. I went to the emergency room after suffering chest pain and having a panic attack of being notified I am now being evicted when all along I was told I had until June 25, 2010 and that they were still working on a loan modification. After receiving the eviction I called Craig Wildrick and he basically doesn't care and neither does Kyle Giem. He had Deborah Knoll get an attorney Justin and have him threaten me not to contact Aurora Loan Services, but to instead just deal with him and he basically told me that Aurora Loan Services is not going to work on a loan modification and that they no longer have the paperwork I submitted to Kyle to be reviewed for a loan modification. I have proof that he received it. And Deborah Knoll is a lying two faced person. She tells you one thing and then hangs up the phone and has attorneys threaten you. Basically stay away from Aurora Loan Services. They are not in the business of helping you. They are in the business of ripping people off and sending people to the hospital waiting for them to die and take their money.

I have been reading quite a few of the reports on here and so have my attorneys. They advised me to post and ask if anyone might be interested in joining my lawsuit as a class action suit.

My story: I originally requested a modification in mid-2008 and was denied. When I lost my job in September 2008, I contacted them and told them I was concerned about being able to afford making my payments and wanted to find out what options were available to me. They said they could modify my loan based on need, but I could only demonstrate need if I didn't make my payment for 3 months. So, I stopped paying.

They never once attempted to contact me. When I received the Notice of Trustee Sale in March, I contacted them and agreed to enter into a forbearance agreement, requiring me to make four payments on time, in an amount exceeding my original monthly payment. I signed the forbearance agreement and sent all payments via either overnight or certified mail, so that I had proof I had sent them timely.

My last payment was due July 10, and I was still in the process of exchanging paperwork to help them determine what workout we could arrange. Like many other stories on this site, I sent them what they requested, then they told me it wasn't sufficient, and to send three additional documents. I then received a letter dated July 24, postmarked July 27, informing me that, due to not receiving ONE piece of paper, they would not be able to work with me, and would pursue other actions. I had been out of town, and didn't see this letter until August 2. On the 3rd, a real estate agent came knocking on my door to offer me "cash for keys".

Floored, I started researching and discovered that my home had been sold on July 30, only 20 days after making my final payment!

Here are some of the deficiencies we have found so far:

-required affidavits not filed with paperwork filed with county

-substitution of trustee filed a month AFTER the trustee filed a Notice of Trustee Sale (meaning they didn't have any authority to act as trustee at the time the notice was filed)

-breach of contract

-protocol not followed in starting the process all over again - if I had, indeed, been in default (as they are trying to claim), they were required to file a new Notice of Default, and start the process again

If you have any questions about your own situation, please feel free to contact me, and I will answer to the best of my ability. I am not an attorney, and I encourage you to find an attorney willing to give you a free consultation. And, if you find your situation similar to mine, please consider joining with me in this class action suit! You can contact me at: scalesofladyjustice@yahoo.com

We have tried repeatedly to work with Aurora Loan Services but they are more interested in foreclosures, bankruptcy, and short sales. We are trying to keep our home but they just will not work with anyone. We were recently in the UPS Program but when I sent the documentation in they wanted they waited months and then told me I sent the wrong documentation, hey a phone call, letter? We then were told to come up with $9800 now or face foreclosure proceedings. Really? We are unemployed and just started Social Security, if I had $9800 laying around I would not have applied for a modification or the ups program. This company needs to be investetigated fully. They also need better communication among their agents, no one ever seems to know what the other department is doing. Watch out do not get involved with AURORA LOAN SERVICES. I am also going to E-Mail Obama about the company and see if he has people who will look into it.

Aurora Loan services is the worst company I have ever worked with. You can never actually speak to a "real" employee. Every call is fielded by a customer service agency. No issues are actually addressed. When you file a complaint, they send you a letter.
I was recently "approved" for a loan modification with these terms:
-same interest rate of 7.5%
-monthly payments lowered by $30
-$800 added on to the total loan
How can this honestly be labeled a "modification" ?

I had a similar experience with them and they even went so far as to tell us to cash in our small retirement accounts and we would get the modification so we did and they were full of ###! We then realized they were a scam and backed out of trying to do anything. What can we all do as a team?
They actually call my house every month if they have not received the payment by the first and we have never paid late ever.

has enyone found a solution or help with My Aurora Loan services?
I submited my Loan Modification back in Feb. 2010 and 3 months later they came back stating that my doc. were never received.
I sent them a copy of the fax report, where it shows date time and number of pages received and the confirmation I received from the Lost Mitigation departmen. I waited 8 months to receive a letter that the loan modification was denied due to imcomplete package. I called them an asked them to reopen the case and they did, they confirm the got all docs. but 4 months later a got a LETTER STATING - DECLINED.
Can some one help me? Please write me back to german_apex@yahoo.com. Thanks,

I am also having the same problem but for my husband and i it has been going on a year and 1/2 and they also have been asking for the same documents over and over. We are constantly calling and checking status they tell us the same thing over and over. We are so tired trying to work with this company. It is ridiculous it's been over a year and it still has not been assigned to an underwriter i really think they are giving us the run around and stalling for time we don't know why but it's for a reason to benefit them. We hired an attorney and got screwed by them as well... So at this time it is a waiting game...

Same thing recently happened to us with Aurora. Every Lawyer I have spoken to said everything they have done is against the law however if you don't have the money to fight it you are pretty much out of luck. So I decided to file class action suit against them that way if I can get enough people that this has happened to involved we can fight this company. It needs to stop before more people loose there homes. If interested pls email me at youngs3@repsrv.com.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ If enough people complain maybe they will be held accountable for their awful business practices.
