The electric golf cart I purchased is not as indicated in their ad on EBAy. The ad says "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed". The cart does not perform as promised in the ad. (It actually doesn't appear to be the same cart as in the ad, upon closer inspection.)The company will not honor their ad - just say they have a "no return" policy.

I found them on Ebay but purchased directly since they are a local company. In fact their Ebay page does say no returns, but its down at the bottom of the order page (which I didn't use). Their website does not say anything about no returns.

The company refuses to fix it or let me return it.

I have had problems since 9 months After 20 plus calls no help. No one answers the phone and if you are luckily and someone answers they will take your phone number and promise that someone will call and that never happens Stay away or you will be sorry

I have been dealing Green Ray Vehicles for the past 3 or 4 months. I have a Green Ray Ace Item No. RC1PRO . My correspondence has been with Veronica and Patrick. I explained that my cart pulls to the left and I have tried everything to correct this condition. When I put the cart on a stand and start the cart the right wheel begins turning before the left. All I get back from GRV is one wheel is smaller than the other and they do not have replacement wheels for my cart or it is a worn gear or the front wheel is not set properly.
None of these conditions are correct. I asked if there are potentiometers in the control box that set the speed of each wheel to which I do not get an answer. I ask if they have a replacement control box that may solve this issue to which I do not get an answer.
Patrick was very quick to phone but all I get is lip service and no results. Veronica is just in my mind incompetent. I asked if they have a technician that I could speak with and do not get an answer.
I like my cart - I play mountain golf courses and except for the pull to the left it functions very well.
I do not recommend anyone getting a GRV as their support service is very poor to none existent. There are other carts on the market that function well and the support service hopefully is much better.

I bought one of these in 2011 and from the start it failed, the plastic drive gears keep shredding. I have installed two new gear boxes and the same thing, so far it has gone through 3 gear boxes (two left, one right) and I have gotten less than a dozen rounds out of it. I asked their customer service rep where I can get the plastic gears and got no response (but they will sell me more gearboxes at $75-80 a piece). Today they have the nerve to send me an email saying they noted my problem and want to sell me a new one. No thanks. If they had any decency they would replace the defective model. As I see it their version of customer service is if it breaks they will sell you a new one.

I have had a GRV trolley for 2 seasons (2011 model?) and have had a couple problems which were primarily attributable to the manufacturer. However, I received tremendous interest and response from GRV to assist with my problem (wheels), and the company made everything fine with replacement wheels at no cost to me. Since, until recently I have experienced nothing more than delighted satisfaction with my Green Ray vehicle. This is with 2 seasons of pretty constant use (2-3 times weekly).
Recently the tread on one of the rear wheels disintegrated. I notified the GRV company which advised me immediately that the wheel inventory was -0-, but it was anticipated that a shipment would arrive in early October. I was able to continue to use the trolley with use of Gorilla glue and electric tape to temporarily repair the wheel. Sure enough, I received an email from GRV today advising me that the wheels had arrived. I am presently in process of ordering a replacement wheel.
During my 2 years with a GRV trolley, I have experienced a couple of problems which have been far outweighed by my satisfaction with the trolley's performance during that period. Coupled with that satisfaction I have also experienced prompt and helpful responses from GRV.

In summary, I strongly endorse both product and seller, GRV., and would recommend it and its product to others. I find that a bit of patience and self-help will provide a user with great satisfaction with a GRV trolley, and the GRV management does respond quickly to assist with any problems.

I too had the pleasure of talking to Tom. I had place a order for a new 2011 remote cart. A few days later I found out that I had a health issue and the doctor did not recommend me to walk the course until everything is cleared up. I canceled the order via Tom and he wished me well and also gave me a 10% discount when I was ready to purchase. I thought that was real customer service at its best. I would recommend dealing with the company to anyone. He also said the discount was good for any of my friends. Some people in this world are just their to make trouble or to stir the pot. No matter what a company would do for them, they will never be satisfied.

I received my trolley Wendsday, used it Friday for the fist time and it performed as adververtised. I've owned a Sunmoutain Espeed electric and my buddy has a Cart Tek remote trolley. Both work as advertised each having their own flaws. You must understand these are not 10 thousand dollar instruments they have some crude designes too acomplish the task at hand. After you've practiced and polish and understand their characteristics you will enjoy golf like never before. I had the pleasure to talk to Tom directly when buying my cart and found him to be knowledgeable and professional as a matter of fact I will be buying a second cart for my wife.

Although some of the comments above may not look good for the company, I have spoken with Tom Knickerbocker and he seems like he really cares about the company, and I will order one of the remote carts. I feel that if something is wrong they will make it right and to my satisfaction. You know in this world you can't please everybody, God can't even do that. But as long as you please most of the people when running a business you are doing well.

Hi Mr. Mian,

It's unfortunate we have to publicly display our case, despite our many offerings to help you beyond our warranty and service policies. Keep in mind, our remote controlled model has a range; once it goes out of that range, you risk the possibility of losing control!
1. The caddy you sent in to us was destroyed, and significant alterations were done to the frame
2. You warranty has been up for almost 10 months. Even if it was still valid, the caddy you sent into us DOES NOT qualify for that. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF HIS CADDY THAT WAS SENT IN TO US)
3. Despite your constant threats to sue us, to commit libel and falsifying emails to our customer service department, we offered you an incredibly generous, significant discount on a new model.

Mr. Mian's purpose here is to do nothing but cause damage to a company because he didn't get his way. We were more than willing to come to an agreement by offering you a new model $250 UNDER our list price, DESPITE your threats, your destroyed caddy and your way over-expired warranty. It's unfortunate that there are people out there who do things like this to honest small businesses - but, that's the way of the world.

Please see attached photos. One photo shows the poor packaging and broken pieces that he just threw in the box. The second photo shows welding done to the frame, for some reason.

I agree with all of you. The golf cart doesn't work! it was embarrassing when my cart went off the cliff because of bad electronics... The cart was pulling to the right from day one. I called again and again to get it fixed. They send the replacement wheel but did not work. The electronics are a nightmare! I have sent it back now but they are saying no warranty and offered me another cart for $299... I got rippedoff once but not again. Total scam, I advise all golfers to stay away from this cart...

I am the Sales Manager for Green Ray Vehicles, and this post has made me very disappointed, as it is not how I like to direct my staff to serve our customers. Did you try to contact Customer Service about your concerns?
When you say the product was not "As Advertised, " what specifically did you mean? If the caddy does not perform as promised, then you might have a customer service issue that you can claim.

I would like to help you with any concerns you may have, and find a resolution to your problem. I firmly believe in our product and our service, so please call my line directly and we can come up with a solution:

My name is Tom, and I'll be happy to help you get the most out of your electric caddy.

I totally disagree. I have had a great experience with this cart. I brought it to Mexico and it has given me no problems what so ever. Everyone in my golf course envies me because these carts don't exist here. Very reliable. In fact I wanted to buy a second one when I stumbled upon this post, and I couldn't hold back...the cart has made me so happy I just had to do justice and share my view. Maybe you guys got a older model, but the one I got has been great.

I completely agree with you. I don't know about the golf cart not being as advertised but the fact is it doesn't work! The design and the structure are excellent but the electrics are a nightmare! I have sent it back twice and demanded a replacement controller - what they call a potentiometer - but it is totally unreliable. I am embarrassed at the number of times I have had to ask a golf cart to come out and rescue me because the damned thing has just stopped in the middle of the course and refuesed to restart.
