On August 17 I responded to an ad on the internet that offered 100% free TRIAL of an antiaging serum at no cost except shipping of $5.95 for trial. I had 14 days to approve the sample, but after using once, I felt a burning sensation and had an allergic reaction to the product . I sent e- mail stating what happened and canceling the future sending refill, it would be sent every month, to a certain value. I received confirmation of the site that my future shipments were canceled and two days later had deducted from my bank account the amount of US $ 170. I was waiting for information on how to return the product and simply charged the value. Terms and Conditions Duadermaskin.com site is very clear that I can return or cancel at any time at no charge . I have sent e- mail three times, but no one returned me with any information. I want my money back!

As you can see, I made my complaint on September 2015 and, after some details in my Bank account, I was refunded by Duaderma Skin. So, if you feel aggrieved, do as I did. Good luck!

I had the same situation with two free samples I ordered and then found out they charged my credit card and afterwards said there would be no more charges. These are scam advertisements because I really believe it does not go to the maker of the trial offers. My card showed a charge from one of them to a health company who never heard of them and received no money naturally. I checked out this company and then told my bank about it. I had no intention of being ripped off, so I phoned my bank/credit card and explained everything and had no intention of paying those charges on my card ever including any accrued interest. I stopped using my credit card and in the beginning did change my card. The money goes direct to their banks and once my bank did their research, all the charges were credited including interest. Never give up and accept defeat. I didn't and beat those scammers at their own game.

i also was taken for megabucks by this company. You have to wonder how inteligent women can fall for stuff like this. Very decietful! I had to have my bank get involved before I could stop them from taking money from my account. One has to wonder if those advertising this stuff were getting a big payout. B Wilson

To Eliana Alves - please share the details with us, how you managed and were successfull in getting a full refund from Duaderma. I am sure, we are all very interested to have the same result. It is utterly unethical for this company to just take monies and breach the confidence of unsuspecting customers. Kind thanks for your help and sharing. Gratefully, ysd

I have also been scammed by this Alvena Company. I am certain it was strictly offered as a FREE SAMPLE on the site that was promoting it, you only pay for the S&H cost of about$4.95. I do recall it was targeted to Canadians, specifically in the promotion and no where did it state that you were signing a contract to " buy this product every month!" This was total deceitful fraud. The company tells me that I ordered from their web site, and they told me to go and check it again. I told them the website they are not giving me to check looked nothing like the one that I ordered the FREE SAMPLE from. They insist that is the only web site I could have ordered from which is a lie! I never would have signed up to pay for this product! We have all been scammed and robbed for hundreds of dollars, we can all be blind. There was no listing of terms and conditions on the site that promoted the FREE SAMPLE ! Now I have been billed for over $400.00 US$ by these crooks! How do we get someone to do something about these deceitful practices?

Unfortunately, I am also a victim of this scam. I think it is a great idea for ALL OF US to email the Dr Oz show. I/We were duped to think that this is a reputable company and organization. I was also putting faith / confidence in trying the free trial sample due to their ads with Dr Oz. Contacting CBC Go Public is also a great idea. I am sure all of us are open and willing to join, in anyway we can, to try to get our monies back and return all their products. I too have not even tried or opened the items. Definitely angered me to have such conniving people prey on us. Please post here if there are plans or ideas that we can be involve in - the voice of many is definitely beter than the voice of one/ a few. We can't just sit idle and let this company continue to scam and rob more and more innocent people.

I have also become a victim of this scam. So much for the Dr. Oz show. What a lie. I am so angry I could spit fire. I also ordered Free Samples. I was supposed to pay $1.96 for Alvena and $2.99 for DuaDerma shipping only - they charged me $206.52 US for the Alvena and $177.79 US for the DuaDerma. They are crooks for sure!

I am a Canadian and had a very similar experience where over $800 was charged to my VISA account. I hadn't begun to use the products and want to return them to the company. If I am able to show that I returned the products to the company, my credit card company will reverse the charges. Does anyone know the name of the company and their address in Toronto? Not the P. O. Box on North York but in Toronto? Has anyone had any success in getting their credit card company to reverse the charges?

I am going to report what is happening to the RCMP Fraud Department, both provincial and federal minister of Consumer Affairs, my MP and the CBC's Go Public program which investigates situations of fraud like this.

Don't bother returning the product. Phone your bank re Visa card that you will not pay those charges including any interest and explain to them what happened and they will investigate. I did cancel my credit card and received a new one. They will give you a case number and you will just have to wait and keep checking your credit card. In the meantime, don't use your card at all and if you do, pay it ASAP. It worked for me and all charges were credited to a zero balance.

Same happened to me. Can't recall seeing that I had to call before 14 day period. Charged 173. and before I could call (because you can't find a phone # on any of their sites) along came another charge of 200. Immediately called credit card co. and they have cancelled my card and issuing a new one. Also put a stop Payment against the co. for a year. They said the only safe way was to cancel the card because they have hundreds of products under hundreds of co. names and could have charged again under a different name. I think we had better all contact Federal gov't I don't know if it is under consumer protection or not but I will find out and file a complaint. They should all be in jail, including OZ.

I cannot believe I fell for this scam. Obviously the fine print is so small it is easy to miss. I only received the product a couple of days before I called to cancel but it was past the "14 day free trial" that I was not even aware of. When I called in they very unsympathetic that I had broken out in big welts all over my face. Now I am stuck with $400 worth of useless product. They advised that I give them to a friend or relative to try out. Ha! Like I would do that after my experience with the product. If anyone has any ideas on how we can band together to get something done about this online scam let me know!

Just received my credit card statement and along with the other comments here, after what Dr. Oz was promoting on his show signed up for a free sample to pay the shipping charges 01/02/16, which I got billed 01/04/16 Alena 30ml 1.38 US, 01/02/16 billed 01/04/16 30ml duaderma 4.16 US 01/02/16 billed 01/04/16 2.72 Skin Alvernia (which I didn't receive) To day on my credit card statement I see charges 01/18/16 Alvena for 210.68 US,
01/18/16 charges Duaderma 181.74. US. For 30 ml that is one damn expensive face cream, so looks like I will also have to cancel my Credit Card

I am e-mailing Dr.Oz about this SCAM and if he does not make good on the charges I will have him reported to their Better Business Bureau

I also ordered these two products for just S/H, and it was supposed to be for a 14 day trial period, got the products on jan. 27, th and it came out on my credit card $212.18 & $183.52 on jan. 29th so how is that fair 14 day trial my ###, you get the product one day and they charge your card the next day, i called but to no avail, they are crooks, and they won't even listen to you, i talked and there was silence on the other end of the line, and i asked if they were still there and why they weren't saying anything she told me because they didn't want to interrupt me. but even tho i only got it the day before my trial period was over that apparently was the trial period, i didn't even have it opened, and i told her i wanted to send it back she said it wasn't an option because my trial period was over,

I also ordered these two products for just shipping and handling. My credit card was also charged $212.18 & $183.52. My credit card security division called me to alert me of these charges. I had to phone the company first to ask about a refund. The first voice mail said " If you want to cancel your account, press 1" which I did. I then replied to their email re: cancellation, demanding a refund. They called me the next day and said I had to call my credit card security division and set up a three way phone call which I did. The person speaking for me spoke to them and they offered 50% refund for both products. I was told it would take up to 5 banking days. Don't give up until you talk to your financial institution.

This happens on ANY BEAUTY ADD that say you areONLY PAYING FOR SHIPPING HOW THEY GET YOU CAUSE YOU DID NOT READ THE TERMS ABD CONDITIONS that is how they get you legally. Cause they tell you in there thatAFTER 14 Days they will bill you full price and with in 30 days will ship another batch for the full price. UNLESS YOU KNOW THE COMPANY PERSONALLY NO ONE CAN BE BELIEVED AND BECUASE YOU DID NOT READ THE TERMS AND CONDITION THAT IS HOW THEY SCAM YOU, ! Read everything READ THE FINE PRINT

Biggest scam I have seen. Magazines carrying their ads should be ashamed for promoting these products.
Credit card company advised that if I cancel my MC, new charges could bounce to newly issued replacement card.
Duaderma has said they do not provide free samples in spite of what their internet ad says.
The two charges of 124.95 and 144.85 are for the small "sample sizes received" ! Convert that to Canadian $ $392.00 !
I have not even opened them .. They say all the info was included in their ad on the internet.
Was the print so small that the naked eye could not read it ?
If anyone has received any satisfaction with this company regarding cancelling the charges, pls post your comments.
Upset Canadian - unable to afford this...

I had the same thing happen to me today. 400 bucks for both products on my card and said after 14 days I would be charged, I told them I am not working and cant afford it, you know what she said " For your next order, I can give you 50 percent off".. What a bunch of crock this company is, they should feel ashamed of how they are treating there so call customers, Never again, SCAM ### HOLES,

I also saw the ad that said it was a free trial and all I had to pay for was SH. the products arrived and i tried the both products ONCE and since I still had my cream I didn't use it. i saw my credit card statement and was surprised that i was charged almost CAD$400 for both! i called and they said it was a TRIAL and not a FREE SAMPLE and the 14 days were over. " sorry, no refund. final sale". i called them 3 times and even PLEADED with them, BEGGED them but nothing, i told them i could not afford the products. it was like talking to a brick wall. what heartless and non caring people.i don't know how they can sleep at night. BIGGEST SCAM EVER! they said they would just cancel my automatic monthly renewal. (i was not even aware i signed up for it) i called my credit card company and told them to make sure this was not deducted again for the coming months.

Another good question is why are they able to plaster "As seen in" ads for Cosmopolitan and Elle magazine all over their website. Its the reason that my mother in law bought it. It suggests a good reputation. Someone should contact these magazines and let them know that their good name is being used to rip people off. My mother in law signed up for the free trial in December, since then she has been billed 181.52 and 210.42. She's on a fixed income and wont make her mortgage this month. Awesome.

I'm so pissed at this. Just like other women I thought I'd be paying $1.99 shipping fee for the DuaDerma cream and Alvena skin care cream. "free trial" my ###. I did this in November and throughout that month there were withdrawals. And in December I noticed they were taking out $170.00 AND $199.00... TWICE in a same day... I couldn't believe it. The withdrawals are from 'Healthy Skin' and 'DuaDerma Skin'... I was fuming, I lost countless hundreds for these 2 creams that were SUPPOSED to only cost under $5.00. I found there is no way to cancel the subscription and I can not get my money back. I had to cancel my bank account to stop any future withdrawals from them.. What horrible people to be behind a scam like that. A very expensive lesson to learn! If you see anything, deals/etc.online that seem too good to be true, THEY ARE.

BEWARE! INTERNET SCAM! My wife was caught by the same scam. Read the fine print.

My wife encountered the exact same issue. The site said it was a free trail and only had to pay the fee for shipping charge of $4.07 . She only authorized this small payment - however 14 days after the initial charge a charge of $170.76 appeared on our credit card. Unfortunately my wife also ordered the free trail of Alvena at the same time - from same company for $2.67 for the free trail - just shipping costs. Same issue, 14 days later a charge of $197.95. Supposedly there is a 30 day money back guarantee. But when my wife called to cancel and return the product (you need a Return number) which she has not even opened the operator at Duamderma said that you can cancel future monthly fees but can't get the inialt monthly fee back - as she said this is the cost to cancel. A total scam of course. So now I have to cancel my credit card because a fraudulent company such as this should not have your credit card information. NEVER order from www.alenasin.com or www.duaderma.com!

IT IS AN INTERNET SCAM
