DirtyPhoneBook review: Refuse to remove my phone-number! 14

Without my consent, the attack website http://www.dirtyphonebook.com/ has posted my phone number and disparaging remarks about my looks. I think this is a privacy violation first and immoral second. I contacted them asking for them to remove my phone number and they didn't respond. I further contacted them again a few days later and they again didn't comply with my wishes. I think it's wrong to do that to somebody especially when I don't know who it is. I am strong enough to live with attacks on me, but I think a lot of people are getting harrassed a lot worse and I think parents need to be aware about this. Thank you.

I had my old phone number [protected], on dirty phone book, put by somebody... i still do not know who put my number with my Facebook site attached to it... if i knew i might have known why? perhaps, jealousy, revenge, hatersed or something towards me...since july of 2010, when it was posted... i was once again deeply hurt, through out so many years, so much has occurred that i keep it inside, even though i did not show it, well i did get 23 like or more so to it, lol.. so people sure were something towards me... I did get my old number remove, anyways i have a new number now!

This website has my full name and a facebook url associated with my cell phone number. I have contacted them several times, along with contacting their domain registar, FBI, BBB and other organizations in an attempt to have either my information removed or the website shut down.

If it is ever that bad just change you phone number. If you made someone so ticked at you that a post telling it all makes them feel better, then they'll do it again somewhere else. No biggie. Get over it and don't piss anyone else off.

its just ignorant people out there that does not have anything to do better in their life so they rather pick on people that cannot defend themselves because they don't know where it comes from, and they're cowards to confront them in their face, so there only alternative is to try to destroy your character for the world to see, because they're dumb ### are unhappy enough said! cyberbullying need to stop!

I just recently, as in about not even an hour ago, found my number on this horrendously appalling website with my full name AND email address on there and it has been there since 2010..that is TOO long and it's stomach churning to the though of who could have my information and what they could do with it. I've never done anything to anyone so why would someone do this to me...to other people? And I do not understand why the site has not been taken down and permanently shut down. I am considering about contacting the FBI as well but now I am overly paranoid about where my information goes.
-Please keep us posted of any further information.

I too have been harassed by Dirty Phone Book. However, I am a writer, editor, publisher, and journalist, and I have just sent them the following email :
To whom it may concern,

I am part of the large community of people whom you have wronged through your libelous website. After numerous attempts at contacting you, I have come to a decision. You may look for an article about your lecherous company in a major newspaper within the next month-- and that is a journalist's guarantee. You can reach me, as I'm sure you know, at [protected], and I would expect that you would do so, as it is certainly in your best interest, at your very earliest opportunity.

I have the advice and support of my company's legal counsel. Furthermore, please feel free to google the article "Beware the Chinese Stocks, " written for Barron's Magazine. It spurred a major SEC investigation of Chinese stocks, and I was a main contributor to said article. I suggest that you consider whether or not your meager company can handle an equally damaging article and the attendant investigations. Again, it would be in your best interest to contact me immediately, for I am not talking about an article for a small blog that "Peter Green" can contact and cajole.

Allow me to summarize: call me, and perhaps I will re-consider. Or, call my bluff and wait to see your company, its investors, and its advertisers, dragged through the mud.
It would be ill-advised to test my, or my counsel's patience-- and that, too, is a guarantee.

IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO MY UPCOMING ARTICLE-- AND IT IS UPCOMING- CONTACT ME AT Jolene.Paternoster@gmail.com- subject line PRESS. I NEED ONLY ANONYMOUS QUOTES AND SUPPORT.

The same exact thing happened to me. There are no comments on my number, but I dislike it regardless. I just sent them an email. Something needs to be done.
