This merchant offers a half price online certificate.The half off certificate for Cream City Carpet Cleaning offer is a trap by this merchant to just get your business. He says that he would accept the certificate and once you buy it and call him for service, he says first he cannot accept it and then in the same breath says if he does, he will have to charge full price, which will ultimately have you pay much more than the price you can get anywhere from the competitiors for the same service. His (Jason Labarge) argument is that he cannot redeem the certificate, but still insists that you should hand it over to him at the end of the service. The bottom line is you will lose your $22 you pay for the $50 certificate. Don't waste your hard earned money on buying this certificate or using the services of Cream City Carpet Cleaning! Go with reputable people like Stanley steemers, Sears, etc. to get your money's worth. They will tell you the price upfront at the least for the service you want instead of later when you hire them.
This business is owned by the same person who ran Cream City Restoration. Please look up Cream City Restoration’s Better Business Bureau reviews. Do not do business with this man.
Owner is a rude jerk! I had to laugh then I saw some of these comments as I had the same experience!
Jason is a exactly as described above. He has horrible attitude and if you ask him any thing he starts arguing with you with F word. I am a physician and had to use him for my basement flooding as there was no one available in emergency. His man tells me that he lies all time to customers and hence they are placed on spot when they come to do the work at customers house. Never do a favor to him as he is not worth any favor, and always pay with credit card so you can dispute it if he does lousy work, which is normal for him.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.! Purchased Groupon from Cream City, spoke to Jason (owner) on scheduling. Followed up with Jason on the date of service only to discover he never booked it - THIS AFTER A OBSCENITY LADDEN TIRADE. Tried to work with him on reschedule, which he became agitate and ended the conversation with a 'you know what, f-you' and hung up. It is shocking that, as the owner of his company, he handles himself this way. If you enjoy missed schedules and being sworn at, then I encourage you to work with this company, otherwise, go with the professionals AND STAY AWAY!
I bought a groupon last week. I called to make the appointment and the first thing I'm told is that we should give the workers a good tip because they work hard. HUH? How can you suggest we tip prior to us even knowing what type of services you provide? I'm sorry, but I only tip for great service, after the service is completed. He also told me that there's a $20 charge to DEEP CLEAN the carpet. WHAT? I thought that DEEP CLEANING was part of the cleaning process. Well, they came today to clean the carpet and it looks EXACTLY THE SAME as it did before they came. He said it was because the carpet was "worn". I just had the carpet cleaned earlier this year. I'll stick with Stanley Steamer or Sears. I'm asking Groupon for a refund.
I had a coupon and he came and honored it just as promised! Not only did he do that I got some great prices on my furniture. They did an awesome job on my carpet and furniture! I was very pleased and referred several friends to him who were also happy w/ the prices and work!
I ordered the groupon which offered 2 rooms and a hallway. When the cleaners arrived the told me because my living room was L shaped and included a 10x 10 dining area it counted as two rooms, I was required to pay an extra $77 for the work. This was after a Reschedule induced by them. This brought the total rate to $130 for under 600 sq feet ( the groupon covered 600 sq feet). I do not recommend
I recently received a Groupon ad regarding this and wanted to read up on the business. Though I know there are two sides to each story, I am simply going to state that the defense for this particular company, Mike Naper, hurts the company's reputation simply by typing in some form of broken English. Before submitting your defense paragraph, take a moment to edit it. This speaks almost as bad as the anonymous discrediting comment.
That said, I will check in further on the Groupon.

Agreed Jason is horrible to work with! I don't recommend working with Cream City. You get what you pay for so go with Stanley Steemers and pay the extra money unless you want unprofessionalism and attitude problems.
