When I went a picked up the puppy everything seem to be aright a a few weeks later hair started to disapear away from her eyes took her to the vet it was demodex mange called the breeder her and her husband said she pick it up when she got to me from the groomer or the dog park they intemaded me said their was no way the got the mange on their end it comes the mother when get stressed out the puppy was stresses before it got me like I said this scotch collie assocotion said was easily treated it will up two 3 or 4 months to do so and can come back so beware of clan Calhoun scotch collies in riverside Alabama so buyer beware
I have never responded to this post because I felt like a response was useless. This lady is the only buyer of one of our collies that ever had a problem. Out of the many dozens of litters that have been sent all over the US and even 2 puppies to Saudi Arabia she is the only one who complained. Of course she had already had the puppy for over a month before she complained. I offered to take the puppy back and to take him to my vet. But the customer wouldn’t do that. I always tell my customers not to take their puppies to dog parks or other places where a sick puppy might have been we NEVER let other dogs near our babies. We are preferred breeder with AKC and pride ourselves on our standards and health of our dogs. While I am very sorry for her puppy being sick this one puppy out of a litter of 11 puppies is the only baby that was sick.
