This company is is under investigation. Not only for fraud, forgery, grand theft, elderly abuse but for ripping off employees too. The good things said about the company were done by Crystal Bennett who is the Operations Manager. MBM/LGM and Balboa Law Group are one in the same. they had to keep changing names because the owner was arrested for 62 counts of illegal conduct. They have a class action lawsuit against them...they are rated F on BBB with countless complaints under each company name. Crystal Bennett is the girlfriend of Michael McConville who is the son of Terence McConville (Attorney for the company) who is the father of Sean McConville all in which was convicted of 62 counts of felony charges. I know first hand that the are scam artist. I worked there and am in the middle of a law suit now...called the whistle blower law...they have informants there now, investigating. Aggie is under house arrest for fraud and forgery as well and is still employed there. Lauren, the pregnant one, sells marijuana on the premisis supplied by her boyfriend/husband. just google each one of them individually and by company name...you will see..

After two months of working there starting in August, I can say Balboa Law Group went out of their way to separate themselves from the other companies and the legal issues surrounding the owner of MBM. As regulations and laws changed the company spent money to bring on new viable, legal and complex litigation services, debt reduction services and still continued to work on loan modification cases. Resources and manpower were dedicated to the processing and completion of any outstanding loan mod clients.

I was always paid what was owed to me and was glad they gave me a chance to make some money during a difficult time in my life. I worked in another industry before this job and when I found a higher paying job that I had to move for, I gave my notice and they still let me work part time on the weekends. I can't say anything bad about them.
