I purchased two pairs of African Grey breeders for
$4000 from a person calling herself Michelle Fasio. She advertised them as
healthy young pairs that had bred for her 3-4 times a year, 3-5 babies per
clutch. When I picked them up in Shirley New York she made me wait for 5 hours
after the agreed time. After already driven 6 hours I waited. What she offered
was two pairs of half plucked birds. She kept saying they don’t look the best
but I will thank her because they were great breeders. As it turns out one pair
was two females and the other were imports too old to breed. After trying to
get my money back for years she traded for two other pairs of the same quality.
I never got them out of quarantine, after one died I got rid of them. The vet
said they had a laundry list of diseases that were not curable and rendered
them infertile.
Please do not buy any birds from her flock of 30
pairs. You will get sick and so will any animal they are in contact with.
Please find other complaints on her, her husband and
sister. Complaints listed under Robin Schulder, parrot sales. As stated in the
other complaints she uses many different names and locations. But if they are
part of her flock they are sick.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This women goes under several different alias. She is con artist and liar. She sold my husband and I a sick bird as well. She advertised him as a dominate yellow Camelot macaw 6 months old. Yet he was not dominate yellow and she had advertised his sale 6 months earlier. Shortly after we brought him home he was very ill. After 3k in vet bills we were told by an Avian Vet that he was not weaned, care for or fed properly. He was Vitamin A deficient. He is thriving now on a healthy diet but this crazy lady goes under several different aliases and tells you a bunch of bull to sell you sick birds. BEWARE! Her name is Michelle Fazio, apparently. She gave us the name Danielle Ferris? But whatever her real name may be...her address is 458 Helene Ave, Shirley, NY. She has hundreds of birds that are not being properly fed or cared for. Please investigate this fraud!
