Back in late March, my husband and I saw a flyer about getting a free vehicle through an organization called Ride2Freedom, and all you had to do was pay for a monthly maintenance plan for 2 years. We thought it was a great idea, especially since we really needed a car. So we called Ride2Freedom, paid $41.00 for an application fee and was approved for their program. In May, on the 10th, we had to pay $233.00 for our first payment so that our vehicle would be delivered, and we had to put insurance on it. Now, from when we first signed up in March, the whole process was only supposed to take 30 to 45 days to receive our vehicle. Well, we had been given false promise after promise about the delivery date of our car. We had picked out a 2006 Ford Explorer Xlt. On the date given, no one ever showed up or bothered to call or email us that no one would be showing up. We called and were given the run around, and then our calls and emails were ignored. We got very frustrated and because we kept questioning the whereabouts of our vehicle, they decided to cancel the delivery of it, and refund our money, which we are still waiting on. We believe that we were scammed. This organization is run by a Church, and they prey on those desperately in need. At least we got our insurance money back, but only because it wasn't through them. Please, if anyone comes across the Ride2Freedom website or a flyer, steer clear! Also, there phones are now disconnected, as well.

Hello Candace! I sent you a private email. I just want to let you know that I sincerely believe you and I am so sorry for what Chris has done to your Mother, your father and their ministry.
I do believe that not only was Chris Malachi involved in this scheme, but Gary Daginella was as well. Mr. Daginella wants to sue me and my husband for slander against Ride2Freedom because of this complaint and others I have filed against them. I hope that your mother, your family, me and everyone who got scammed, gets justice, and soon!

I was not ok with Ride2Freedom return policy. They will deduct $30.00 from your purchase fee without notifying you upfront about it. Refund policy does not state a cancelation fee nor does salesperson mention anything about it.

Hello
I became aware of this scam just recently. One of the primary players in this scam goes by the following names:
1. Chris McGee
2. Chris Malachi
3. Christeen McGee
4. Christeen Malachi
She, unfortunately, scammed several other people. I believe there is another person of interest that goes by the name Jennifer Martin but at this point I am not certain of her involvement with Chris and to what depth; however, I am sure Jennifer goes by two aliases as well. I am a personal representative of one of the Non-Profit Organizations she utilized to establish some of these bogus scams, which was founded by my mother. She presented the idea of the "Ride to Freedom" program to my mother as a method to bless individuals in need of a vehicle: then she made all of these false promises to my mother indicating she can help her with her ministry. This was all a LIE to get access to my mother’s Tax ID Number for her ministry and SSN, under which she has created thousands of dollars of debt. My mother is elderly, doesn't even know how to use a computer that well... My mother hand writes her sermons and faxes them to me to type because she does not know how to... What really hurts is that my mother accepted Chris, Christeen, whoever she is, into her and my father's home and this is the conclusion, which seemingly has no end. Additionally, I discovered Chris spent eight years in prison for similar "scam" crimes with another ministry. My mother's ministry has been tarnished which may never be fully recovered. As the days go by, we discovered more debt in my mother’s name and/or her ministry’s name. And, it's to the point my mother's personal account has been frozen at her bank due to the activity conducted by this "Chris" character in my mother’s ministry account. At this point, we do not know the depth to which this individual has gone to scam others but I am sure this is not the end. On behalf of the misrepresentation of my mother's organization, I do extend my apologizes. We are working to sort out how much debt she has created for my mother and her non-profit ministry/organization at this time. I will check this page and as many others as I can find to provide updates or see if anyone else has been impacted by this.
I attest that my mother, Rosia Duncan and/or her ministry, House of Prayer, Healing and Deliverance Ministries, did not have any knowledge or play any role in this scam that unfortunately defrauded many individuals, including my mother and father.
