I would strongly urge anyone looking for a job to stay away from Forever Green Canada / Vertdure ... as their business practices are just short of discusting. I worked there for less than 3 weeks. On Wed Feb 16th the VP of the Company Paul Poisson took it upon himself to bully me, harrass me, degrade, humiliate and belittle me ... in the hope that I would do more work ... for less money. That is the way that they conduct business by walking all over people to get as much out of them as possible. Needles to say, I quit. As per Labour Standards ... I should have been paid in full (including vacation pay) today (Thurs Feb 24th). However, they want to continue with their abuse by paying me for the week of Feb 7 - 12/11 on Thurs Feb 24th, and there is a balance of 13 1/2 hours (plus vac pay) for the week of Feb 14 - 19/11 (I quit on Wed Feb 16). They have advised me that they will not comply with Labour Stds, and this balance will be paid out on Wed March 3rd. Working for this company is a total waste of someone's time. Please stay away from them.

Neighbours hired this company the past 2 seasons. Last September the leaves on my 'Burning bush' near the property border, turned brown and dry and fell off. This Spring, shrub is dead. We have sent emails and called them but no response. I think this is sick that a pesticide that kills landscaping shrubbery is allowed to be used in our municipality. I sent emails to the Municipality of Chateauguay, QC to complain but they won't answer me either. I can't understand why this crap is still allowed to happen. I don't want to brag, but with minimal effort my husband and i have a beautiful lawn. We fertilize once a year. Cut it long. Every weekend we each spend about ten minutes pulling weeds with a weed puller mounted to a Hockey stick. Voila, thats it. Lawn is gorgeous. No pesticides ever used.
We are having the same problem with this company. They ignore our calls, threaten to charge us $200 if we break a contract and we have never seen them treat the lawn. We just find sign s on the lawn like those who mentioned. Highly unethical company. Avoid at all cost!
Very bad service! - Do not recommend it to anyone!
1) Bad client service: they don't return call or even answer the phone
2) no result: I signed up for weed control, I have more weeds now than when I started
3) damaged my lawn: after one of their service visits my lawn was burnt out!
This company is beyond pathetic. A neighbour saw them show up at our place and pull the exact same stunt, planting the sign and doing nothing. The lawn is covered in weeds, worse than when we had no weed service! 70% + in terrible condition.
On top of that, my wife called them earlier today and was basically told that they do not ever say they can take care of a weed problem, that it is her responsibility to call them every time she see's a weed, not theirs to check during their supposed inspections. When my wife said it wasn't good enough by a mile they said to complain all she wants, where she wants, but we owe them 200$ if we cancel the non-service. Ironically, we did call, they almost never show up, and if they do, never when or how they say they will. I tried to call back to speak to a manager, twice, and was on hold for 40 minutes the first time, and 1 and a half hours the second time, never actually getting to speak to anyone at all.
Avoid at all costs. This company is a sham and it is going to be my pleasure to take them to court.
This company is garbage. The treatments do not work. I have to replace 70% of my lawn due to weeds. Plus they won't let me get out of my contract until 2016 unless I pay >200$. Poor Customer service, poor service. Do not go with this company.
Forever green
1) Poor client service - You can call all you want, they do not return your calls. Unless you threaten to call the police or take civil action.
2) Disorganized - You ask them to do a specific thing (e.g. call the night before), but even they say they make a note on your file, they either lose your file and the note, or they clearly do not know how to dial your phone... unless you threaten them with something.
3) We were home one day, we saw the guy plant the sign in the front and the back of our house, as to say that he had fertilized the lawn. However, that's all he did! He planted the signs and hopped in his vehicle and left.
4) We are desperately trying to get rid of them people, but they have it in their mind that we have a contract with them. We had a contract last year, but we did not sign with them this year. But guess what after multiple phone calls asking them to stay the hell off our property, they still come back and do work on our lawn UNAUTHORIZED! Since we signed with another company, Forever Green will probably end up burning our lawn since they are adding unnecessary fertilizer.
To all of you who are thinking of signing up with this group from hell - - GOOD LUCK!

You sound like those girls that always victimize themselves. That's no reason to complain a lot of workplaces are like that and just cause you cannot handle the pressure it doesn't qualifies as harassment I think you should study the dictionary more. You did well to quit though, leaving the job to someone more capable and that could handle more pressure. Hope you find what you are looking for.
