All 70 domain names and 14 websites were moved from godaddy, an even worse company to ionos 1 and 1. Read about Stephanie45's complaint. She is 100% right in everything she says. If there is a problem you are dealing with many different people, and in this case I now have a seri0us problem. They wrongfully billed me for 43 hosting packages for a total of $5,128.69, that figure is per "jeff" an America ionos rep.
When I joined last year,. Kenneth said he would get me special billing that he could institute and then cancel he hosting potion of the package. He never cancelled. Despite me calling to find out what all these hosting bills were, they finally discover on Oct 20, 2023, 43 hosting contracts had been charged against my card without my permission and nobody there saw it. There were NO websites at any of these domains, 43 of them. I own 70 domains, only 15 have websites, not 15 + 43. They have not refunded me.
Additionally, their invoicing is so confusing, the invoices simply say hosting, not what website they are for.
I am looking onto suing them in PA where their American arm is based. There are major damages plus punitive damages.
I thought Godaddy was bad with the malware in their servers. I do believe ionos 1 and 1 is far worse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!
Claimed loss: $5,128.69 + other punitive damages.
Desired outcome: THEY NEED TO REFUND $5,128.69 + financial consideration for the damages, aggravation and dozens of hours of my time.
