Horrible, our complants caused Home Advisor to drop them from their Site.

Safari Home Services, LLC installed a new air conditioner air handler and compressor units in March . They gave me a one-year warranty on parts and labor as part of the installation. Unfortunately, my air conditioner stopped working one night, so I contacted Safari Home Services for a service call. They came over and found that the problem was a faulty circuitboard inside the air handler. They charged me a $79 diagnostic fee, which I tried to argue against, but it didn't make a difference. They said they needed to order a new circuitboard and would return the next day to replace it. Later that afternoon, they called me and said the new circuitboard would cost $81. Once again, I argued that this repair should be covered by the parts and labor warranty. However, I reluctantly paid the amount just to get my air conditioner fixed. I don't think I'll ever use their services again because it seems like they're only interested in taking your money.

Zero stars if we could. PLEASE BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! My wife and I decided to hire Safari as they were on the approved contractors list through the finance company we had been approved with. We signed the contract and were told 2 maybe half of 3rd day tops to complete the work. The first day was a nightmare they showed up 2 guys and a trailer and said they were there to begin taking out our old ductwork. About an hour later 2 more guys showed up in a pickup with our new system in back. One of the guys stood removing the packaging from system while the other began to cut a hole in my ceiling to pass the new system up in the attic. After 3 1/2 hours of back and forth I was left with the new system is wrong and not made for the attic it will sweat and do damage and also it won't fit. My options put the unit in my wife's home gym room and move all her equipment or wait for a few weeks with no air. Wow! First day done! 2nd day They used our furniture as ladders when we came home we noticed footprints on the furniture and dust everywhere nothing covered or cared for. Children's rooms completely dusty as with rest of house. Explained my frustrations and pointed out that it looked like they were going to need a few more days. I was assured they would be done the next day. 3rd day and supposedly the final day. I have a very nice surveillance system set up in my home while I was looking at the camera when they arrived I could hear them talking about us. One of them made some obscene comments so I decided to get home and make sure everything was ok. Upon entering the house I immediately stepped in standing water and my ceiling was collapsing. They flooded my house! Brand new completely renovated house! I immediately called the owner Andrew he did respond quickly by having a restoration company come out and remediate the situation. He quickly filed an insurance claim with his insurance and then a week later finally somewhat finished the install. I still have materials on site. I still have my old system in place that was never removed and my AC even though they convinced us to upgrade from a 2.5 ton to a 3 ton is still not working properly. Then to be told by Andrew himself that they would not be coming back to finish because he is getting a feeling that I don't want to pay. Amazing! Not sure what gave him that feeling was it the beautiful home the big family maybe the fact we are self employed and run a successful company maybe because we an interracial couple or maybe my dreads?!?. Not sure but either way him judging a book by the cover especially after all their mistakes was just wrong he should have had some dignity and finished and then it would have been on us to pay, if we didn't then there are actions he could take to recoup. Unfortunately he's not finishing and yet still trying to take those actions. We now have had to hire legal representation. Please stay away from this Safari Home Services.

The AC unit installation by Safari Home Services, LLC was really bad. They took like 3 days to do it and messed it up, causing a leak that made the coolant come out. They also forgot to put in a filter, and later on they said it would cost extra. After about a year, the unit stopped working and they charged a crazy amount to check and clean the drain line. But guess what? Still no filter! I've had multiple conversations with them, both on the phone and in person, and they keep saying it's an extra charge. I even paid for the filter on January 8, but still no sign of it.

I had Safari Home Services install a new a/c unit in Nov. 2019. I chose them because they were local and the reviews seemed good. When Andrew W. came to give me an estimate, he didn't mention anything about needing new duct work. However, in May , Caleb O. informed me that our duct work needed to be replaced and it would cost an additional $4,889.00. I emailed the company to ask why this wasn't mentioned during the estimate. Andrew replied, saying that he sometimes forgets that not everyone knows about his industry and doesn't always think to inform homeowners about such things. He also failed to mention that ductwork in Florida typically lasts 10-20 years. He ended his message by acknowledging that bad news is never pleasant to hear. They did offer a cheaper temporary fix for $2,000.00, but they made it clear that the duct work would still need to be replaced. I believe this is poor business practice and they should have informed me about this issue before starting any work.
