I don't often leave a review but try to make the time so if someone is looking into purchasing the same product/ service I have or even just the quality, customer care.

Super happy with the work from Platinum. *** was pleasing to deal with and answered all my questions thoroughly (I ask a lot of questions). Incredibly happy with the air purifier I purchased and immediately noticed a difference. I also just had my air conditioner repaired by them and it was quick and the repairman (forgot his name, sorry!) was great and very friendly!

My whole entire process with Platinum Air Care was fantastic! From booking with ***, to the actual duct & furnace cleaning with *** and ***, everything went smoothly. They were respectable in my home, nice to my dogs, answered my questions throughout the process, and showed me the work they performed. Very happy I went through this company! Will definitely use them again in the future!

Excellent service, I placed an order online during the horrible fire season we had in BC this past summer and I called first to make sure parts for my machine weren't obsolete or discontinued and I was happy to be informed that they were not the employee was very prompt in answering my questions and quick to help with confirming my purchases over the phone. Definitely using your services in the future!

Platinum Air Care gave me the good experience I looked for, I had a few questions, and wanted to get out of a rental contract; they helped me with that perfectly and handled the return for me. The best part (and most ridiculous part) my monthly payment for a better water heater through Platinum is costing me LESS ***!. *** were great to deal with, thanks Platinum.

Platinum Air Care is a ***. They called my elderly grandfather and booked an appt to have someone come out and look at his air filtration system that previous *** installed. They told him it was installed in the wrong place and lights were on that shouldn't be so they would install a new filter the next day if he paid now. So the tech walked out with a $1700 cheque on the promise someone would be by the next day. Luckily I caught this and was able to get the cheque canceled.

They are calling unsolicited offering a free inspection of air system. I have never dealt with this company in the past and do not even have a "listed" phone number. They told me my "town" gave out the information to contact me. I called my town and, no, they do not. I called Platinum back and I asked to speak to a manager. She told me they purchase the phone numbers to make these calls to offer free inspections. Obviously hoping for them to find something wrong and then offer to fix I'm sure. Don't trust

Excellent experience with Platinum! I found them from the ad save coupon, and *** came out to clean my ducts. *** made me aware that my water heater had a slight leak which trickled near the rear of my furnace and caused mold growth. Needless to say, I had them fix up my problem, and they also got rid of my rental tank. I was most surprised about this because I just purchased the home and the home inspector did not find this (which irritates me if I had to be honest!).

All I can say is we've had a really good experience with Platinum Air Care, which prompted this review. We originally purchased an air purifier system and are REALLY happy with it, especially as time goes by, as both my wife and I work from home. They are friendly and knowledgeable. And with my new issue; was very quick respond. My furnace completely broke down and they sent a tech out and got me fixed within 3 hours that morning. I do live close to their office, but compared to some other companies n the past, Platinum has been great, definitely recommend!

Received cold call from this Company. Have never done business with them in the past, and we are on the Do Not Call list. They are offering a ventilation inspection and they clearly indicated they do it for "all homes in our area" which clearly is untrue as your in London and there are plenty of HVAC companies where I live. So not only are they breaking the Canadian DNC list requirements, but they are pedaling questionable services. How they got my number, name and address? I have no idea. This review in no way makes any commentary on their ability, but their practices in getting business are highly suspect.

Absolutely shocked!
I scheduled a ventilation inspection and technician *** found an air conditioner leak that caused mold growth in my vents. I seen it with my own eyes!
*** also explained to me that the air conditioner leak was the old type of refrigerant which was freon based (I forgot the proper name) and breathing it could be very unsafe.

Needless to say, I chose Platinum to fix this problem, *** ran new lines, put the new and current refrigerant, and I had duct cleaning to thoroughly clean out the mold build-up.

10/10, would recommend. *** showed me a problem I had no idea was an issue until witnessing it with my own eyes.

This call sounded sketchy right from the get go. I had a call from Platinum Air Care this morning, to schedule a "Ventilation Safety Check". They appear to be based in London On. They claim they "Sponsor all the safety checks all over Port Dover" We inspect your ducts, dryer vents etc. Are you inspecting my furnace and a/c? "No, we don't do that" he said. Is this mandatory? No, not really" he said. So if my ventilation system is deemed unsafe, what do you do? "We tag it and recommend making it safe" And how do you do that? " We recommend cleaning it" So this is another take on "Air Duct Cleaning Services" that usually call at dinnertime? "No, not at all" Goodbye I said. Don't fall for this Port Dover.

This company is appalling! They've taken advantage of my mother's trust and age, selling her water filters and several air cleaners, promising a lifetime of filters and support. The cleaners (a floor model first, then a furnace attachment model) were both unnecessary, as she already has a full HVAC system, and they have also refused to service them properly. For example, the floor model makes strange noises (which got worse after a 'technician' looked at it) and the furnace attachment has a bulb that needs replacing as the warning light has been on for a year. Someone did arrive to 'replace' the bulb, which mom was charged heavily for, but the replacement never worked. Now they're telling her that they can't support her because of the pandemic and she should ignore the light. Stay clear of this company!

I am disgusted with this company! In light of our current situation with COVID-19, I am even more disgusted! Today they visited my 92 year old grandmother who has respiratory problems, and should NOT be being visited by strangers right now, spent less than an hour in her house and proceeded to charge her $5000 to say "she has mold." This is apparent a DISCOUNTED PRICE FROM $8000! *** Thank god my mother came to see her shortly after so she could get her money back! STOP GOING TO THE ELDERLY RIGHT NOW! Actually the responsible thing to do you would be to *** shut your business down for the next three weeks. We are in a state of emergency by the way! SHAME ON YOU!

This company ain't professional at all. They took advantage of my mother-in-law, who's old and not thinking straight, and sold her an expensive air cleaner without her asking for it. They put it in her house on Feb. 11, 2022 and then came back twice on Mar. 18 and Jun. 27 to do some unnecessary service on it and charged her $231.48 more. We called them on Jul. 27 to cancel and get a refund, but they just put her on their "Do Not Contact" list and said they'd talk to "Management." When we called again, they offered free service for a year, but still won't leave her alone like we asked. Don't trust these guys.

So, I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty ticked off at Platinum Air Care. They put in a new furnace for my Aunt last year, and it's just not right. With COVID and all, we couldn't be there to help her out with the purchase, so we trusted these guys to do the right thing. But when we finally got to visit her, we saw that the furnace they installed was way too big for the space. I mean, it's sticking out into the hallway by three whole inches! It's a total eyesore. They should have put in a unit that was the same size as the old one, you know what I mean? Like for like. Now we gotta bump out the wall just to cover it up with a door. It's a mess. We think they totally took advantage of my Aunt, and if we had been there, we never would have let them do it. We've tried to get them to fix it, but they're not doing anything about it. So frustrating.

My mother-in-law lives in Goderich, Ontario and is 89 years old. She was diagnosed with dementia two years ago and lives alone. For over a year, someone comes in twice a day to give her pills as she can't remember. After my wife's dad died, someone from Platinum Air Care convinced her to let him check her basement items. He convinced her that the air humidifier was finished and showed her a small rust spot. The old one was installed five years earlier and worked fine. She paid $5000 cash as she just sold her car for $5000 cash, worth about $1000. She can't find the bill. Early September, she ended up in the hospital and is incapable of living alone. She is now in a care home with locked doors. We put her house up for sale and found all these new items in the basement and found the same Platinum Air Care sold and installed them. (*** tankless hot water heater, *** water filtration). She drank Godrich water for 88 years. Why a water filtration now? She paid XXXXX dollars, almost twice the competition. She can't remember a thing about this transaction. Then they convinced her to finance it through a different company at 13%. She gets less than 2% at the bank where she has several times this amount in the account. I phoned Platinum Air Care four times. Two calls, left a message for the manager to phone me. No call back. One call got some agent told me manager busy with a client. I said phone back when available. No call back. The last call agent said the manager was gone, not available, and can she help me. I said *** bill, and she very rudely said I can't help you and hung up. I still don't know what is a *** water filtration, as no plumber seems to know either. And Platinum will not let me ask a single question. Every item they installed was about 4 to 7 years old and worked fine. Platinum Air Care invented a problem when there was none. I understand they are very schooled and slick in covering their wrongdoing.
