Zoovy.comZoovy ain't groovy!

We were a customer of Zoovy for some time, but decided to leave after rate increases and continuing inappropriate comments towards us by the Zoovy staff. Apparently we were disliked because we didn't spend enough with Zoovy. We never felt that Zoovy cared about our business, in fact we felt put down by Zoovy. We switched to another ecommerce provider and our sales have sky rocketed. Leaving Zoovy was not only good for our business, but we found our rankings in Google shot up because we no longer were linked with a Zoovy sub domain, we had our own domain after we left. You really need to shop around for an ecommerce provider and check for hidden costs. And there are better ecommerce providers out there, our success is evident of that. We been interviewed on a number of radio shows, TV and in a internationally released documentary. I highly doubt that if we had stayed with Zoovy that we would have become a huge success.

I too have had problems with Zoovy. One time my cc processing stopped and I put in an URGENT support ticket...the guy that called me was pissed that I said it was urgent...guess getting him up at 2:30 am PST didn't set well with him...well I was on east coast so it was time to be up.
I have left Zoovy because of may issues but the issue is now is that I have moved my domain name but they have not cancelled my account and still have a domain XXXXX.zoovy.com and I received an order from this site yesterday. I have sent them 3 requests and 2 copies of the form that they requested. STILL NOTHING. Find another site to host your website you will be much happier.

They are still billing me too but I am going to make a fraud complaint to my cc company.

I have been with Zoovy since 2002. We have 200 - 400 items on our web site at any time. We mainly use Zoovy as a tool to launch auctions on Ebay. We agree that it is not always easy to get answers to problems using their help screens. We are on a very basic plan which includes 1 hour of support per month. If you go over 1 hour they charge $100 per hour. From time to time there are gltiches with their listing tools. We too, are looking for a better solution. We are not being charged based on success. We are grandfathered in on a fixed rate but with a low amount of allowed disk usage. If we exceed the disk space we might owe an extra $10.00 that month. They have always been courteous when I spoke to them. If the problem was their fault it didn't count towards are allocated support time.

If you have any alternatives for us to consider, feel free to contact me through our web site or just email [email protected]

Zoovy has a poor customer service skill set. None to be exact. In my opinion they intentionally list disinformation on their services to confuse customers. When
website information is incorrect and leads you into a black hole then they want you to create a ticket. There you talk to a "support technician" that has been hired off the street last week from Lowe's plumbing department. One question costs you $50.00 for a waste of your time and money. I for one don't have the time and certainly don't want to host my website where I have to be my own tech support. There are other companies that offer friendly and knowledgeable customer service without sticking you with a trumped up charge for a simple question regarding their misleading information. Their attitude seems to be that it's a privilege for them to condescend to speak with you. They should go back to wiring and servicing hardware with all of their MS engineering certs and stay out of the people business. I'm going to cancel my account as soon as I create a ticket. I tried the link on their customer service page to accomplish this but it doesn't work.

Zoovy is driven by greed and lack of professionalism. They have highly inexperienced staff and lack service orientation. Find any other company that can provide you technical expertise and professionalism. We are looking for options and will let you know. For Scott Ingham... you are the only one.. Keep up with Zoovy and soon file for bankruptcy...

Zoovy is a great company that boosted my sales beyond what I ever expected. I love their success based billing model. The better I do, the better they do.

I'm researching various e-commerce providers. I'm looking into Zoovy. What's the competitor that you went with? What are some competitors similar to Zoovy?

    Thanks,

I always love the guys/companies who post up a complaint but have to stay anonymous. If you are such a success now, and Zoovy was holding you back, why don't you post up your name or that of your company. Give the complaint some credibility. As of right know it doesn't mean squat. As far as we know you are a dis-gruntled competitor.
