Zone Fitness have to pay more than my membership fee monthly on parking

I have been moved from the Palm Grove zone fitness as they closed down. The nearest zonefitness to me is then Willowbridge. I apparently have to pay parking and only get a R3. 00 discount from the gym. I like to gym everyday and for atleast an hour. Working that out in the amount I must pay in parking alone is more than my monthly membership fee even with your dumb R3. 00 discount. Why can't we gym for free like all the other gyms. Many years of happy membership with zonefitness and now it makes no sense to stay with you when I can officially now pay less to gym elsewhere. Tried sorting this out with s senior at the gym because a manager was unavailable and they say this is just how it is yet pick n pay gives full validation at most malls if you buy something. I bought something, my monthly fee is my something. I hope someone can get in touch and help me resolve this or I will be forced to take my over atleast 8years of loyal membership and the new members I brought in and leave which will be a pity.

Zone Fitness been handed over to collection agency although contract has been paid in full and cancelled

My wife Jennifer Williams Zonefitness account has been settled and closed which was confirmed by Zady Van Rooin e-mail address ([protected]@zonefitness.co.za) but for the last three months I have been receiving telephone calls from collection agencies demanding payment and that it would effect my credit record if not settled.
I have called and e-mailed Zady regarding this issue and she reassures me everytime that they will fix the problem at Zonefitness.
Clearly someone is not doing their job.

Zone Fitness stealing, thieves

MY DAUGHTER and we attend ZONE FITNESS, but we go to RONDEBOSCH because it's closer to us, and on 2 OCCASIONS, SOMEONE STOLE MONEY FROM HER PAUSE which was in a bag and in another bag in a LOCKED LOCKER, FIRSTLY IT WAS EIGHT HUNDRED RAND, SECOND INCIDENT WAS HUNDRED AND FIFTY RAND, MY DAUGHTER does not want to attend that gym anymore, she feels that someone just INVADED in her PERSONAL BELONGINGS WHICH I TOTALLY AGREE.
I spoke to the MANGER which he says the is nothing they can do and it happened before, so this tells me that this person can just go ahead and STEAL AGAIN and AGAIN, WHY IS THEIR NOTHING GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT IT.
ITS not about the MONEY, ITS THE PRINCIPAL BEHIND IT MAN,
I'M A VERY FURIOUS MOTHER, MY DAUGHTER IS A STUDENT, yes i know some people would say WHY DOES SHE GO TO GYM WITH HER MONEY, but the fact remains is how and why do people STEAL thing's that don't BELONG TO THEM BECAUSE IT SHOULD BE SAFE...

This happened to me once again. I haven't lodged a formal complaint as I was aware of the issue and used a 'cheap lock' as I misplaced my other one.

I put my purse under all my clothing, rolled the r180 cash up and put it where my cards are.

This indicates that someone literally unpacked my entire bag to search for money. Why is Zone Fitness Rondesbosh not instilling any stricter security measures?

Zone Fitness cancellation of gym membership

First your agents are the most dishonest people in the gym industry. I contact your offices trying to cancel my membership, I am told a whole lot of information that I was not told before when getting my membership. The worst part of it all is that, before signing my contract I ask about the cancellation process I was told I can freeze my account until it ends. Now that has changed. When I make payments to cancel I'm told I must pay my cancellation fee then my contract will be cancelled. Today I'm told I was paying for arrears first, so clearly my contract will not be cancel until I pay the whole amount how. Where have you seen such terms. When their email clearly states pay your cancellation fees in order to cancel your contract. What is the solution to my problems and the misrepresention I got from agent about my membership.

Zone Fitness membership not closed

I settled my membership in 2016/2017 and rejoined a new one because the was a promotion of R199 while mine was R250. I have a membership currently which is in areas because I'm unemployed I can't pay. Anthea Plaatjies confirmed my account was settled and her manager Michelle Bartlet should have closed it but it was not and now nimble says I'm owing R4000+ handed over 2017 to them. Sheena Peterson says my account was handed over 2018 with R1089. This is sooo frustrating as no one is assisting me I'm being harassed by nimble everyday gawsh.

Zone Fitness cancelled but still deducting

I cancelled my month to month contract and paid R540 to do so yet money was still deducted from my account on the 2nd June? I went into your westgate branch to query this and was assured my money will be back in my account by the 10th June, no word from Zonefitness.

Please do not tell me to reverse the balance with my bank, this was your error why should I sit in a bank queue for hours when the money was never meant to be removed from my account to begin with!

Zone Fitness putrid client service willowbridge

I enquired about how I would go about cancelling one of the memberships linked to my account. I was told by a representative Margo Mourton that:

1. I need to pay 60% of the amount of months outstanding of the 2 year contract.

2. I need to pay this amount by the 20th of the month.

No where in the email correspondence was there any communication that I need to cancel the contract within 20 business working days for the next installment not to be debited off my account.

Today, 20/05/2019 I wanted to cancel my gym membership going about the same process I was initially told by Margo, and I am utterly disgusted by the service I received by one of your client service employees in Willowbridge.

I am infuriated with the disgusting service I received today 20/05/2019 from Chantel which apparently operates in client services.

She has no way of speaking to clients, she was deliberately sarcastic and I am not impressed with the service I received. I am actually dissatisfied and I will never speak good about Zone Fitness going forward and I will voice my complaints about this bad service on social media platform.

I have paid the cancellation fee of R482.5 including a cash handling fee (which I do not understand - as the receptionist did not even deal with any cash). Pending another installment to be deducted again the 01/06/2019.

I have previously received bad service from Zone Fitness when I cancelled another membership linked to my account and money was still deducted end of month; the representative Chantel dealing with this matter was always out of office; when she eventually got back to me she responded and stated that the money will be refunded within 7 business working days. It took 3 weeks before I received the money back in my account. I received no apology for the inconvenience caused.

Zone fitness service is putrid, your employees do not know how to speak to clients.

Maybe you should invest in providing your employees with a course on how to treat clients with proper client service. The client is always right.

Resolution:
I request that the installment 01/06/2019 not be deducted since my membership has been cancelled.

Zone Fitness misleading information about joining

All I can say about the consultant that helped me is that she told me just lies to get sales. I was under the impression that ill be joining my partner on one fee called a "upgrade" but now I have to pay separate amount. Whats up with that! Im beyond furious! And when I call to cancel I was told to pay r1452 cause I signed a 2 year contract but the consulted told me the papers im signing is just to say that im physically fit to join the gym and that im sure that ill be joining my partner also to confirm my membership. Nothing about a contract nothing about my own transaction that will be deducted from my partners account. Misleading information that is very upsetting.
I refuse to pay any cancellation fee and I refuse to pay an account that wasn't explain properly.
27feb 2019 was the day I got that misleading info.
I will take this to court if I have to. If you train your employers not to lie and cheat there way to the top this wont happen. I'm very unhappy and furious with the girl that helped me.

Zone Fitness cancellation fees

Last year I signed up to zone fitness with the agreement that I would be paying 360 a month for their national membership that allows myself and my sister to gym at any zone fitness in south africa,

Havent even got as far as going to the gym, I left my job and money was not being paid into my capitec account any longer last month was the first month that they started debiting and they debited r495,

I left it that as I took it that I need to pay the amounts owing, they first sent me a message saying I owed about r1200 now this was before the r495 deduction now they sent me an email saying I owe r1595? Like please i'd like to meet their acountant.

So today I sent that I would like to cancel and they send me an email saying no problem I need to pay the r1526 and then a cancellation fee of r4300? So r5826 for a person that has never used their facilities ever, they're threatening me with lawyers now too:) hahahaha

What am I suppose to do, I havent used their facilities once,

I requested my contract that I signed as well as a detailed report of how they worked out that amount and I am still waiting 2 hours later, they were very quick to email me amounts to pay but they failed.

Zone Fitness service

Every month you guys send an sms, saying that my debit order gone though but then a few days later you guys call me like crazy saying that my debit order bounced back. WTF!

I tried to cancel my account, I called in, a representative literally dropped the line "while" transferring me to her manager.

You guys are so sloppy honestly.

I was now advised that I have to pay a cancellation fee, but the guy who signed me up did not advise me that there is a contract break fee and how I have to a cancellation fee to get rid of you guys.

Worst service I've ever received!

Zone Fitness out of order a/c

I really disappointed about this we are still goerges mall zone fitness have had the studio air con not working for two weeks and the heat and the smell is unbearable and ridiculous for a big brand like this it's really inhuman and must be fixed immediately you guys are quick to take our money monthend but take forever to fix thngs its unacceptable

Zone Fitness reception area

Good day

I joined Zone Fitness at Westgate 2 years ago and ever since I experienced the unprofessional staff at the reception area that never greets, they always having their own conversations. I was previously at Virgin active and my experience there was memorable due to the professional staff that always made me feel welcome and I know I can speak for everyone else. It's seems like Zone fitness Westgate only want sales and have people join but there's no passion for customer service. I work for Old Mutual and I take pride in Customer service and that's the reason why I feel so disappointed in the receptionist because they are the image that should represent the Company. Also, what I noticed is that only certain people are greeted that they might know personally and why I say personally because those people get hugs, hand greeting etc.

Please note that I had this conversation amongst people that belongs to Zone Fitness Westgate that works with me at Old Mutual and coincidently all of us are experiencing the same issue with the staff. I hope that this complaint will be raised with all staff at the reception area and staff walking the floor because there's no harm to put on friendly faces and greet people they make eye contact with. Maybe it would help if staff members are sent on customer service training, that's my suggestion.

I hope that I would find joy in future going to the gym after this complaint and not having to put this complaint on Hello Peter.

Zone Fitness payment/cancellation of membership

Good day, I would like to make a complaint against Zone Fitness Brackenfell.

I took out a contract with them. I was then informed that I was going to be unemployed and then after that I find out I was relocating to Port Elizabeth.

I informed Zone Fitness immediately that I was going to be unemployed and will be relocating to Port Elizabeth, where I learned that there is no Zone Fitness gym.

I don't have any income and don' have money to pay for my arrears account.

Zone Fitness Brackenfell was informed from the beginning, but still they are going on that I must pay the arrears.

Why do I need to pay for a service of gym membership if I can't use it in Port Elizabeth?

I don't mind paying my arrears amount, like I am doing, by paying R150 when I can make a payment. But why must I pay a cancellation fee if, Zone Fitness has no gym in Port Elizabeth?

I'm now going to be handed over to the attorneys and being blacklisted for something I informed them of from day one.

For the last two months, Zone Fitness have been sending me reminders of overdue fees. Shortly after receiving the first notice, Zone Fitness was informed telephonically that it was a case of mistaken identity as I was never a member of any of their clubs.
It seems that this message was not acted apon as I am now receiving letter of demans and threat of legal action from nimblegroup attorneys.

Just a friendly reminder that any further reminders/legal action notices will result in legal action on my behalf

Zone Fitness unauthorized debit dates and amounts

Good day

I need clarity on my account, I was debited today a day not set for my debit orders.
I want to see where I agreed for the debit to be taken this time of the month, and also why I was debited R180 x3 for September with funds available in my account.

I was debited this amount in August as well and I'm still awaiting feedback to confirm if my son that was 12 is supposed to be a signed member although I'm paying for his account its mainly to get him with us at the gym.

When we signed up we were promised bags and bottles we only received 1 bottle and shower gel all we have been getting is promises and nothing more.
I have been in communication with accounts at Lenasia but my questions are not being answered.

I work for a financial institute and this can mess up my life, as I actually received threatening messages about being handed over in August hence quick payments was made.

Your urgent response will be appreciated.
If I knew I would experience such misery I would have never have joined zone fitness

Zone Fitness cancel membership

Zone Fitness - Cancel Membership Request

Dear Ma'am; Sir,

Please could you assist the following, I urgently require assistance with regards to the cancellation of my Zone Fitness gym membership. I have been trying for weeks and months to get feedback in order to resolve this issue and finalize once and for all.

In September 2017 I signed up a 24 month super club membership with the extremely helpful gentlemen - Arthur at the Cape Qtr branch.
However a few months ago, my life changed due to personal reasons and as a result I had to relocate to Durban, KZN. I had been accepted to study at a Ministry School in Mozambique, called Iris Global, however unfortunately there has been severe terrorist attacks in the area near to the school and therefore the Mozam. Government has cancelled students visas in Mozam. until further notice. This only happened after I had already relocated from Cape Town to Durban to prepare for my Schooling in Mozam.
Unfortunately, there are no ZF gyms in KZN. Before relocating I had several discussions with the Area Manager who was visiting the Cape Qtr branch and then another Area Manager at the Kloof St. branch who both said it wouldn't be a problem to cancel my membership due to my personal circumstances. However upon querying and sending several emails upon my arrival in KZN, I was informed by Head Office that this would not be possible. I am actually greatly disappointed that there has not been an understanding from Zone Fitness management and I am asking if my query could be looked into due to the change of events in Mozambique. I am not working in a full time job at the moment as I am waiting in limbo to hear from the Mozambiquan Gov. through the School - Iris Global about whether or not I can travel over in the next few months to Mozam. For now I am in Durban and am unfortunately not able to benefit from training at a Zone Fitness gym since May 11th. Debits of R225 are still coming off my bank account.
Please may I ask for a consideration to be made due to my sensitive unforeseen circumstances as unfortunately I am actually not able to afford paying R225 every month till next year September upon which time my contract expires as I am not actually in Cape Town.
I appreciate your assistance in this regard and I look forward in hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Zone Fitness unauthorized fraudulent member

This person needs to be banned from all Zone fitness branches, he is not able to join zone fitness again as his credit record with zone fitness is in bad credit. he is now on someone elses membership, this member needs to be banned to for fraud. cards he is currrently using is [protected] & [protected]. i am sure if you check his id you will find that he is comitting fraud, posing as id 890417 instead of 790417

Zone Fitness I have been billed for a month after I cancelled my zone contract.

To whom it may concern.

I opened a Zone Fitness account at Westgate Mall Mitchell's Plain and my contract expired the end of June 2018 as I was told.

So I followed the necessary arrangements and cancelled it before then.

I understand the premiums should have gone off the end of June which it have, however one premium still went off end of July.

I went in and informed them of it end of July and spoke to Lee.

He has been making empty promises to me informing me I will be called first by Head office, then I was told that the person working with these types of case would call me Monday the 13/08/2018 .

I had to call back now on my own airtime yet again and was told by Lesley that that specific guy is still on leave for this week, yet no one cared enough to call me to inform me there of and there are no substitute to take his place in his absence.

I requested to speak to the manager and she is only coming in at 08h30 and Lesley took my details and informed me she will call me back, which she has not done yet.

I will call back at 9 as I have informed him, if she did not call.

And I will not pout down the phone if I am positive that it will be sorted today, or I will go to the police station and lay a charge for theft, because this payment was unauthorised and now they are delaying everything by not paying back my money.

Kindly urgently assist anyone.

Zone Fitness fees I know nothing about

My name is helen langa, the gym recently contacted me and told me i'm owing more than r5000.00 for missed payments that had absolutely nothing to do with me because I instructed them to debit my account. No one is willing to assist me in this regarding and it is so frustrating. I went to the gym and a guy who assisted me emailed the query to the head office but i'm still unable to get help. Zonefitness is failing dismally to resolve my complaint. They keep sending me from pillar to post.

Zone Fitness pathetic service from the lenasia store

I was pregnant in December when the guy said I should join it will be frozen...I phoned in January to cancel as it was never frozen...to date nothing has happened. Now they giving me a story of 60% cancellation fee when I was in my time. The store in lenasia has been messing me around since then. It is now sitting by the manager that isn't interested in contacting me and also doesn't want to provide me with any contact details for the head office
