The Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) is one of the Canadian economic immigration programs that qualify for participation in the Canadian Express Entry immigration system, effective January 1, 2015.

To be eligible to apply for Express Entry to Canada through the FSWP, you must have at least one year of full-time paid work experience within the past 10 years in one of the dozens of occupations listed in the National Occupation Code (NOC) as Level 0, Level A or Level B occupations which qualify for the FSWP. You will also need to have your English and/or French language skills evaluated (as appropriate) by taking the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam and/or the Test dEvaluation de Francais (TEF), plus you must receive a favorable Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) by an agency authorized by the Canadian government.

During Stage One of the Canadian immigration procedure, our authorized immigration consultants who we collaborate with will review copies of all of the relevant documents required to verify your eligibility to apply for the FSWP through the Express Entry Canadian immigration system. They will also guide you in having your English and/or French language skills evaluated and obtaining your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). The cost of our professional services during this first stage of the Canadian immigration procedure will be as follows, depending on whether you have a Single Application or Double Application:

Stage One (Family Application) = $4, 408

Stage Two of the Canadian immigration procedure will involve the accurate preparation and proper submission of your Express Entry profile. The Express Entry profile contains your relevant details and officially informs the Canadian government that you want to apply for a Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to Canada through the FSWP. When your Express Entry profile is submitted, you should also apply for the Canadian Job Bank so that employers and provinces in Canada who are seeking skilled foreign workers in your occupation will be able to review your details. After your Express Entry profile has been submitted, a Canadian government official will review your details and if they assess that you seem to meet the requirements to apply for the FSWP, they may then move you into the pool of potential immigration candidates. In order to leave the pool of candidates, you must receive an official Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the PR Visa to Canada from the Canadian government. Our immigration consultant who we work with will then have 60 days to submit your Canadian PR Visa Application and all of the necessary documents, plus you will need to pay any required governmental or related fees, so your cooperation will be needed. A decision regarding your PR Visa Application should then be received within six months of the date that your complete PR Visa Application and necessary fees are submitted.

The cost of our professional services during this Second Stage of the Canadian immigration procedure will be made in three installments as follows:

1. Stage Two (1st Installment) = $500 USD (to be paid with the signing of the client retainer agreement)
2. Stage Two (2nd Installment) = $1, 500 USD (to be paid after you receive the Invitation to Apply for the PR Visa to Canada)
3. Stage Two (3rd Installment) = $500 USD (to be paid upon receipt of the Letter of Completion from the Canadian government)

There are many advantages for you and your family in being issued a Permanent Resident (PR) Visa to Canada, including having the legal right to live, work and study long-term in Canada and even to apply for Canadian citizenship in as little as three years! Canada is one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in the world, boasting a strong economy and offering its residents a high standard of living. Consequently, this stable democracy is one of the top destinations for immigrants from around the globe, as evidenced by the approximately 300, 000 people issued a Permanent Resident Visa to Canada each year. It is our goal to help you and your family to also enjoy the many benefits available to those who are approved for immigration to Canada.

Our legal team at Canadian Visa Professionals stays informed on the latest developments related to immigration to Canada and can use its expertise and many years of experience to help you and your family find the easiest and most appropriate route to being issued a Permanent Resident Visa to Canada. As your Personal Immigration Assistant, working in close cooperation with our immigration consultants who we collaborate with, I am prepared to provide you and your family with individualized assistance throughout each stage of this process.

I look forward to helping you and your family in the near future and will be in touch. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me using the information below.
