World Wide Acquisitions wwa false advertiser; scam company

I came in for an interview and was hired on the spot after a 4 minute interview. I was so excited. Then I was led to a vehicle and started canvassing with my mentor. This was advertised as a CSR job that paid up to $25 an hour. False advertising to recruit canvassing workers who get no pay. A complete waste of time. Please don't go to the interview unless you want to work for free. Everyone thst applies gets an interview and the job with no pay.

World Wide Acquisitions Fake Charity Fundraiser

This is a modern day 'Ponzi Scheme'. Stay away.

A bunch of York University college students thought they could be clever by creating fake companies to earn quick money. They target naive people to become door-to-door salesmen and use the REAL FUNDS from donations, product sales, or whatever it is they get you to subscribe to pay THEMSELVES, and give their employees a small cut. When all of this comes to light, you don't want to be caught in the cross hairs. Stay away. All of the fake positive reviews online are by these same alumni former-students.

Some other companies in the chain are Harris Global Enterprise, TNI, and DCF Advanced Marketing

Here is an excerpt from the Ontario Government:
"Charity scam
Phony fundraisers can contact you through mail, e-mail, telephone, or by knocking on your door. They claim to represent a charitable organization that may have a similar name to a legitimate charity. Once you make your donation, there is usually nothing you can do to get your money back."
This is from : https://www.ontario.ca/page/report-scam-or-fraud#section-4

They are trying to make unsuspecting naive people the scam artists by making legitimate looking job postings, don't be a part of it! Report them and RUN!

World Wide Acquisitions package delivery

Hi,

I gave a package to be delivered to UK renfrew city from Lahore Pakistan on 15 June. I payed 5800 for the package. He informed me it will be delivered by 21 june. Now today after 5 days he has called me and asking to pay 3600 more as he has come to know after so many days that it is a remote area. I have used you service many times before and sent the packages but without any remote area charges. Even if remote are chareges are applied, he should have informed me before, not after so many days.

Kindly look in to it as this package is very important to me.

World Wide Acquisitions Very very shady

I applied to a number of places this summer, so when I received an email saying I was being asked to come in for an interview I was excited. My excitement quickly faded after a Google search, and in hindsight the email should've been a red flag too. They didn't have any information about my position in the email, or about themselves as a company. I only knew it was World Wide Acquisitions because of their email address.

On Google, I found a bunch of stories saying that WWA is a door-to-door organization and that they leave out job details until you get there, at which point they ambush you into working during the interview!
Story here: http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/worldwide-acquisitions-boston-massachusetts-c226556.html

Anyway, I emailed them back saying thanks for the opportunity but no thanks.

Two days later I get a call from a company called TNI asking if I was interested in a job. I said yes, not knowing who this company was but I'd applied to so many places I just figured I'd say yes and look it up later. They told me they'd send an email and then she said, "oops, I accidentally sent you the wrong one. Don't look at the first email, the second one is what I meant to show you". I hesitantly said "sure" and hung up.

Listen.
To start, both emails went straight to junk mail because even hotmail knew something was up.
The first email said "We're excited to see you at our office for your first interview at DCF Advanced Marketing (another door-to-door scam)" and the second one said the same thing but for World Wide Acqusitions.

I guess they got their scams mixed up. I was mostly shocked that they called me under a different name after getting my email saying I wasn't interested. That's one I hadn't seen before.

Be careful out there.

World Wide Acquisitions scam

I got a call from someone saying that he is a lawyer wanting me to pay a past payday loan debt. He wanted my debit card information. He wanted me to make a payment today and then set up hard ship monthly payments.
I have not gotten any emails or letters about this debt. He was not willing to send me an email or letter about this debt.
I told him that I am looking up his company on the web. and I find out that Worldwide Acquisitions is a sales company.

I am so glad I did not give him any information oer the phone. This seemed to be a scam. I think they got my information from LinkedIn website.
