World Education Services [WES] Course By Course Évaluation (ICAP)

This is the first time that I am so revolted against a company, they are not only incompetent but also they do not respect their deadlines.

After wasting a lot of time trying to explain to them why I couldn't provide them with a phantom document, I was finally able to get a copy of the document sent by WES from the university for translation.

It took me more than 4 months to get and send them my High School Diploma in My country where the administration is a real hell, especially when dealing with the ministries.

I finally received confirmation that all my documents had been received and a completion date of April 29th, which seemed a little short, considering the deadlines of the university where I plan to apply. I called the customer service to see if it was possible to pay extra for a faster processing, I was told no.

And I'm waiting like an idiot for the fateful date, and you know what?

It's May 3rd and they haven't delivered my evaluation as promised. At the customer service a lady told me in a particularly cold tone that the date was only an estimate! Not only do they take the piss out of me, but they send me to the cleaners after a bill of more than $300, not to mention the costs incurred to send the documents.

So I'm going to miss an opportunity to go to college because I had the misfortune of choosing this company!

I hate you guys!

Desired outcome: If I miss my first day of school I don't care about your evaluation, give me my money back! This is organized theft, a pure swindle.

Hello

I applied for evaluation of my transcript for credit by credit evaluation and deposited my payment for the same on 8th of March, 2022 and entire formalities from my side and from college side were completed by by 11th of March but since then there is no response from their side on the status of my report. My account at WES website reveals that "WE ARE ANALYSING AND EVALUATING THE DOCUMENTS" Since March 29th 2022. Now it is more than 23 days and we have not received any response / credit by credit evaluation report, where as WES website claims to complete such evaluation with in seven days.

World Education Services [WES] Missing an admission because of their unreasonable delays

So, like everyone else complaining about Wes, here I am. I created an account with them in late January and by early Feb I paid their evaluation fee and the college I previously attended sent them my documents for the doc×doc evaluation. They accepted and the only remaining thing was for me to upload my diploma certificate which was not yet released till late March. So I thought that once I upload it, then my evaluation will not take time. Once I uploaded my degree/diploma certificate is when Wes reject the documents I had sent a month plus ago. Now I had to go back to the previous college I attended and request them to resend my academic transcripts to Wes. It was a hectic process but they finally decided to. Now Wes has received my documents and the evaluation process is still very slow and by the look of things, I can see myself missing an admission with a University because of them. I keep calling their customer services and they take like 20 minutes to pick up and all they do is being sympathetic but there's no action they take nor do they recommend an immediate action or way forward. They just sit around and tell you that they are not the ones responsible for the evaluation process and don't as well connect you to the evaluators. America, being one of the most developed countries, I never expected that this organization based there would behave this lowly. I am very disappointed because I have sent all my documents to the University all they are waiting for is Wes which is not willing to send the documents. I am so frustrated and I feel like Wes has wasted so much of my time, energy and money. I just wish I knew better.

They better send the documents to the University before their deadline which is less than a week.

World Education Services [WES] Verification of documents

My ref. number is 5374278. I have applied to WES in January 2022, with the ask to provide a verification of my medical diploma and credits, received in Russian Medical University. I've payed at once all the fees and provided them with all required documents, both uploaded electonically and by FedEx. However they put my case on hold, since they requested a verification from my University. In response to the request my medical school has already twice provided them with confirmation by email. Despite all effors from my side, it's been already 3 months they do not respond my emails or send any updates.

I am Kindly asking to help me either to get a refund or to push them to fulfill obligations.

World Education Services [WES] Change in Birth Date

Good Day,

My WES Ref# 4364519.

I got my University to send my transcript in December 2021. The Evaluation Credentials Assessment was sent in January 2022.

On the report, i noticed there was an error on my Date of Birth. It showed June 12, 1990. I was born June 12, 1980.

I send a complaint to WES and in their reply email, i was asked to reach out to my University to make the necessary corrections.

I got in touch with my University (University of Lagos, Nigeria) and a second transcript was sent to WES via UPS (W5558073061). Second transcript was delivered to WES on February 25, 2022.

I waited for about 10 days and decided to call. The call representative confirmed receipt of the package but told me that my reference number was not included. I was instructed to send a message through their help button on their site with my reference number and tracking number included in the body of the message.

I did that and nothing has changed since then. To my surprise, i got an email today from the Director of Evaluations with the following information -

"Thank you for contacting us with your concerns.

Evaluation reports are completed using the date of birth on the official academic documents we receive from the institutions.

If you believe that the date of birth on your documents is incorrect, please request that revised official academic documents with the correct date of birth be sent directly to WES from your institution. When we receive the updated documents, we will review and update your information as we determine is appropriate."

This was the same mail i got in January 2022. It made me wonder if WES has reviewed the second transcript sent after i got my University to send a 2ND transcript.

Desired outcome: I will like the second transcript be reviewed as soon as possible and another ECA report be generated with my correct date of birth. That's all.

Subject: Unfair and Frustrating Process of Evaluation of WES Canada

Dear Madam/ Sir,

As a Canadian and a Ph.D. graduate, I submitted an evaluation application to WES Canada ( Doc. by Doc.) in early Jan. 2022. The people are not going to follow their own rules as comes in their website.

I have followed them in recent 10 weeks and sent them all the required docs I have been asked for. Moreover, during the time I sent a number of explanation emails and letters to justify the forwarded docs in a singed and sealed parcel directly to them. But they still insist on their first-week evaluation for an unfair

evaluation report.

It really gets a frustrating process of my explanations and their denials repeatedly and back and forth.

Please find below my recent explanation letter to them but they are asking reputedly the same missing items required at the first week of evaluation.

World Education Services [WES] No update on my status* frustrating!!

I am almost revoked from my admission due to delay from WES. I waited for more than 2 weeks after my documents have been submitted to the office but I do not hear any update on my application.

They do not have a good customer service either. Please be careful before you submit your application. I suggest not to use the service from WES.

It makes me sad knowing that we pay for the service and in return we do not get the service.

World Education Services [WES] No Insight into quality of Organizations

Very pathetic organization which has no idea on what the quality of education is in other countries.

Prospective students and immigrants from India who have done their MBA/PGDM from India, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT USE WES for Education Evaluation. For MBA the only people they would provide Masters for MBA is the below as per policy on Feb, 2022.

WES has updated its policy specific to master's degrees in business administration and postgraduate diplomas awarded in India. WES recognizes business study in India as equivalent to a master's degree in Canada a) when the student has completed a three (3) year MBA or b) when the credential is awarded by Indian Institutes of Technology or Indian Institutes of Management.

This will lead you to lose 7 critical points in IRCC just because WES has no idea of XLRI, SP Jain, NITIE, MDI etc and how difficult it is to get into those colleges.

World Education Services [WES] WES never completed the evaluation of my documents

The company's customer service is not good. Unfortunately, they have no respect for their customers. The first time I called the company (before paying the fees), the customer service agent talked over me, reading the lines she learned by heart. Then when I insisted that she was not answering my question, she said "Oh, I am new. I do not know the answer to that question". That should have been a red flag for me. Nevertheless, I proceeded with the payment as there are no many companies that provide such services. Guess what?! Almost two months have passed. They never completed evaluating my documents. As a result, my documents were withdrawn from consideration at the university I applied for. The university could not process my application without those documents that WES was supposed to evaluate.

When I requested WES to refund my money, they said they would not issue a full refund. The US-based companies are known for their exceptional customer service! I personally always had a good experience with almost all other organizations/companies. Unfortunately, WES is not one of them.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive a full refund. Also I wish there would be more companies providing such services so then people do not have to deal with disappointing approaches of WES.

World Education Services [WES] Documents

Back in 2020 I sent my original documents to WES since that's what they used to ask in the website NOW in 2022 it says very clear that they don't accept original documents I sent them myself (reson why they rejected them so why not return them?) and also my university send the only original copy of them they can keep those I want the ones I sent. Ok I made a mistake but they can't destroy my irreplaceable original documents. They will be destroying my life. I called them, ended up talking to a superviser that do nothing for me but tell me to write an email to the corresponding department, which I had already done before but after that I wrote again several emails begging them to returned them to me offering to pay whatever or go wherever to pick them up and still no answer. I will continue emailing since calling had probed to be useless and stressful. I accept I made a mistake but they can't destroy those documents I feel they are just delaying the answer so they can tell me they already destroyed them and I don't think they had since they just validated them last November. I wake up every day full of anguish and anxiety. Please help!

Desired outcome: The return of my documents. The originaI ones I sent and they rejected. Bachelor degree original title and grades and subject certificate. Master degree original title and grades and subject certificate.

I got my bachelor credit for around 140 credits, for a 4-year program, which is ok, but for a 1.5 years masters program I got 147 credits. I do not know what are they smoking while working in their office. It has been 2 weeks since I contacted them, but still no update. All they are saying is that I will get an update, but they can't say when. They are stupid as [censored]

World Education Services [WES] evaluation is wrong

Hi,

I am a student studying in a UK university, I have submitted my complaint several times after they produced my grade report, not nobody responded to my complaint. My GPA is heavily underestimated. It has been a month! I want someone specialist to recalculate my GPA score. It should be 3.80, not 2.97, please follow the UK class system to caluclate.

World Education Services [WES] Not mentioned my course duration in my wes report

I got my wes report last year it has assessed my diploma in early childhood education in modern Montessori International London.
The report has mentioned that I have completed my diploma in the year 2014 .the report has not mentioned my diploma courses duration it is mentioned only the year of my completion, as this is crucial over to my visa application which was referred by my immigration lawyer as this could be a reason for my visa rejection for work permit..since my visa quota has a limited time period which will be closed for application very soon within few weeks, therefore I request to get a new wes report mentioning my course duration of one year, started from August 2013 to August 2014 along with my acceptance of Canadian credential equivalent.
please be kind enough to send it through airmail or through email if possible which is more faster hence I can proceed with my visa as soon as possible

World Education Services [WES] Delay on an urgent order

I ordered a duplicated report for 2-day air delivery.

I placed the order on 12/14. The report was not even printed in 12/21. When I contacted the customer service, the only thing they can do is an "escalation form". There is no manager to talk, no better solution to offer and no contact for a complaint line!

And I had to pay myself to upgrade to a faster delivery method to cover your mistake!

My job depended on this report and I guess I had to swallow it.

World Education Services [WES] They changed my ordered services last minute.

After contacting WES I ordered a course by course evaluation as they instructed me to do so. The day before yesterday I received an email from WES saying they cannot deliver this type of evaluation and they notified me they will provide another type of evaluation (document by document).

I contacted them to inform them a doc by doc evualution is not useful for us and therefore prefere to cancel my order. They replied they cannot cancel anymore because the evaluation is ready to be send in 4 days. No supervisor could talk to me, no email to make a complaint. I could only fill in the contact us form, off course that way I have no proof I requested cancellation and refund.

I believe it is not possible to change ordered services last minute and then deny a client to cancel it.

World Education Services [WES] Service

For over a year now I have not been able to evaluate my diploma(Status: On hold), for the following reason:
I could not put an apostille on the diploma, because the employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused to do so, having learned that the diploma would go to Canada (explaining this by the fact that Canada did not sign the Hague Convention) In return, the employee of the ministry offered to affix the legalization of the document, and I agreed without seeing another solutions.
In the absence of an apostille, it was necessary to additionally obtain confirmation from my educational institution.
I found out that my university has already sent a physical confirmation email 2 times(both were delivered), but there is no information in my account. I constantly ask to check this information, but in response I receive a standard letter:
"Dear Nasiba,

Thank you for your message.

Your academic records have been sent to the institution for verification. The status for these documents will be updated in My Account once their response is received and accepted by WES. Please note that WES will automatically re-send the verification request to your institution every seven weeks if we do not receive their response. There's nothing that you need to do.

The verification of academic documents is part of the WES evaluation process. Although the verification of documents can take time, the end result will provide you with real benefits because it confirms that your documents are authentic. "

World Education Services [WES] They are cheating on my report.

I open my file in WES and paid the fee in 2018, they sent to me the requirements to qualify for my certificate which I gained from my backcountry. I sent all the requirements from the backcountry, and finally, they did the qualification, and supposed to send the copy of their report to me and one to the CSMLS organization, which I need them to accept this qualification. I was surprised that they send me a copy different from the copy they have sent to CSLMS, resulting in this mistake CSLMS reject my application to qualify certificate unless they correct this mistake in their copy
WES refused to correct it, I have both copies with me and I need them to correct this mistake.

World Education Services [WES] They lost one of my official papers

I have sent 3 stamped and signed envelopes to WES, containing official papers from my universities: one envelope containing papers for my Bachelors, one for my M.A. and one for my Doctoral Degree. All 3 were sent as one single envelope through express post.

They accepted all papers, but they are stating they have not received one: "Doctoral Degree Confirmation, Título de Doctor/a, 2019", which is a written statement from the awarding institution indicating the date the degree was conferred and the major.

I have specifically instructed the university to write that paper for me, and I made sure that they had all the papers I asked for, before sealing the envelope. I have check again with the university and the person in charge of my papers and they have confirmed once again that the aforementioned paper was written and placed in the envelope with the other Doctoral Degree official documents.

I need WES to check again all the papers from the envelope containing my Doctoral Degree documents. The paper they are asking for is there. If WES lost my paper, this means the university will need to send again that official document. In this case, besides the authentification of my degrees, I also want a refund.

On a side note: they had done the same thing to my wife. She had to send the same paper twice because of their incompetence.

Desired outcome: Resolution, or authentification of my degrees+refund.

World Education Services [WES] ECA report (Document-by-Document)

Please understand my situation. I would require an "additional report" for IRCC from WES Canada. I understand that my ECA report (Document-by-Document) does not have an expiration date. the official transcripts were sent directly by the institution (Manav Bharti University, Himachal Pradesh), and you all verified the information and later issued the attached ECA report, according to the WES Canada. WES examined the data and provided the ECA report [edited] on June 27, 2016. The Canadian Equivalency Summary for my Master's degree

Every university charges a fee to verify official transcripts for WES Canada; I paid those fees in the past around June, 2016, do you think it's reasonable for WES Canada to ask clients to pay such fees multiple times for the same verification? I'd like this case to be escalated to WES Canada's director.

I have paid for the service ECA report (Document-by-Document), so please update your reports according to the ECA report [edited] released on June 27, 2016, or remove the following credential for Manav Bharti University, Himachal Pradesh. Do justice to your clients and please provide a solution!

If WES Canada failed to validate my credentials before providing the ECA report in 2016, please issue a refund of $322.05 or kindly update my report status as per the attached ECA report issued by WES Canada as on June 27, 2016 if you have properly confirmed my credentials.

I have already reported this to Better Business Bureau [edited]. How can WES change the status to "on hold" since the attached ECA report was completed 5 years ago by WES Canada ? According to the ECA assessment, the official transcripts were sent directly by the university. WES evaluated the data and issued the attached ECA report [edited].
