WoodSprings Suites the hotel staff

I stayed a night in this location and it was the most disgusting horrible experience I have ever had in my life. First off the lady at the front desk (no name tag) black female did not put me in the system which I found out later on when a couple (male and a female) got into my room... They apologized and told me that they had the same room or... I was fine with it I was like ok mistakes happen I left my room to get some food on my way back my meat didn't work went to the front desk and I was informed by the night shift front desk (had a name tag on I believe was john) that the lady earlier didn't put me in the system sounded very fishy to me any way took me few trips up and down to get the meat reactivated in which didn't at the first try from the front desk. My room taking a shower the room phone didn't stop ringing once I got off the shower I called the front desk and I gave them my room number and that i'm returning their call I received they said no one called. Any way the next morning at 9 am I was still asleep to wake up to a very loud bangs on my door and a male and a female asking check out?! Check out!? I went out and I told them it's 9 am and I know check
Out is at 11 am so why you keep banging on my door? They just ignored it I went to the front desk wanted to ask for a (do not disturb sign) which they don't have and address this issue the front desk was a different black female (no name tag no uniform on) she was extremely rude and smelled very badly. I asked why she isn't wearing a uniform or a name tag she said she doesn't wear them also she feels threatened when people complain to her they few minutes later when i'm in my room taking a shower getting ready to leave another bang on my door it's the police (they were very nice) and told me that I had to leave which I was already doing before they get there and it was the front desk who called them on me. I explained and the cops said they already get lots of calls from theses people and appetantly something isnt right with these staff. I said the reason I come to this place was the high rate they said it's because a new place and wait it a year or so and see how the business will go with this management. Also I heard that some people get charged extra fees for smoking at this location even if they don't smoke or use any tobacco at all. And one more thing the whole environment was terrible people gathering out side the hotel entrances talking loudly the whole night I don't even know if they are guests or just hang around all the entrances of this hotel.
I believe that these two front desk are very uneducated and also racists towards minorities and other ethnicities since I have a different name to them... Even though I have been in the states almost all my life I wasn't going to write this complaint since I already left a review but then when I saw another review I kind of felt it's the case with this hotel staff and I had to write this complaint to you

WoodSprings Suites awful customer service/unfair charge.

My experience with this hotel was truly horrible. I work for a local refugee resettlement agency, and often we have to house newly arrived refugees in hotels while they are waiting for their apartments to be ready. We checked a family in and out of the hotel over a weekend, and noticed several days later that there was a $250 smoking charge. Immediately I addressed this with the family, who were stunned. They did not smoke - the family who stayed in this room hadn't used tobacco in fifteen years - I have medical files from the International Organization of Migration to back this up. They said they noticed a smell coming from an ashtray which was located below their window, but they themselves did not smoke.

After calling the front desk of this hotel, my colleague patiently asked if they had found evidence of any cigarette butts, or if it is possible that another room was the origin of the smell. My colleague asked to see pictures, and even explained that we have records showing no current tobacco use. The staff person who was on the line was extremely rude and said that the cleaning staff smelled tobacco but that they had no pictures, and eventually hung up on us in the middle of the conversation.

I called again today, to explain again that this family did not smoke in the room and had no history of tobacco use in the last fifteen years. The staff person on the line proceeded to say that they found evidence of marijuana (a new piece of information) and that they had pictures of the fire alarm being covered up. I stated that I would be happy to take a look at those pictures and see if she would like to see their medical documents. Keep in mind - we transported this family directly from the airport to the hotel. They were under constant watch, as they have no transportation, no English skills, and no ability to navigate life - much less acquiring drugs - in the United States. I offered to come to the office to speak with a manager, but the receptionist staff was belligerent, uncooperative, and unkind. She again hung up on me mid-sentence as I was trying to set up an appointment.

I have never experienced such blatant disrespect from a hotel staff. I will certainly never partner with this hotel again to house newly arrived families in the United States, and will tell as many people as I can about this horrible and unjust charging policy. My gut says that the hotel staff made up the charge to cover something else up, given that they were completely unwilling to speak with anyone from my organization, gave two completely different stories to me and my colleague, and had no evidence to back their claims.

WoodSprings Suites rooms and standards

I've lived here for a very long time and until about 10 days ago it was understood and a completely defined rule that you were not aloud to smoke in the rooms at all or you would be kicked out. Now every single night I come here from work around midnight the whole damn first floor smells so bad like marijuana it is making my wife sick to her stomach to the point of vomiting! Unacceptable, we could care less if people smoke a little weed but it should be outside and it's never ever been aloud inside and it's so bad my room stinks like it now. Like I said we have been here a very long time and go to work and come home and keep to ourselves. But this last couple of weeks it smells so bad at night it disgusting. U can smell it the second you walk in and through the walls. We don't want to get anyone in trouble but I mean before no one ever thought of smoking weed inside, EVER, now it's every day. I'm sure the manager doesn't know because it's late at night and I know she wouldn't allow it. We don't know what else to do and after being here this long and keeping our little home in perfect condition we want it to stay this way. We chose to stay here to mostly get away from the drugs because it costs more and it keeps most of that stuff out or at least out of sight. We are not happy about this at all and won't stand for it. Please do something about it. We paid a ton of money to get to the point of the rate we are at and didn't complain after it got raised a month ago, not had anyone done anything about the internet that never ever works even though we pay for the "supposedly" best one. We have to call over and over and over to try and get it to work correctly and it never does. Tried complaining to them, the front desk, the technician support line and absolutely nothing. Thousands of dollars spent and nothing is ever done, and now it smells like a skunks [censored] every time we come home after a long night of work. Please do something immediately about this. We understand living in a weekly comes with some of this activity but it should never be allowed inside the building ever, it horrible and disgusting, we moved here expecting high standards and I've listed the problems we deal with every single week but we can't take this and we shouldn't have to. We pay to much money and we take care of your building, we pick up trash, cigarette butts, beer bottles because we don't want to see it turn into the other weekly hotels. We are just so mad about this we don't know what to do but it in a word pissing us off, so do something about this ASAP! We are loyal and want to stay that way but we expect some kinda of action to take place! Please help. I mean we are in our room and it stinks, badly stinks. If u could smell this message you would be pissed also

We also see this all the time. Junkie on the couch in the lobby right now on god knows what at 215. He only shows up after 10 pm

WoodSprings Suites disabled person urine odor complaint

I am disabled and I was put into a regular room. I provided my own elevated commode seat, but urine would go over the front occasionally. I bought my own mop and cleaning supplies and kept the floor clean. After my car was damaged by another resident, the manager and assistant manager claimed that they received a urine odor complaint that urine could be smelled in the hallway and another room. The room #130 was air tight. The walls, ceiling and floors were all sealed up tight. The fire door was tight and no light could be seen around the door. I could smell other people cooking, so the cooking range exhaust was being sent to other people's rooms instead of outside of the hotel. Management was disability shaming and harrassing me, claiming since I was the only one known to have a "urine odor", that the smell had to be coming from my room. The general manager even went so far as to go to the bathroom door and sniff visibly and state that she could smell a little urine odor, which was in the trashcan only. I have a small urine leakage like lots of women my age. The hotel is blaming the visitors for things that the hotel itself is to blame for. Odors are the hotels fault. The only thing connecting the rooms together is the vents and plumbing. This hotel WoodSprings Suites Hotel in North Macon is not keeping their cooking range exhaust vents unclogged and the carbon monoxide is remaining in the building. Also they claim online to be 100% non smoking, but they are constantly allowing people to smoke cigarettes in the building.

I moved to the other WoodSprings Suites Hotel in West Macon, but they also don't take blame for anything and blame everything on the paying customers. I will be doing a separate complaint for that hotel.

But WoodSprings Suites Hotel had a lot of noise also. I heard that they were getting noise complaints about other people there. These hotels should have enough SOUND PROOFING of the rooms, so no one hears others having sex, watching TV, or talking in normal voices, but the hotel, rather than admitting that they are to blame for most of the noise being heard around the building, because of a lack of MINIMUM Sound proofing of the hotel rooms... The hotel 100% of the time, they blamed the paying customers for all the noise complaints. The management never investigates how noise or odors, etc are getting from room to room, she just blames one of the paying customers who don't have any right of self defense. She puts whoever she blames as GUILTY and doesn't give due process of law where you are innocent until proven guilty. Please stop this abusive hotel.

WoodSprings Suites Lying, making me out to be a junkie and being kicked out

Checked in on July 15th 2019 and stayed there till yesterday which was September 2nd, 2019 and time I was there no complaints were ever called on me, I kept to myself and I am a traveling construction worker so that means I'm just here to sleep and mayority of my time is at work. Had to pay for a full week for the upcoming labor day holiday even tho I wasnt there friday, Saturday or sunday which is fine but when I came back yesterday to pay for another week supposedly housekeeping found needles under my bed which I definitely know isnt true plus housekeeping doesnt clean rooms everyday I know this and I knew someone was coming into my room and told the front desk twice about it and nothing was done. I always turn my tv and all lights off when I leave out in the morning I come in and my lights are on and tv. Things are misplaced, they are redoing the hotel so anyone could've came into my room. So I got kicked out and the law called on me for something that was planted, staged and a complete lie. This hotel has drugs running all thru and the cops even know about it. I take random drug tests, hair folica tests and pass everyone cause I DONT DO DRUGS but yet found needles in my room under the bed? I clean my own room, have my own vaccum cleaner and btw there was a mountain dew can and bottle cap under my bed so they didnt clean it. I'm complaining cause I was a great attendant and didnt cause any trouble, jo complaints at all, paid up front no questions asked, I kept to myself and didnt bother anyone so why would this hotel allow someone to go into my room while I wasnt there for 3 days and supposedly find needles under my bed? I know housekeeping doesn't clean every day or even every other day. They never touched my room until I was gone for 3 days, room paid in full and been there since july 15th. WoodSprings Suites clean laundry

My Name is Candice Burnside i relocated to Lake Worth Florida May 31st 2019 from Greenville South Carolina for a job as a General Manager with WingStop in West Palm Beach Florida. I Have Been at Wood Spring Suits stating May 31st Paying $807 bi weekly.. I work 6 Days a week 6am untill 9 pm..today is Sunday September !st i got off at 9pm and went down with my dirty Laundry to get clean Laundry expecting to get clean Laundry. but instead i was told they do not have any clean Laundry. so i was forced to go to walmart and buy a sheets and towels for tonight.. not too mention im preparing for hurricane Dorian that about to hit us. WoodSprings Suites they stole money from me

I came from Jacksonville Florida and I booked online to stay here from the 19th of August until the 26th. A few days before on the the 25th I came down to the lobby and paid for an additional day. They charged me $56 and on the 26th they locked me out my room and said I ain't pay an additional day. I asked the guy who I paid for an additional stay and he said it was his fault and the $54 was only a partial payment. And they was trying to charge me an additional $50 to stay one night when your advertising $50 sum dollars a night and was trying to charge me $100 and some dollars for one night and the guy messed up. I need my refund or something. I had to sleep in my rental car that night with my 3 kids because I wasn't from Ohio and had no where to go and my credit card came up missing in the same room they locked me out of.

WoodSprings Suites management/employee

The management along with employee who plays managers role have very bad attitudes towards a lot of guest especially the Hispanic girl iand Gm are on a buddy/buddy system they hang at work they leave the facility together during hours of operation. you will not catch by contacting them and informing of this complain you would have to sneak up with your own eyes. A lot of the residents speak in silence about these two but fear saying anything due to us having to live here. The Hispanic girl says she's a manager and is only a housekeeper and she feels this way of authority cause of the buddy system her and the GM has.

WoodSprings Suites manager

The front girl Courtney never knows what she's talking about, she's lazy and rude as hell. They're always short staffed and over all over worked. Our rooms haven't been clean in a month and feel bad asking. The manager Ashely is never on site and when she is she don't handle complaints and she never responds to our calls. Need better management! Something needs to be done. There's not even a hose keep on site this place is going down the drain this used to be a place my family and I loved to stay.

WoodSprings Suites rooms/chaos

I originally ordered and asked for smoking. I was told no problem. From 3pm to 4:45 I was placed in 4 separate rooms due to unclean, occupied or wrong type assigned. She apologized and was embarrassed but offered nothing. I NEVER GOT A SMOKING ROOM. So I lost 2 hrs and never got what I was told.

2 of these reassignments could have been avoided if someone took the time to look prior to me toting all my stuff everywhere getting reassigned! So aggravating really. I would like a partial refund due to what I received not being as described or delivered. I also paid extra for the night which I am sure should offset the cost of the extra Cleaning staff Clearly needed.

WoodSprings Suites woodspring bentonville arkansas/policy of not letting employees live on site

My cheif complaint isn't necessarily with the hotel itself it's with the policy of only on call can live on the property even though I submitted my resume a month ago for that position and got passed over! I was told I could work there but would have to go stay at another location but if I'm going to do that I might as well just work at the location where I have to stay the point in getting a job at this location is I have no transportation and I have really no place else to go

WoodSprings Suites front desk/ room

It took the desk clerk 10 minutes to come to the front desk although we called 500 as soon as we arrived. The girl acted like she didn't hear us and she was in the back the entire time. However we heard the door slam from her coming outside a few minutes prior. She couldn't get the computer to work to check us in. After calling someone she was finally able to get us checked in. Our room smelled absolutely awful and the lights did not work in our bathroom. We went back to the front desk where there was another woman with the initial woman. The other woman was very rude.We asked for another room and was advised there are no rooms available. She acted rude when we asked for our money back. We never complain and very easy to please. Worst experience!

WoodSprings Suites not helpful and not accommodating

I booked this hotel because of the daily rate I was given...which was not bad. (Booked 25 days). Business related stay. 1st day went up to my room the bed frame was broken. I had to wait a day to get it fixed. By the 3rd day the property ran out of toilet paper and stated they were back ordered lol okay. Went out and bought my own. 5 days in the credit card machine to except payments for laundry was down for over a week. The worst part is yet too come. A week in now i noticed bite marks on my arms 33 of them. I searched the bed and had found BED BUGS in my room headboard and drawer. (Room# 210) So, I booked a hotel nearby because of what I had found. Following day I was told I could not stay in the room and that the manager would not be in until the next day. They did not accommodate me whatsoever! No new room nothing. I Informed the front desk clerk so then we went up to my room to inspect and showed him the evidence. Per property protocol which he stated was too "kill the bugs and keep the evidence for the manger to see and too show the pest control company". Never heard of that! I called Corporate, which there is no corporate to call. It's just "Guest Relations" because each property is individually owned and operated they stated. They informed me that the property manger would give me a call too see how they will accommodate me. Which I never received that phone call till this day. Basically it was a cat and mouse game. So I had made another phone call too guest relations and they stated that pest control had came out and found nothing and that I had made this up in the nicest words. Which all makes sense that pest control did not find anything it's because "property protocol was to kill any bedbugs" I had lost 3 days of work, majority of my clothing thrown away, food in the fridge, my luggage all thrown away.

WoodSprings Suites 137 kempsville road chesapeake, va 2330

I attempted to check in on 8/9/19 but no was at the front desk for Atleast 10 minutes of better with no visible sign saying they would be right back or call another person staying there had to tell us to pick up phone and call 500 or he could text her . Once checked in to room 222 that was another issue the tub had a doughnut size hole in the tub and there were no linens on the bed or towels or wash cloths so I requested a refund or to be moved which I was to 220 which was better but after a late evening out with my kids the door key would not work to the front door or our room so after another 15 minute wait with other guess someone shows up and explains the door has been acting funny all day ! I thought this was going to be a much better experience for me and my kids on a weekend get away especially for 330 hard earned dollars but between the smell of weed the, issues with the room and the keys not working ! I don't think I'll try or recommend a Woodspring Suites . Maybe extended stays are not for me

WoodSprings Suites everything

So we checked in on july 6, 2019. Our room smell like a joint so did the floor. Dirty thru cleaning crew was in there day before. Told them we could not stay there so they move us to a different floor. Floor didnt smell like a joint but cigarettes and was still dirty but we pull all the sheets off and used our own and was told we could move to the 1st floor the following day. We moved again and the room was still dirty cockroaches and burns on the tub and smelled like wet dog and smoke. But we had no were else to go. Was told they would send the cleaning crew for a deep clean in a few days and were sorry it was so bad. Also marks and paint of the walls carpet torn hole in the screen windown broken blinds. After 3 days my wife was sick of the smell we got a vacuum cause the front desk said we couldn't use theirs. And started to GI the room. Just for my wife who was taking the sheets off the bed to be stuck by a needle. And we didnt have cable for a week. Everytime it rains we lose caleb and internet. I talk to gm and was told by him he take care of us and the issues just to find out 3 weeks later he is fired and he never told anyone about cover my bill do to the needle. And now after a week of trying to talk to the RM and corp a round around. They have also up charge our rrom price and didnt give me the discount I was told I get. Worse experience in my life and I lived in Afghan and Iraq multiple times.

WoodSprings Suites the entire room and experience.

I arrived at about 10:20p checked in and went to my room. The hallway was smokey and when I opened my door the experience got worse. My room smelled like someone had just put a cigarette out. The toilet had urine stains all over the seat. The sink had stains all over it. The tub had stains in it. The microwave had rust stains. I went back downstairs and called and waited for the attendant to come out from wherever she was. I told her I needed another room. She told me she would have to get the general manager on the phone to see if she could change my room. She tried to get the general mgr on the phone but she kept complaining that she was being sent to voicemail. I told her I couldn't sleep in that room and I would like a refund and I was checking out. She said the general mgr would not give me a refund. I asked the attendant to write a statement verifying I did not sleep at that hotel and had her sign it. I also took photos of the filth. I went down the street and paid $139 to get a room at the last minute at courtyard marriott. Unbelievable! My cell number is [protected] I would like a call asap! My name is shaun pitts

WoodSprings Suites service

On 8-7-19 We were kicked out of our room here in watford city north Dakota because my wife went down to the front desk and asked the manager if housekeeping could change our sheets and blankets the manager caught a attitude with my wife and was being very rude . All my wife asked is if we could get fresh sheets and blankets and the manger continued to be unprofessional and rude, she then told my wife say one more word and she would kick us out, my wife replied to her asking why because she asked for fresh sheets and blankets . She then told my wife to get out to get our things and leave I was at work when I got the call from my wife and I was very upset to hear we had to leave for a unnecessary reason and my wife our 1yr and 6yr old have to ride around and find us a place to stay I paid a lot of money to stay for 5 days and couldn't even get all my days I reserved.

WoodSprings Suites room

The room was filthy. Never cleaned. Left over pet hair on the floor. The shower was broken and the bathroom had water damage to the point you could smell it do we had to keep that door shut. The tv didn't connect with the controller and it took days to get it resolved. We paid almost 500 dollars from April 25th-May 2nd 2019. We meant to stay for a month but had to leave because of the bad room. I couldn't put clothing or work info in the dresser from left over hair in the drawers. The hallway stunk and the cleaning Crew never did much but spray Lysol. The two pillows were torn and used. Horrible stay. Asked for refund multiple times, wasn't turned down, but they denied I stayed there when I have the bill and the print out! Wish I could get a person who knows what they're doing and can actually assist me instead of hiding from the issue at hand!

WoodSprings Suites room charges without explanation. repeatedly locked out of my room without cause

This is the second month I stayed her for extended time, I have a service dog, she is no charge, I have staff refuse the onnce a month housekeeping because of the dog. I clean my own room yet pay hotel service prices. I pay in advance for the month, the last two month s I was charged 200.00 on june 258 without my knowledge and still dont know for what your have no services here, its a room only. And now this month on the 30 I was locked out away from my dog and personals again they wanted more money, I called corporate I got no where, she told me they made a mistake and the fees were taken off. But yet I had to pay 138.00 yesterday for my reservation I paid in full on the first of the month, I was told I was good until the first, so far its cost me 338.00 plus what gives with the accounting, someone needs to audit this place, your never paid in full they always have a couple hunderd dollars more for you to pay or forfeit your things. What kind of proffessional business practice is this, the hotel assocaition for licensing is my next move. I am disputeng lots of fraudulant chargew and will now have to find another extended place to stay that does not harrass you day to day for money, they teach the girls behind the desk to be mean and cold, rude to say. What gives. I thought this was america respect and all that. Omg do something.

i am a long term paying rn who stays here for work, i have a service dog. which the manager ia guess he is says he knows nothing about that. i pay in advance which is weird, i ve spent my life traveling and no hotels very welll. i pay month to month. yesterday again i left came home and was ALOCKED OUT OF MY ROOM DOG AND ABELONGING INSIDE. this is discpicable to say the least. i was told i could not have access until fees were paid, i have no fees. you offer nothing here but a roon, one i have to cleave myself, wash my own bedding, buy my own towels. etc etc. ok, so your holding my dog hostage and my things for wht. fees. i dont know she says you just have fees. i find this hotel to be missed managed rude in practice, unproffessional. i dont owe fees. i want this clrd up now. last month 200 extra was taken out my account without my knowledge this is theft, THEFT THE OUTSIDE BEER DRINKING ALL NIGHT LONG SEEMS GHETTO AS WELL, I WANT ACCEESS TO MY ROOM WHICH I PAID FOR TIME AND TIME AGAIN, IWANT MISCH. CHAGRGES REFERSERES THEY ARE NOT MINE, I HAVE A SERVIE DOG IT IT IS ILLEGAL TO CHARGE FOR A SEVICE DOG. I WANT RESPECT. I WANT MY ROOM CLEANED I WANT SOMEONE TO RUN THIS HOTEL IF IT IS A HOTEL CORRECTELY I BLIEVE YOUR MAKING UP FEES TO MAKE EXTRA CASH. I WLL GALL THE GOVERNOR IS NEED BE. I WILL NOT LEAVE THS ROOM UNTIL THIS IS RECRTIFIED. ALL OF IT. I DONT BOTHER ANYONE, EVERY AND IM NOT HAVE MY DOG HELD HOSTAGE. OR BE TOLD TO LEAVE, GET OUT. WHO DOES THAT NO ONE I VE EVER SEEN. YOUR RUDE AND CONFRONTATIONAL. I WANT THIS CORRECTED OR YOU CAN PUT ME UP SOMEONE ELSE I AM NOT YOUR HOSTAGE.
