the delivery of my magazine
I would have rather the mailman still deliver my magazine. The [censored] who delivered my magazine just threw it in the middle of my drive. He could have put it in my mailbox because it is along the street. He had to drive by my mailbox in order to throw it in my drive. You advertise door front delivery...that's a [protected]@#$ing joke women's health magazine is wasting their money on your services!
False Advertising
Hello
I accessed a site on facebook advertising the African Mango Diet and
products OrganaSlim and OrganaCleanse for a 30 day free trial. I
decided to go ahead with the free trial (just pay postage) on 19 Dec
2011 and was advised the products would be delivered by 23 Dec 2011.
To date, nothing has arrived but my credit card has subsequently been
debited on 4 Jan 2012 with $93.09 plus $2.79 foreign transaction fee.
On 6 Jan, I then sent a comment on their page requesting refund of the
money (which has now been closed due to spam!) and the email below to
the Women's Health magazine associated with the site and have not
received a response:
TO: "[protected]@rodale.com
I ordered the free trial of the African Mango Diet as advertised on
facebook (using your magazine to promote it) on 19 December 2011 and
was advised on line that the product would arrive on 23 December 2011.
To date, 6 January 2012 nothing has arrived. On 4 January 2012,
$93.09 (plus $2.79 foreign transaction fee) was debited from my credit
card. This payment was NEVER authorised by me for products I have not
received for any free trial. It would be very much appreciated if you
would credit the amount of $106.68 back to my credit card (total of
amounts debited on 19 December 2011 and 4 January 2012. Thank you.
Lynda"
On checking my credit card account this evening 8 Jan 2012, I note
that a further $83.25 (plus $2.50 foreign transaction fee) was debited
to my account on 6 Jan 2012 making a total amount debited of $192.43.
This was supposed to be a free trial and I have now been debited
$192.43 for a product I have not received and now do not want. The
site stated a 100% money back guarantee. I want a full refund of all
monies debited to my account.
Any help you can give me very much appreciated. The transactions on
my credit card listed below:

I'm so glad to have found this site. I was sucked in... hook, line & sinker! The same thing happened to me. I decided to take the chance & try something with a free trial. Thinking the same way, if I liked the product I was going to continue with it. Ordering online in itself is out of character for me. So needless to say this was a big leap in judgement on my part. This was a comlete scam. After seeing that my account was charged two different times & I had not received any product at all I made an attempt to contact the company. Same thing I received an email saying that the site no longer existed & that I had to contact them via phone during normal office hours. Again, a joke. They apparently don't have any office hours. I would really like to know how to file a formal complaint. I know that for the most part I'm just going to have to suck it up & deal with the loss in funds. I have reported them to my financial institution & put a stop on any future fees they may attempt to collect but would really like to find justice if at all possible! I guess I put my trust in the company because they claimed to be backed by Dr. Oz. Never again!
please can someone help me cancel this

I have seen the advert for this product on facebook 2 days ago and must admit I ordered it but that ive seen all these negative comments ive just called them up to cancel the trial and she told me that I have to recive the product first and then send it back and call them up again to cancel. I dont know whats gona happen next I guess I have to wait and see. Any recommendations on what to do now ? Thanks :)
I found the product to be ABSOLUTELY USELESS – 2 x $5.95 trial for Coleanse and Cellan turned into my credit card being charged for over $170.00 they provided no information on who had drawn the funds so BEWARE

@ I dispise apathy - this is not a place for trolling.
Thanks for your comments without these comments I would not have realised this was a scam unfortunately I read this 2 days too late. I contacted my bank and reported this as fraud and cancelled my credit card. This was false advertising and the terms and conditions need to be obvious and not misleading.
reply to 'I dispise apathy' no one is asking for sympathy we are just trying to warn others so they dont get scammed, and just to state a fact I DID read the terms and conditions and followed it precisely, I cancelled within the time stated by email and by phone than I cancelled a 2nd time. This company has committed outright theft, and while I'm embarrassed I got robbed I'm not sorry I'm a trusting person.
collection agency
I received a letter from a collection agency for a request for payment from their client Women's Health Magazine. I did have a year subscription that I paid for up front. I am not sure why they sent me to a collection agency I have never received any other notices that I was in default of payment. I just canceled my subscription and plan on contesting their action in the next business day. I take my credit seriously and I am appalled that my credit might be damaged by a $15 transaction. I have no intentions of ever renewing my subscription.

I just had the same thing happen to me! I cancelled my subscription after my one year trial and now I have a collection agency requesting payment. I already paid for the trial year but decided against renewal. What money are they after? I wasn't very impressed with the magazine in the first place!

Delinquent Notice for Non-Subscription
This is in regards to a collection notice sent by a Mr. Vincent Maretti, manager of collections department for Women's Health Magazine. Mr. Maretti threatened me that the account will be turned over to North Shore Collection Agency. Please note that the only issue I received from these people are the two complimentary free issues. I never committed to an annual subscription for 10 issues, nor did I receive any of them. Soon thereafter, these people kept sending me an invoice for something I never committed to nor receive a product for. Suddenly, I get this notice of delinquency from Mr. Maretti with a threat to turned over my account to a collection agency. I consider this a marketing scam and strong arming technique to scare consumers. It is an unethical business practice and can be considered customer harassment.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
