Company Billing / Customer Services Practices are ridiculous. They supply a phone number of a recording that directs you to the website. No human assistance available. We have tried to cancel our account since 2017 and continue to have issues with this company. They have now charges us close to $1, 000.00 and since we are unable to speak to someone nor able to successfully cancel this on their website, we have to simply deal with their charges that change depending on the year. We have recently been charged $516.85 for services that were neither wanted nor used. Please proceed with caution if at all with this company.

I have purchased a year subscription to wix for website, payment, and online booking for my business.
I am unable to use these services due to wix error. When I call customer support I am placed on hold for hours at a time with no support or customer service rep available to help. A waste of money and time. The customer service reps that do place me on hold or transfer my calls are extremely irritated and irrational. They will discover my call or again leave the call on hold for hours at a time. As a business owner this is a complete waste.

Had website for over a year, but had issue wix couldn't fix for over 6 weeks, my confidence was lost so I made another site on WP, now I needed refund for E-commerce & domain & my Gsuite obviously. I've spent so many hours on the phone with ticket number after ticket number but the staff just don't understand anything there saying . My domain & Gsuite I was guided by there staff member ( upscaled member ) and was awaiting the email for the token to use never came & then called back for them to tell me I had to rebuy my domain wait 72hrs to make transfers request ! But now I'm being told it's 60 days Wait so I have no email or domain I don't want to point it I just want what was agreed was going to happen, there staff errors have started to affect monetary income . So is there anybody in wix that really knows what there doing . I will if no reply have to source a small claims for my loses in the region of £500 per day .

refund policy and customer service
I had made a request to ask for a refund and was hopeful seeing that I was only one day over the 14 day period and the fact there was an option to send in a request after the 14 days. I called shortly after and the reply I got was that takes 20 business days (a really long time to wait when trying to get a business going) so I waited and finally had to request a call again and the customer service rep kept cutting me off every time I tried to explain the reason I'm asking for a refund saying that she needs to check with the billing department who was then closed. She did follow up with an email, however it was saying that I was outside the 14 days and they can't make exceptions and can't issue a refund. Each time I emailed telling my story of why I was requesting a refund I would get a different person replying with the same message. It's so hard to correspond when you can't talk with the same person. I may as well talk to a robot. Why have an option to request a refund outside the 14 days and make me wait 20 business days if they can't make exceptions? Very frustrated and this whole experience is very un-personable.

I paid for a premium package which was supposed to include the domain name. 7 months later they are trying to charge me for the domain name again. I have sent them their own email that says "connect a domain you already own." That is LITERALLY the sentence verbatim - no asterisk, no proviso - nothing. Now they are telling me it is for a domain name through another registrar NOT Wix. I told them that they should say that then. I also told them that I don't have another domain name and never have - so had they put that it had to be through someone else I wouldn't have used that service in the first place.

Following being unable to get my invoice reconciled and being cut off from my business email, I want to take my business away from Wix.
I am advised that the Domain cannot move until 60 days have passsed.
Therefoe, I need Wix to update the forwarding of my .com domain [held by Wix] to my .com.au domain [held by Big Daddy.
Despite undertakings on the phone, this has not taken place. See attached.
I need someone who is literate in the operation of Domains to contact me urgently and resolve this.
wix corp. fraudulent charge
Four years ago my wife and I utilized Wix to build a basic website for her acting profile. The Format was difficult, the tools overly complicated, and overall vastly inferior to other platforms such as Square Space. We stopped using their web design service about a year. Fast forward, we have moved to another area of the country, new bank, new credit cards, new address, new everything. We've been at our current address and banking for about a year now. Yesterday, inexplicably, we notice a charge of $250 to our bank account--the listing on the charge? Wix. How on earth they hacked into our current bank account is disturbing enough. What's more concerning, is: if they have the capability to track down our banking info, what other breaches of personal privacy have they perpetrated? Our banks fraud department is investigating them. Please spread the word: this is a dangerous and fraudulent company--DON NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I had an account with you a website and a domain with email address .. [protected]@gmail.com .. domain was www.mediationconsulting.solutions i have tried to log in today and it wont let me and also my gsuite [protected]@mediationconsulting.solutions has been suspended . I have no email to explain why and I cant raise a ticket because I cant log in ? Can somebody please explain this to me as I have paid for these services
Their customer service is almost non-existence. With all the money Wix spends on their spammy video advertisement, they don't have enough for support.
spammy ads and poor service
Having looking into needing a website for myself, WIX somehow keeps popping up all over my ads and won't stop like I'm being under surveillance. Besides WIX's spammy way of advertising to you, they won't stop even after you joined. Kind of creepy but I guess common these days.
I did sign up for their paid plan, but their service was not impressive at all. With all that money they spent spamming you, they could at least improve their product but no. You're getting a cheat website that you throw on a template for that everybody else is already using and nothing unique about it.
I've already requested a refund, and they are refusing to do so after a week of contacting them.
website fee - no contact regarding
On the 7th of April, I saw a £250 charge on my Amex card, I called the card and they couldn't confirm where the charge came from, after 7 days the lending charge cleared, it was £250 from Wix.com? I never was contacted by Wix regarding this, I never signed any contract and I don't seem to be able to contact anyone at their customer service!?
It's worrying that they had may card details and they charged my card, they used world pay and I didn't receive any notification from world pay regarding this charge!
I don't know what to do
Yes, exactly what SubSquirrel said. Filing a chargeback is what every merchant hates with the penalty and fee they have to pay but necessary if they're abusing you with unauthorized charges.

I signed up for the wix plus music package $6.40 monthly I asked them to refund me due to the fact o could not understand the webpage it was very confusing. They refund me the same day I complained then I wake up to the amount deducted again. I contacted them to let them know this I spoke to someone name Denica in then asks me for my card number expiration date on card and three digit code of course I did not give her this because they would of scam me out of more money.

Buyer beware- they are engaging in slam marketing.

I have not used the service one time and got charge for a second year for a Website i never built.
Shameful- and to add insult to injury they had behind a curtain of automated communication so you cannot talk to anyone...everything is done via a mind boggling make of email and web based communication options. There is NO complaint button.

In August of 2018 I canceled my "premium" service with Wix and my account as I was no longer interested in their services.
In December of 2018 and January of 2019 they emailed me repeatedly to update my credit card/payment info. I had obtained a new debit card in September (due to suspicious activity on my card). I did NOT update my card with wix.com as they harassed me repeatedly via email to do because I had canceled my account months prior.
So, I didn't worry about charges occurring in spite of my cancellation since I had both canceled my subscription and had a new card number.
Yesterday, I discovered they charged my account for my (canceled) domain, in spite of my cancellation as well as in spite of my not providing them with my new card number!
This is sketchy! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS COMPANY'S "SERVICES".

wix hotels website
I agree that WIX is a scam pyramid website builder.
I initially thought that I had a good website, then I discovered that there is absolutely no support. I telephoned in the past and scheduled a return call for support--returned call never happened. I was not able to customize my billing or receive accurate accounting on the site as promised and could not receive instruction on how to solve. The builder of my website would only give me some telephone number that was useless. I renewed my site (like an idiot) with a premium plan--stated analytics and SEO were included. Unfortunately--they took my SEO away--as well as my analytics, thy even took away my dashboard from my site--who is controlling this?
WIX is a disreputable company offering products they will not deliver upon and then offer no support except for their dismal web support that does not offer real solutions or help in any way, shape or form. WIX, is extremely bad for a small business trying to make it, I feel they have tried to ruin my small business--there is no doubt in my mind that this is a scam organization, please proceed with great caution
premium unlimited plan
I had created a website with wix's free web designer to prepare my site before I payed for a plan to activate it. Once I had, I selected the Premium plan " Unlimited ". The description of the plan stated:
-Unlimited Bandwidth
-10GB of storage
-Connect your domain
-1 Video hour
-Free domain for 1 year
-$300 ads vouchers
-Site boost app-$60 value
-forum builder app-$48 value
Once I had paid for this premium plan, I was not given my free domain, the $300 ads vouchers, nor was a domain connected.
I had emailed support to let them know I did not get the full package plan. A support rep by the name of Einard had replied that I had to pay for the domain and sent me a youtube video how to purchase a domain. I replied to the email stating I had tried everything to get my domain and that the domain was free with the plan and asked this person to help me get it. No response was presented back to me. 2 hrs later i had tried calling Wix, the phone rang twice and was sent to a recording. The recording stated to leave a call back number but no option was given after the recording to do so. I had tried to call back 45 minutes later and this time the phone did not ring, it went straight to the recording. At this time I am furious and emailed Einard back and told this person to cancel my account and put the money back in to the account with a full refund.
12 hrs later I get a response by email from a support member named paige. She had told me that the domain was free and I had to pay for the connection of the domain. She had also told me that if I wanted to cancel, I would have to do it online. I had told her that I will not cancel my account online due to the fact it could be foreseen as forfeit of a refund and told her to give a full refund and failure to do so will lead to legal repercussions also I informed her that the connection of the domain come with the package I purchased and sent her a screen shot of the plan I purchased along with the conformation of the purchase. I had emailed her to cancel my account and give me a full refund which by law is legal, an email is foreseen as a legal document as a legal binding contract. Today I received an email by a support rep named Chris stating I have to pay for the domain and that I could cancel by doing it on the wix website. I am going to press this issue and file a lawsuit for fraud and false advertising.
misinformation and removal of key features
Wix removed a product cvs import feature saying it will be "we have temporarily removed the ability to import and export products with a csv". This was over a year ago. I have a yearly plan with wix with a store that needs what amounts to hundreds of products and im stuck having to upload products one at a time. Wix on the other hand has been unhelpfull in hearing us or even informing us of when if ever they will bring back the feature or even a workaround.

My customers are unable to process thier credits cards on my site. Paypal says it is not on thier end, it must be something to do with my site. I have tried over 1 week to get someone to call me. I have tried contacting wix 4 times now and it is extremely frustrating not to be able to get any help. I have 6 websites with wix, but now I am going to cancel and go with someone else if this does not get resolved immediately. I am losing business over this.
We were happy with our WIX website for two years (since 2017) which we've spent considerable time developing for our local civic club. We recently upgraded to a premium business plan in January to allow banking online through our website. When we changed the plan, all of our Admins and Editors have been denied access to our website. The current sign in prompt denies us access due to a stated incorrect password which we did not change or have any occasion for change.
Since changing the plan we have not been unable to do anything in the account; can't access the account, change the password, or make changes to the daily content . Despite repeated efforts by many to reach WIX, by phone or through their Customer Service Support Ticket, we have not heard or had a call to assist us. We'd prefer to speak to someone at WIX to resolve this, but are continually frustrated with their lack of response or any means to contact them. It's going on a month with no service or access to our account. If only someone a WIX would respond to help us resolve this dilemma.

I bought a premium plan on this websote thinking it was worth it. It was not worth it. And seeming as it there refund policy is so short it was stupid of me to think it was. Wix are just money grabbers that dont care anout customers. I was only over the refund period for 3 days. They allow 14 days before issuing a full refund. But it took a little longer to realise that it was not worth it and ONLY 3 days over the refund period. Literaly nothing compared to the actual committed people that like abd use their product would they give me back my money. Nothing but a money grabbing site. Avoid at all costs.
