Winkflash Pictures

I ordered some 11 x 14 family photos and I also ordered one of my daughter and when they came out of their heads were cut off and a whole person was cut off of one of them so I would like to get them either reprinted or refunded but I am unable to contact you guys via phone and that makes me feel severely uncomfortable so if someone would give me a call back at [protected] I emailed a few days ago so I was hoping this would be taken care of and the order re-mailed or get my money back so I can get them from somewhere else because they were a gif I ordered some 11 x 14 family photos and I also ordered one of my daughter and when I came over their heads were cut off and a whole person was cut off of one of them so I would like to get them either reprinted or refunded but I am unable to contact you guys via phone and that makes me feel severely uncomfortable so if someone would give me a call back at [protected] I emailed a few days ago so I was hoping this would be taken care of and the order re-mailed or get my money back so I can get them from somewhere else because they were gift And this is absolutely ridiculous that I have to contact via email

Winkflash 20x30 poster

I placed an order for a 20 x 30 wedding poster for my daughter for Christmas. When I checked the website for a an anticipated delivery date, I couldn't find the order under my account. However, I received a confirmation email when I placed the order. I've emailed the company and received no response. I sent another email today in hopes that they will respond and get the item ordered to me on time for Christmas. It was ordered in time for delivery before then. In fact, I ordered other photo gifts from other companies after this order and have already received those items.

Winkflash terrible and awful

I am sick and tired of this service.
Yesterday I logged in to upload new photos and saw that all my photo albums are empty. They deleted everything I had for no reason!
I really thought it was the best service, probably because I have never had problems with hem. But then I read all of those reviews and understood I wasn't the only one who was left without any sign of photos. I don't know what to do. What could happen? Why did so many people lose their pictures they trusted your service?
Who will return it? There will be no answer...

Winkflash missing photos that never arrived! order #[protected]

I had ordered prints for 22 prints of 4x6 and 2 prints of 5x7, but only received the small prints.
When I made a compaint about it, they said it must be missing in the shipping process ! so they will send me the order of these 2 again ( I had paid $6 for these 2 prints). But I had waiting in vain (1 and half month), because they never arrived, even I 'd asked them again.
Avoid this company, for sure I won't recommend it to anybody. Very disappointed!

Winkflash Photo book didn't arrive

Ordered a photo book from www.winkflash.com website and never received it. I even paid for shipping to get my book as soon as possible! I went to their site and tried to find their contact information and wasn't happy when I realized that there was no phone number!
I sent them a message and they replied two weeks later! There was no information about my order status, just a computer generated message and nothing more.
I sent another message but was ignored. These scam artists took my money pretty fast and never delivered my book! Beware of Winkflash, they are cheaters!

Winkflash These people are the worst ever!

I have ordered a photo book from www.winkflash.com and it was birthday present for my grandmother! It was her 80 year birthday and I was responsible for the book. Unfortunately my order never arrived and these guys messed everything up. I had to think of another present and I was extremely disappointed.
Later I contacted them and asked for a refund and they agreed! I was surprised they said yes, but that was just another scam. I will never deal with them again, these people are the worst ever!

Winkflash They didn't help me to save my photo book

I decided to make the photo book on the website www.winkflash.com. I added 2 000 photos from my wedding and honey moon. I made different layout and wrote texts there. I worked so hard within several months, but one day the book didn’t open. I contacted the support team, but they haven’t even tried to help me and told that I needed to start a new book. Seriously, they haven’t even tried to help. Awful.

Winkflash Unable to use website for months

Ever since Winkflash has come under new management, I haven't been able to sign into the website using any number of devices and browsers. Either my sign in is declared incorrect (even when copying and pasting the login information provided to me within a minute of receiving it) or the sign in page is "unavailable" for an attempt at logging in.

Despite the higher prices, I wanted to try the "new" Winkflash, but it's really difficult to give them a chance when I cannot even use the site!

Also, their customer service dept has been no help. I hate to say this, since I was a devoted customer of the "old" Winkflash... but these issues are driving me to use a different company for my photo service.

Winkflash I will not be using Winkflash again

I was very unhappy with my one and only Winkflash experience. The web site is clumsy and cumbersome to use. Uploading photos is horrendously slow and often fails, especially if you do anything more than 50 MB at a time. Anyone that takes even moderate resolution photos knows that 50 MBs is not many photos! The Winkflash photo uploader recommends uploading no more than 200 MB at a time, but even when I tried 75 MB the uploads repeatedly failed. It was very time consuming to sit there and upload 50 MB at a time. It seemed to be uploading at 50-100 KB per second. After all this frustration I had issues with my order when it arrived. Customer service replied very quickly to my 3 attempts to discuss the situation with them, sometimes within an hour, but the replies were short and seemed to be copied and pasted. My questions and concerns were not specifically addressed at all. Dealing with customer service was not a pleasant experience. The quality of the items and prints I ordered was average. Not bad but not impressive either. I give them credit for printing and shipping the items quite fast, but at somewhat high shipping costs. I will not be using Winkflash again.

Winkflash Crappy user interface, unreliability of transfer

Winkflash photo prints are pretty good. The printed books are okay but they have a visible halftone dot pattern.
The problem with Winkflash is mostly with photo transfer. They once had a great service for those of us with slow internet connections and limits on bandwidth: you could put your photos on a CD or DVD disk and mail them, and they would end up in your account! But some dummy over there took away that service, so now instead of buying prints every month, I now can only afford (from a bandwidth perspective) to upload a few photos at xmas time.
They also had an economical and high quality spiral bound winkbook in 4x6 or 3x5 sizes that were cheap enough to give away as presents. Just group some photos and they would get bound into a neat little book! But some dummy, maybe the same one that got rid of the photo transfer on disk, also got rid of that service. Shame on winkflash!
The website is pretty crappy in terms of user interface, especially if you want to transfer from a mac. No iPhoto plugin. If the FTP craps out in the middle of a transfer, it doesn't keep the files that were sent, you have to START OVER. This is really annoying if you have dial up or bandwidth quotas.

The quality of the photo prints is good. The price is okay. The shipping rates are so-so. But the crappy user interface, unreliability of transfer, and the defunct service of transfer via CD disk are all negatives. I use to be a big user, and would be again if they restored their sanity and re-instituted the core services, and brought back the winkbooks. I used sony image station before winkflash. The transfer part of that now defunct site was great compared to Winkflash. But the prices were not great and Sony would crop photos in some stupid ways without permission.

Winkflash I do not recommend you use this company due to their inadequate customer service

My experiences with Winflash until my last order has been good. I started to trust them as a viable quality, low cost printer. Everything was good until I trusted them with my company's reputation. I own a very small design company and was contracted to create customer posters for a local high school's sports banquet (one of the largest and well known high schools in the area). It was my opportunity to make a name for myself.

I made sure that I got my order in a week and a half before the banquet, plenty of time I thought. Well, it was plenty of time for half my order. Winkflash printed and shipped half my posters. How does that happen? Since I still had two days before the banquet, I called them and asked them to expedite the printing of the remaining posters and then overnight them to me. When the customer service rep was no help, I asked to talk to a manager. I was literally told that management does not take phone calls, only emails. I was also told that once I emailed management, I would be given a response within 24 hours. Since this was half the time I had left, I told them that was not acceptable. I needed to talk to them immediately and get this problem resolved.

I told them I was a loyal customer and that I thought this could be a chance for them to shine. Every company makes mistakes and if they corrected the error and got the posters to me the next day (overnight delivery) that I would proclaim them to the world for their great response to a problem. No such luck. Management did email me back but said they don't ship overnight.

I had to scramble to find a local printer that could fulfill my order and had to pay through the nose to do it. Needless to say, it was almost a total disaster for me and my small company.

I do not recommend you use this company due to their inadequate customer service.

Winkflash Product and customer service

Winkflash overcharges for shipping, and only sent me 15 of 52 photo cards I ordered. I have called and called and usually never get through and just get a busy signal. When I did get through, the guy apologized and said I would get the remainder of my order by Thursday (it did not arrive yesterday or today- and it has been 11 days- not the "ships within 3 days like they promise). They don't return any of my emails, my order hasn't come, and on top of never getting through to customer service, when you do make the hold loop, they disconnect you. I have been disconnected from them 4 times in 24 hours, and it is not my phone.

I have used Winkflash for a few years now and have always been very happy with their products. I have had regular prints made as well as enlargements up to poster size. The items all looked great and were a great value. I would not hesitate to to use them, as i recommend Winkflash to all my friends and family. The only time i had a "fuzzy" print is when i chose to have a print made from an image that was not a high enough resolution to be made into a print, but their system gave a warning that the print most likely would not turn out well and i continued anyway. The fuzzy print was not their fault, but was my fault because i used a picture that was too low of a resolution. That one print is the only fuzzy one i ever had, and their system even warned me ahead of time. I think the reviewers above were using poor quality images to upload, and that resulted in the poor quality they received.

I received my pictures and frankly was very disappointed. The quality of pictures is very poor. They were very dark and images were fuzzy. There is lots of red color, so everything looks unnaturally red! Such poor quality is not acceptable.I printed some of the pictures on my home photo printer and they came out much better. Pictures were not dark, not as red and images were sharp and blur-free.I would like to stress again that these pictures were very dark, very red (even green palm trees looked red on the pictures!) and fuzzy.I also ordered the same pictures at Costco, Snapfish etc. to compare and they came out perfect!
