WinCo Foods debit only can do cc

just left the winco in moore ok put eveything on belt my recite came to $78.98
put my card in and asked if it was green or red button the casher go debit only
try to rember my pin but could not now my card is locked till monday when i call the bank only had a little 4"x4" card the casher pointed to you with till they cheakout then tell people that your cc have be down four 2 or 3 days when my dollar general they put a sign at the door . no manager so now I will take my bussiness to crest

We have shopped at WinCo for 10 years and they have great employees. We haven't had food issues at any Utah store.

WinCo Foods Service

They typed a code to charge my mom $39.80, which my mom didn't buy. Here is the receipt.She didn't buy 40 pounds cauliflower. She only bought one cauliflower. So she went to the service table to ask why. One man circled 39.80, told her it is solved. No apology to her. They are annoyed to be found by her. When she is back to my car, I didn't see the refund receipt. When I go inside ask them why didn't they give her the refund receipt. They told me that they are told not to by manager😱.

WinCo Foods i was over charged for my purchase and not refunded

i came into the modesto ca store to shop for wic. i was charged an additional $ 19. i tried to resolve the issue with the cashier before i paid but was told he was unable to do so. i took my receipt up to customer service where a total of six employees including an assistant manager were unable to find the reason why i was over charge. i was there for over an hour and a half ..well after the purchase of my items . Myself along with a cashier went back to every aisle to prove the legitimacy of each item purchased in my cart. my receipt was dissected piece by piece with no resolve. i was given empty excuses as well as finger pointing towards the cashier that wrong me up suggesting incompetence do to recent medical leave. finally after all the wasted time...the empty excuses..and the endless deflecting. i was told that this issue warrent further investigation which could take couple of days. i.. a devoted custumer was then sent on my way feeling embarrassed..devalued and disrespected...over a over charge of $19... winco needs to DO BETTER

WinCo Foods Ada regulations compliance

I was @ the Winco Foods on Watt Ave, Sacramento, @ 11-12pm, on 3/5/21 and pallets and stock were everywhere, unable to effectively and trying to get groceries in less than 30 minutes. Unable to use your mart cart and get around the isles effectively. Teller so lazy that she couldn't stand to use her "scan gun, expecting me to lift the 24pk Mtn Dew onto conveyor belt, though physically impossible. No assistance for the Disabled.

Desired outcome: Learn ADA RIGHTS AND REGULATIONS

Pretty sure the store is to code. Everything you listed is not a violation of ADA laws. Have you tried going at different times when it’s not as busy or being stocked? Maybe the cashier also has a disability and couldn’t help you.

WinCo Foods Debit only

This company accepts debit only, no credit cards. But they do not tell you this until after they have rung up all of your items and yiu go to pay. As someone who is lucky enough to have plenty of money in my bank account to pay, I feel lucky because if I would have spent an hour and a half shopping only to find out after i've bagged all of my items, that they wouldn't take my credit card.
This is unacceptable. They need to have a large sign when you walk in that says debit or cash only. I feel so bad for anyone who goes to buy all of their food only to realize they can't.
It is 2021 winco, change your policy.

There is a large sign at the entrance in every store. Most people never read everything that is posted.

WinCo Foods My check refused and undisclosed inquiry fee charged

Store refused to take my check. Manager ran some sort of inquiry that said I had insufficient funds. My check was for $96.27. However I had $786.40 in my checking account at the time. Even worse than that, Winco charged a fee of $25.00 against my checking account for?, the inquiry I guess, and the manager did not tell me about the fee. I didn't find out about it until I checked my bank account.

I am requesting that Winco return the hidden $25.00 fee plus $25.00 for my trouble and public embarrassment.

WinCo Foods Managment

Hi I have a complaint about department manager in bulk foods in Bremerton, Washington. She is either upstairs, on her phone or walking around with the same cart all day. Leaves her freight for closer to do.boxes all over floor and in back. Management won't do anything about it, leaves when she wants. Why has she been allowed to get away with this? She just doesn't seem to care.

I put in for vacation got my paycheck and notice they didn't put in, they did this last year too, and yes I did fill out a slip.Now I can t pay my bills and have to go and talk to them get it straightened out.And wait until next payday. This store 105 Bremerton, Washington kitsap way.I don't know if Melanie forgot or if Julie didn't put it in as vacation

WinCo Foods Employees refusing to get something off of the top shelf

I went to the store on Sunday night and they did not have any water in the aisles and when I was in line notice that they had water on the top of the shelving. I asked them to get some down for me and they said that they would not be doing it until the night so I left and came back the next day. They still had not gotten the water down and I asked if they could find somebody to get it for me again. They still refuse to help me so I will not be going to WinCo again

WinCo Foods Employment

I started on Nov 5th 2019 as a Janitor just to get my foot in the door. After 2 weeks they asked if I wanted to move to Sanitation cause one of the employees got hurt and would be out for awhile. So I said yes! I loved it! After 3 months of being in Sanitation they decided to change our shifts from 10hrs to 8 hrs and to change the shifts by senority. So that ment I was the last one hired so I pretty much had to take what they gave me. But before I took both these jobs my bosses knew me and my husband was Youth Pastors at our church and I couldn't work Sunday mornings! So I get called in my bosses office it was the assistant manager and the Sanitation manager . They gave me 2 options both working on Sunday. I told them I couldn't do that. I told them how important it was to me to be a Youth Pastor. So they basically told me I had to or put my notice in. So that's what I did. They treated me like I was nothing at all to the company! So I put my notice in not really wanting to cause I enjoyed what I was doing! Well a day went by and I got called in the office again this time with the Assistant Manager and another manager. This time he was like a different person talking about how good of a worker I was and how they didn't want to loose me but they wanted to move me back to being a janitor just because I couldn't work Sunday mornings! Well at first I said ok cause I really enjoyed working for this company. But the more I thought about it it wasn't fair! I told my boss I could come in later on Sundays. I would even work overnights. But instead they wanted me to clean toilets again like they was punishing me for not being able to work Sunday mornings! I ended up quitting because how they treated me! I hope no other employee has to go threw this!

WinCo Foods requiring all parties to show id for alcohol sale.

Hubby & I moved to Vacaville from the Bay a couple of years ago & discovered the local WinCo near our home. This place is good for cheap prices and has late hours for "anytime" grocery-shopping. They don't accept credit card though, so come ready with your debit card/cash. ALSO come ready with your ID, even though you're not the one in the party buying alcohol... -_-.
Had a bad experience tonight with our cashier. We bought loads of our normal Sunday groceries & hubby wanted some Bud Light w/ Lime Beer (yum!). Well, when we get to the check-out line, the cashier refused to sell us the beer because I didn't have ID. Now mind you, my husband had his ID! California Law only requires the person purchasing the beer is required to show I.D. Yes, any venue can refuse to sell alcohol, but just because they can, doesn't mean they should. It's so dumb & ridiculous the reason the cashier gave us. "I can lose my job because I need to see everyone's ID." No actually you don't, only my husband's ID is sufficient. We've never experienced this at safeway, raley's, or Costco. Just here. WinCo just lost a loyal customer. I will be writing to their corporate & HQ too, so they will be aware how their local Vacaville WinCo is making poor decisions.

WinCo Foods racial discrimination

So i'm shopping in this winco location for very very long time and I never have problems until 3 days ago where I cashier give me some dirty nasty look for no reasons at all I have no idea what I possible have done to deserve such a nasty treatment and my wife felt that too so she look at me and told me "just ignore him" then I realize is all the nastiness come from the cashier is because i'm white and the cashier is "latino" full of tattoos who probably hate all the white people! I never felt so uncomfortable in whole my life I guess this country force me to think twice to where I go food shopping since i'm white
Sp walmart or winco is definitely not a places where I can go buy my food without end up to deal with some [censored] who have problems with the white people!

WinCo Foods winco store in bellingham

I went to winco tonight to do grocery shopping for my family of 8 people. I spent 340.00 on groceries. I went to the car to load up the bag of groceries I purchased. I turned around to open my trunk I when I went to reach for the grocery kart and was rolling down the hill. My kart Crashed and all the groceries spilled out and broke. Winco would not help replace the items that broke. I just had surgery 1 week ago and could not run after the kart. Poor customer service on winco part

WinCo Foods customer service

Your customer service is a joke! Your self check out is a joke! Took 40 min to check out bc of your systems: "check your basket, check your basket" and every time it says that, we had to wait for a grumpy, old, unfriendly associate to come and input her id code! First of all, the store was severely understaffed on a Saturday. Second, we waited in a self check out lane for over 20 min. Finally our turn comes, and the old, grumpy, unpleasant lady jumps in front of us and starts counting my grocery items, holding up the line behind me even longer. Yes, we had more than 20 items but there were people in that line with fuller carts than us. She told us, we can't use the self check out, after we waited for about 25 min! I told her I was about to leave everything and take my business elsewhere and she was more than ready to let me go! Did not care that Im about to spend $170 for about 24 items, and did not care I will never be returning to WINCO, ever again. She was all about yelling and embarrassing us in front of all other customers, pointing her finger at us to leave! As a customer I have never been treated this way by anyone, . Winco is in our neighborhood and we come shopping here on daily bases. Never again! You have lost us as well as my entire family as a customers for life! For my money, I get to be disrespected this badly?at the grocery store? I am a district manager my self and my managers would be in real trouble if they were not treating our customers with dignity and respect! I can't stress enough to my team, we live off of our customers, we pay our bills because they exist! You lose one customer you have lost your future sales and traffic growth, automatically the bonus too!
This was the worst experience in my life this evening, but I will never give you a chance to repeat this incident again, because Winco isn't getting a dime out of my wallet anymore!

WinCo Foods beef

I just try away $54 worth of beef that I bought on WEDNESDAY night. All of your meats should have 1 week shelf life in my refrigerator unless otherwise marked for quick sale.
The $12 worth of thin sliced beef was green/brown. The $42 roast the same.
This is just unacceptable, your meat did not even last 72 hours before it had to be disposed of. It is not like you are selling the stuff any cheaper than the 5 other grocery stores in my area. Therefore, I guess, I will just have to buy my meat elsewhere. We are a family of 6 and have been spending $300-$500 per week at your store since it opened. I can understand the odd potato being bad, or lettuce that wilts after a few days, but the much much much more expensive meats should be cut fresh, not 3-5 days old when you buy it

It is just unacceptable, I understand that people may not have been buying as much of a certain product because of the Christmas holiday, but your store should not be foisting [censored] on us because the meat department manager failed to anticipate the holiday season.
Angry! because now I must go out to the site to buy something for dinner. I won't be going to Winco!

WinCo Foods rude behaviour harassment and unprofessionalism

Winco on South in Lakewood. My 6 yr old daughter was told to leave the store cause she was holding her puppy. I told the cashier I refused to let a child stand outside by herself, when a customer offered to hold the puppy for us, the cashier stated that it wasnt his problem. She refused to let us pay for our items so we could leave. My daughter was already in tears at this point and the cashier decided to call the manager over who asked us to leave, another customer had their dog with them so we asked why we had to leave but they were allowed to stay. The manager stated to not worry about other customers and we were no longer allowed to shop there and the police would be called if we didnt leave immediately. My family was singled out and harrassed. Had we been asked nicely and informed of any policies we would be happy to comply but the cashier just very rudely told a 6 year old to leave. Didnt address me, her parent, an adult, just went straight for a child.

WinCo Foods winco brand bag of long grain rice

I bought a winco brand 2lb bag of long grain rice one week ago on sunday 12/8/2019 in springfield oregon. When I opened the bag there were worms all over in the bag so much so that there is a weird web silk all over the inside of the bag. I am more than happy to send it to you.
I am concerned becuase I am a loyal winco shopper and the fact that this also came from a product brand of winco, I am scared to purchase anything ever again and very tempted to send this in and make it viral. This is unacceptable.
I hope this issue is addressed asap or I am submitting this video on all of my social media sites. Unacceptable

WinCo Foods rude cashier

Cashier Albertina store#0062 extremely rude really unprofessional i forgot to write down the stock number for pitted dates, i felt like i was being helped by a 14 year old high school drop out, eyes rolling and attitude, "what is this" she asked holding the bag with her forefinger and middle finger.i also picked up a can of green peas instead of sweetcorn i told her i didnt want it i said it twice because the first rime she didnt remove it from the belt she replied with an annoyed "i know" She noticed i looked at her name so proceeded to give me my change and her tone of voice to a high pitched "thank you have a nice day" but she had already ruined it.

WinCo Foods meat department.

I find absolutely [censored]ing ridiculous that you dont have a single chuck roast or turkey over 16 lbs and only 1 person working the meat department. What kind of grocery store only employs 1 person in the meat department. Also the next time one of your male employees smarts off or gets an attitude with me I'll break his [censored]ing face on the spot. Test me and see

Also probably not good practice to leave racks and racks of unwrapped meat just sitting around the meat department while your 1 employee isnt even in the store

WinCo Foods chicken soup base

I know you "try" to offer a quality product and save consumers money at the same time, but this (chicken soup base) is Not a quality product. This product use to be chicken soup base.
Now what is alleged to be soup base is nothing more than cornstarch with very little actual chicken fat, or whatever it was previously. Before Winco changed and bought the product from a new vendor, or the vendor changed the product, it had taste and looked like chicken broth.
Now, I may as well, cut up and fry a chicken with fat so I can make soup that tastes like chicken soup. In other words, it's not saving me money. I'll have to buy those nasty cube things if I want chicken flavor, apparently.
